It is really hard to say as it depends on bitcoin price at that moment

I'm agree with you. It's depend at the price of bitcoin, if the bitcoins' price at high price, i only need 0.07-0.1 per week. To make a living i need around 0.7-0.175 per week.

it is possible to make a living using bitcoin, but it depends on the country you lived, in order to make a living in my country you need at least 0.4 a month for 1 person, and to get that amount you need some skill, you can get that by doing trading or offer your skills

Yeah, it is possible but I won't say that it would be easy, if your budget per person should be .4BTC amonth, then you would be needing a lot of focus doing that, bunches of works and lesser rest working on micro jobs. I think .2BTC is enough for a single person who don't have much debts and bills to pay but still considering the place where you live, in where I live, I could survive with just .2BTC a month. Lucky that I have a day job.

I'm using 0.5 btc per month to make a living. But the number of bitcoin used per month totally depends its price which can change 20% - 40% is one day.  I still regret I sold my 355 bitcoins back in 2013. My advise save your bitcoin and only spend it when its really needed.

... and the place where you live.
from what I have heared you can make a living for 100$ in venezuela.
But in Texas that amount brings you nowhere.

in venezuela some trivial things may cost more than $100, like bubble gum or rice and stuff like that.

they have hyperinflation and not enough supply, so unless you are really rich or from the government, you'll make a living only if your concept of living doesn't evolve things like have enough food to survive etc

In my country selling 1 Bitcoin at the current price could make a living, but in some other poor countries even 100$ in BTC can really help people to make their living, so its depend on countries.

That is right. In the US, you need at least 3 bitcoins a month to make a good living. It is more expensive than other countries.

3 bitcoins to make a living in USA everyday? is too high the cost of living there
in my country 0.1 btc is enough to make a living everyday.

You would need to sell something like 0.25 bitcoins per day to make a living. Selling by itself is not practical because you would have to be wealthy to buy enough. Trading or lending are ways to make some extra money, but as always, the more you have to invest, the more money you could make.

Instead of selling a huge sum of Bitcoins at once, you can sell it once every week. Calculate how much you spent last week and sell that much Bitcoin. Try to lessen your expenses every week, record every single thing that you buy. In this way, you'll be aware if you're already overspending.

Selling all your coins at once can lead into loss of potential earnings. You could sell now at 600$ but once the price has increased, you just lost your chance selling your coins at a higher price.
I also prefer to sell my coins step by step as selling all coins at once is never a good idea.

At the rush to nearly $800 in June I sold small amounts on the entire way up. That resulted in me having more than decent profits.

If I sold all my coins at once at a certain price level, then I wouldn't benefit from the price that goes higher and higher.
If you sell your bitcoins at once then you will no longer wait for another opportunity, I believe there are still more room for the improvement of the price of bitcoin so it is better to hold longer.

Is it even possible to make a living by selling bitcoins?
Back then 2013 i could really say that if im going to buy bitcoin in the year of 2005 where the bitcoin price is really cheap and wait for many years then i will sell more than 200bitcoin to make living by selling bitcoin and by trading also i want to keep my money safe i will deposit it into banks and then make business.

enough for me to spend 1 bitcoin per month for living. because I can get more than that on altcoin trade and other ways Smiley
If that was consistent every month you can really make a living. 1btc is pretty decent amount but of course it still depend on what kind of living you have.

Probably yes, because bitcoin is a real cash. You can earn it easily specially when you are a computerholic not computer addicted hehe. In my case I convert my bitcoin monthly and I earn 100$ per month its small but it helps me a lot to buy my needs because I am a students.

If you earn the bitcoin from this forum, that will be a very small amount. It will not be able to support life.
