i do pbmining investment that is easy just invest your online btc earning in miming work and earn for 5 years
I hate to give you the news, but thats money down the hole. You should have been more diligent while investing.

It is tough to find out which cloud mining schemes are legitimate and which ones are just ponzi schemes.

Easy, any cloud mining company promising ROI in 2-3 months is a ponzi. These tend to stay around for long so you can still profit.

Came across this after I made the post above. Was a real eye opener.

Alexa tells that India accounts for 9.3% traffic on bitcointalk http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/bitcointalk.org
This number is more than that of the UK.
We are only behind of Russia and USA.
I guess bitcoin has a lot of potential in India. ..

This might be helpful
For a quick view this is what I can share at the moment :

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmX_0duDjH75dEo5SWtsbHg5YUhMdngya0taVHpIRHc&usp=sharing

This sheet contains data of buysellbitco.in visitors spread across Cities in the konth of December 2013 when we suspended operations. I will try to release few more metrics as I get time.

Note : Sharing data is good thing and can help community to understand how things are going. But still if anyone thinks I should not post this let me know.

Regards
Mahin

Just start and anonymous poll; it might be a good indicator.

Not at all. Not many frequent this forum, and a lot less come in this section. Take a look around, you will find quite a few posters are Indians but you won't see them here.

Yup I agree this wouldn't work.
There is no easy way to get an estimate for the number.

True. At best, it could be a guesstimate problem for an interview Tongue

It would be tough for the interviewer to evaluate an answer as well. Smiley

Hi friends iam from india hyderabad i have some satoshis but not at least one  bitcoin iam in diploma during 2009 i dont know how this bitcoin will change the world in 5 years during those days.

But presently i want to know how many indians are with how many bitcoins i mean any large accounts i have read the news that some person in india have made 40 crores with bitcoin really...?

I think u r talking about Mahin Gupta of BuySellBitco.in.

Lol I wish I have made that much money Tongue
I have few Bitcoins but not in the range people think I have. When you trade you trade, storing is just for anticipated gain which should not be turned into speculation.

I just once had maximum of 2btc.
However there are many in India who are holding much larger amounts of coins.
If you look at localbitcoins.com , the people who are buying bitcoins most probably have more that atleast 1BTC.
Just to name, escrow.ms and Ashish12 would be having bitcoins worth lakhs.

Safe to say all those who have been here before March 2013 (when the Cyprus boom happened) would have a few BTCs at the minimum. They used to cost a few thousand then.
