Hello all, I have just started Dogecoin mining. I'm also about to join fast-pool because I think that's the best option for me right now. This stuff is all very new and interesting to me.

Been mining for a month at about 3.2 Mhs for Litecoin and trying to set up Dogecoin, but the wallet won't encrypt.  Seems to be a huge pain in the a@@ to get it set up.  Anyone have thoughts on which Doge pool to jump in?

Mining = Not profitable anymore, try other coins, doge and those little new ones..

So it seems. One of the reasons to look into primecoin as well in my case, haven't looked into the others much yet.

Started mining sometime in 2012, but have had a break because the processing power was needed for animation rendering.

I've picked up mining again lately, with an increasing interest also in primecoin.

Other than that I'm thinking of adding BTC as payment option for a service I'm developing. We'll see how that turns out, though.

Started a week ago with 1.5 Mh, becoming slightly concerned with the dropping profitability... Using middlecoin for now, will try hashcows as soon as they are up again Smiley

I started just over a month ago on scrypt and currently on about 220 MH/s

I also just picked up a few AntMiner U1's and currently running about 4.6 GH/s on SHA coins.

Time to save up some coins so i can trade/sell them to get some more hardware to earn myself more Smiley

I'm mining @ 2350 Khs.  Been Doing lotto and dogecoin lately, thinking about mining RPC soon.  Lottocoin is easy to make and sell.  Quick twenty bucks a day after electricity and fees and stuff.  Not sophisticated enough to manipulate these small coin markets like others who spend 8-10 BTC do.  But they keep the coins profitable for smaller fish.  20 bucks a day ain't a lot.. but $600 a month ain't so bad.  Hope the joke coins keep coming!

As soon as ASIC for scrypt kicks in i will switch to something ASIC resistant. Would love to see a coin that uses our CPU power for something benefitial, but something truly benefitial, not like finding primenumbers. Something like finding cancer cure.

You should have a look at Gridcoin

(the site looks a bit weird at the moment, just scroll down)

I'm mining for two weeks now, switched between 6 different coins and made some btc doing it. I just happended to have 6950 which is a fine videocard. Thinking of directly buying some btc when the price is down again.
