Ok, so how much BTC I need to store from now to be millionaire Smiley in 3-5 years when Bitcoin grows mainstream ?
10 ? 50 ? 100 ? 1000 ?  Share Your thoughts.

you will need at least hundred thousands of bitcoin to become a millionaire in 3-5 years. because i don't think that bitcoin price is going to the moon, despite some people wish. it is going to grow but will not go to $10,000 for example.
take a price that you think is possible to reach in the future and then do the calculations. i say that price is going to be from $800 to $1500.

You gotta factor the obvious up and down rates, so I say you need a sizable sum.

Maybe like 4-5,000 coins minimum.

Incase if you see the rate ever go back down to where it is now.

So if you want to be a millionaire, you already need to be one. That is most definitely the shortest route indeed.

Everyone should know that the fastest way to get a million is to start with two...

if you have one million you can consider yourself rich already, at least i would do in my case, one million is enough for retiring for me

Regardless if they had a chance to get lot of coins is either done business really well.

Or you were the very few people about mining bitcoins with a gpu before the asic wars. Like that guy who bought pizza for 30,000 bitcoins or something I forget.

I believe the price won't be so much greater in 3-5 year period, not withouth something really important enough to force on another market boom.
So the amount of bitcoins you should have to be a millionaire will probably be around 2000, but that's sort of a worst case scenario.

I wouldn't worry about specific numbers...whether you have $300,000 or $700,000 or $1,200,000 worth of BTC, those are all GREAT ROI's. Just try to continually accumulate as many as you can in the meantime without overextending yourself. Prices will be cheap for a while most likely.

If this thing really, really takes off, even 1 BTC will be enough in my opinion. So to be sorry, I would aim to have about 10 BTCs, stick them in cold wallet and give this technology a chance to really take off another 5-8 years.

Yes,it will be necessary to wait that amount of time. We need to wait that Bitcoin gets ready for the mass adoption, security, wallets, education of average Joes etc, all need to be improved and this takes time.

I Think bitcoin can maximum rising up to $300 or $400 if good news will come ............ So you need 2500 BTC for becoming millioner ........

But i fear to say maybe we will see crashing to price $150 and never back to $200 .........

So No hope for buying ......... BTc is end in my opinion

1M so even if it goes to 1$ you are still a millionaire!

Damn you Satoshi....  Tongue

No reason for many to put $1 million into Bitcoin, unless they have a ton of money to spare. No interest can be gained off of it.
Once Bitcoin stabilizes and increases steadily in value, then people will store their wealth in Bitcoin. Bitcoin's too young right now, and too volatile for the rich to do that. Once it starts an uptrend, there will be an explosive amount of growth, since more people know about it and want to jump on the train, it may fall just as visciously back down, unless Bitcoin finds it's place in society. Once it does, as little as 10 could make you a millionaire.
I meant 1M BTC lol  Shocked

Depends in which part of world you live.At my place you would already be millionaire if you could afford to buy 50 btc

Yeah , I agree with you it really differs between a place and another one , for example 1 bitcoin in my country worth like a salary for 2 month in a lot of full time jobs

which country is that?

People who diversify don't get rich. They just preserve their capital. Nothing more, nothing less

This is as true as "people not winning at lottery don't get rich".

With so many options, if you have some start amount to invest, you have a good chance to win.
Of course, you have to use your brain and adjust when needed (like the ones who sold BTC at 1000$ and bought back - or not? - much later).
