It's sure that bitcoin can be used for criminal activity but much more important is that bitcoin can give to each of us financial freedom, anonymity, chance to change life etc.

Threads like this one should not even be allowed. It brings nothing but bad reflection on both forum and the bitcoin community.
Trying to get people to incriminate themselves when they know they're even monitored by gov is insane.
Don't get me wrong, i'm against abuse of hard drugs, but this can serve to nothing other than determenting correlation inbetween forum and illicit activity.

I know a couple of people that may or may not hold some of their funds in btc, but then I may or may not know others who hold even more in fiat and precious metals.
Your best place to find them is checking every darknet site and counting them or asking them the questions you want (not in public) haha. You have more chance at getting an idea that way. Not that it matters to anyone other than the obvious.

It is pointless survey. The drug dealers wouldn't admit that. It is just a question. My concern for asking was to see if they'd be interested in discussing their work. Many people are open and honest about drug smuggling these days because of VPN's and such.

Most of us are not drug dealers, so we will say no. For the drug dealers, they will not tell you.

I think you want to head for the darknet, there are not so many drug dealers on the bitcoin forum
Bitcoin has already proven to not being a great way to buy drugs anyway....it could work, but u need to turn full paranoid to use them in an anonimous way.

1. Bitcoin isn't anonymous.
- What happens when you need legitimate Fiat? You have to cash it out but where...? On an exchange and a lot more of them are requiring personal information to verify who you are.
2. Why would anyone potentially want to accept something so volatile inherently in nature?
I don't know if you are just foolish, high, drunk, or just don't know what is going on in general.
Are you one of those people who lurks this forum and searches for deep web users just to arrest them afterwards? Not sure if someone would even answer your question given that many people have already been arrested due to answering such stupid questions like this. :p
