When I first started out, I always stuck to four: btc, eth, than two others that I would trade out depending on the market.
These have ranged from neo to omg and even wings.

Then, I started investing in ICOs and started getting more.
But it was never more than five or six because I would flip the icos and sell them off as quick as I could.

And now, just like everybody, I have a ridiculous amount of coins from bounty hunting.
Last time I checked, I have a whopping 28 coins! lol.

Some of them I could have sold them off for decent profit, but I figured since I didn't invest money in them, I can just hodl on to them.
And then I have the ones that are literally shitcoins.  They never even made it to an exchange so they are just sitting in my wallet forever.

I don't own a huge now though. Before the start of the current crash, I had sold a bunches of altcoins. I was a little bit sure the crash. Anyway, I own 5 coins right now. BTC, ETH, SNODE, NANO, and ETC. I didn't sell those just because I thought those will not be much affected.

I currently have about 20 different tokens. Most of these are tokens from various ICO projects. Some - from participating in bounty campaigns.

In general, it does not matter because all my savings have dropped 10 times and today most of these projects are just what I can earn on bounty today, which in most cases is not paid. This is the situation on the market today.

If tokens are counted, there are a lot of them. Sometimes it is not even possible to keep track of their prices without special tools. And the main coins that can give a very fat profit in the future can be calculated on the fingers of their 10, all of them from the top 50 by capitalization. Everyone chooses which coin is worth holding and which one will sell on growth.

It's better because we can make lots of purchases and hold lots of crypto will also give us benefits later. it's like what happened later when bitcoin has ended a bad time like now and starts to rise again later

How many different coins do you currently own? And why that/these coin/s?
Most are coins or tokens from valuable experiences, whether from coins / garbage tokens to valuable coins. all of them were gathered from the beginning to join in the crypto world, until now some of them are valuable and not, but now that valuable experience has led me to be smart in choosing a number of projects going forward

I have many different altcoins with market price of below $0.1 that I bought during the dip and I will hold those coins until they release their product to the market. This is my long term plan to invest on those cheap altcoins that has potential to grow in next 2-3 years. It's a risk to invest on cheap altcoins but I should need to take the risk as I believe on their team that they will work harder to make their names in crypto.

Our rule of thumb when investing in crypto is not to invest all the money into an altcoin. So I've invested in 5 different altcoins to reduce the risk if a certain altcoin scam. And it will limit losses when the prices of the altcoin fall

Generally, I have a lot of coins, but most of them are of rather low value. That's because I do not have the habit of selling my tokens from bounty campaigns, before it's gone for at least a year since they were on the market.

The more, the better of course, because sooner or later these projects will still be able to benefit and grow in value, because they are very dependent on BTC as a whole. So we just need to wait and everything will be fine.

Am only holding 12 coins but Bitcoin take more than 50% of its distribution and the remaining are still top twenty Altcoins behind Bitcoin. I can't risk my money in new projects now until U see some level of stability in the market

I don't keep too many coins, before the altcoin dies or has a bad price, I think more about exchanging it for eth or btc, because it looks like the price will be better later this year, at least the price is more stable than other altcoins
