I think it's around ten to fifteen county, you can google it for the exact information. But here is a wiki page link for a list of countries with crypto information that will show where it is legal where not. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country_or_territory Hopefully, your country in green list here, but if no don't worry. I'm sure more countries will make it legal by 2020.

Very interesting topic. Legalising cryptocurrency is just one step to another world of economics and daily life.
I hope to see that world soon.

I very often see news that some state approved the use of cryptocurrency. This is very encouraging. It is thanks to such assistance from states that many more followers of Satoshi Nakamoto's idea become.

The important matter is what do you mean when say 'legalized'
As i know, in Japan cryptocurrency was legalized as valuable assets, but not like an alternative money. The same also happened in some states of USA, but it was as a court precedent, not like a law. But again, they determined BTC as valuable assets, a basis for a taxation, but not like an alternative money in parallel to US dollars.
On my opinion governments&politicians may speak a lot about such legalization, but all of this will remain words only, never a cryptocurrency will be legalized as the money in any country. Because any government will not accept a decentralized money those are out of their control. Otherwise they just will kill themselves by such legalization.
Of course, in some countries, for instance in Venezuela mentioned above, they can try to create such a currency that looks like a crypto, based on blockchain technology, called as 'crypto', etc. But for sure it will be not a real cryptocurrency, because it will be centralized, controlled by government.
So no way for a crypto legalization. Cryptocurrency is the next level of money evolution, created especially in order to destroy&replace the existing financial system. So no way to integrate it in that old system, they are absolute antagonists.
Now governments are studying and discussing cryptocurrencies.Countries will slowly supervise them. And I hope that cryptocurrencies will be accepted by more and more countries.

Probably more than what you think , in philippines we can buy&sell bitcoin when ever we wanted to , we can do it even on our local 7/11 shops
but we kinda pay a luxury 5% fee each time we buy or sell , that is the only downside tho

The legal status of bitcoin varies substantially from country to country and is still undefined or changing in many of them.Whereas the majority of countries do not make the usage of bitcoin itself illegal, its status as money (or a commodity) varies, with differing regulatory implications. While some countries have explicitly allowed its use and trade, others have banned or restricted it. Likewise, various government agencies, departments, and courts have classified bitcoins differently. While this article provides the legal status of bitcoin, regulations and bans that apply to this cryptocurrency likely extend to similar systems as well. These are some of legalized countries.

As far as I know, Japan, Russia, Israel, Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany, and Switzerland have legalized cryptocurrencies, and some countries are considering whether to accept cryptocurrencies!

As far as I know, the president of Uzbekistan has recently issued a decree that makes crypto trading and exchanging legal in the country. Mining is also legal in Uzbekistan.
Australia and New Zealand are also crypto-friendly countries.

I want to know about countries which is developing Crypto.

You know what today there are a lot's of countries legalized the used of cryptocurrency because they probably think that cryptocurrency will really help them in their economic status. Some countries just only adapt it because they know it will become useful in the future. But though lots of them accept the used of it still there are a lot's of countries who didn't tolerate it. They instead banned it in their country.

I heard Iran has legalized bitcoin transactions, this is very good and some traders are looking for local exchangers to conduct arbitrary trading.
I am sure that this is very beneficial for me not to analyze further whether this trade is safe.

Japan, on April 2017 began to be known as digital money. The United States, is becoming one of the largest cryptocurrency in the world. Denmark, not only in terms of its sophisticated technology but the most intense country in encouraging the elimination of cash using digital currency. South Korea, not surprisingly South Korea is rapidly embracing bitcoin as both investment and payment and money exchange. Finland, also a country that has already exempted the purchase of bitcoin. Indonesia, there is still a lot of talk about this digital currency

As far as I know, big and influential countries are adopted the cryptocurrency market. Our country is also in the state of observation whether the cryptocurrency is going to be fully adopted or what. It did not mention if it includes putting taxes but so far, we are looking forward that the government will make the right decision.

What I like best is Japan, they are moving forward a few steps from other countries, of course it is an advantage for them to enjoy something extraordinary and very well managed without conflicts that can give effect to other countries, there is already trying to start legalizing it but not yet perfect still in the stage of negotiation and development, one day we can feel the positive effects of legality globally, it takes a lot of time to follow the previous country.

Has any country legalized cryptocurrency? If yes I don't really know but here in African no country legalize BITCOIN but people are trading with it while some invested in it.

In Africa, I think South Africa and Kenya are the most prominent in cryptocurrency but I don't think they have come near to legalizing it. South Africa is the most out of Africa but it awareness is still very low compared to Euro, Asia or America.

It is one thing to legalize crypto-currencies and declare to the whole world, and another as it will in reality. I set Belarus as an example. Legalized and always make changes.

For now, Indian government hasn't allowed legal trading but it's under discussion. I am hoping that it will come with a great news.
That's one big news on India.

There are news before that they banned bitcoin but another news came out its only from the RBI that attaches to the local exchanges there. I'm hoping that everything will great again there and there will be no more obstacles that will stop our crypto folks into buy, selling and trading crypto's.

France has set a number of regulations on cryptocurrency exchanges. The country isn’t as warm and welcoming to cryptocurrencies as many other nations in Europe. It requires a strict KYC process for all domestic exchanges and users who sign up for them need to provide personal information.

I don't know about it. As far as I know, I know that countries open to cryptocurrencies are Japan and Russia! And some merchants in Japan use cryptocurrency as a way to pay wages!
As we all know, Japan and Russia are developing countries, and I know they have received cryptocurrency as a payment method. But besides that, China has banned the use of Bitcoin in trade. People's Bank of China Deputy Governor Pan Gongsheng said that the government would continue to put pressure on the trading of cryptocurrencies and prevent increasing risks in the market.

Japan is one of the countries that legalize bitcoin and even try to develop it. Unlike other countries that only accept payments using bitcoin but just accept it. I only know, Japan is a country that is aware of technological developments. Nearly 70% of their daily work is assisted by a technology system, so it is not wrong for them to adopt and try to develop cryptocurrency to be accepted by every citizen.
