I would enjoy if most online games would collaborate with crypto but sadly to the other gaming company such as Steam, they've stopped collaborating with Bitcoin because they can't take the risk of volatility and its fees. I bet most Chinese uses cryptocurrency as a payment for their games when buying it or I could be wrong.

Awaiting when it can happen and pubg and crypto currency collaborate with each other making this space more wider and all the enthusiastic of games will start playing more and more and this will generate more money for the game owners .

PubG is most addictive game over the world in last few years. I am damn if the enable the UC purchase with the crypto then they may sell it faster than the cash payment.

Next to that I wish any of good gambling site should run the PubG tournament on their site. They may pay via BTC or ETH for the top 3 team in each game. Then crypto may capture people.

I hope any gambling site will love my idea and enable it soon. Cheers.
In past Steam already open payment via Bitpay to deposit on their wallet. But maybe not much people to use it or maybe Bitpay itself already closed for now. Maybe if want to top up UC can be done with bitcoin/ crypto, different price and tax between fiat in each country can be reduced.

I think Steam is not completely a gaming company but a distributor of games online. It's a better definition of Steam. Maybe they are just scared that people get to cheat their system or something like that or it won't be effective enough to boost their sales. We can never be sure unless a representative shares their opinion.

PubG was the fastest growing game possibly of all time, certainly for a self made new comer rather then a release as part of a series by a major studio perhaps like GTA.    Its lost part of its lead now because other games have copied its game type and used it on their own game engines.   I guess there was a question of whether they had a copyright on that type of game play and setup but I guess its been established that any developer can use something similar and I think more then half a dozen have.

Even after that fragmentation of the player base, they still have many players and definitely large enough for anyone to target with crypto use for trading or betting as suggested here I think.   I still think only professional games will qualify for a stable enough base to betting.   Its not a bad idea but I've seen it attempted many years ago

First of all, PUBG is not the most addictive game in the last few years. There are many other games such as League of Legends or Fortnite with a bigger crowd behind them. I think that a gaming industry as a whole can be beneficial for the cryptocurrency industry as gamers are exposed to the internet and more familiar with the process of buying crypto.

Steam enabled Bitcoin payment option back in past year but they had eventually remove it later on due to fee problem and with volatility specially into those times where bull run happen on 2017.
Fees sore up and they do see this as a headache. When it comes to purchases then you can still possibly do such thing. On my situation there are wallet providers which you can directly load up on steam.

For gaming aspect/tournaments.It would still take time to have this collaboration.
This is the concern, since the price are really volatile the fees are also getting higher and its hard to transact online if this problem continue to rise in the future. This can be a good idea, but yes more time for this before they see the solution, cryptocurrency will hit every market for sure.
I didn't know that Steam had an option a while back that accepted BTC. I would've totally supported it, I wonder why it's not back? I think the volatility is what makes it more interesting, it either goes up or goes down, depends on the trend.

I agree that its the most addictive game because its so catchy. I used to play also for months, i just quit when i started to have my own business and becomes very busy. Just to purchase guns or skins using BTC is hype, what more if the winning team and the bests would be paid with crypto.

Ask HeroSphere to host betting on PubG if you really are keen on those games and think its viable.   I expect you'd have greater success in that request if you are attached to a betting group and have a few dozen bettors wanting to use the platform also.

The company has a thread in the alt tokens section as they launched last year, I did suggest they start a thread in gambling section now as they happen to be all about betting on esports.   As yet this genius has not found them willing to announce games here but they handle DOTA LOL and CSGO games presently

I hope any gambling site will love my idea and enable it soon. Cheers.

You can start a competition here for a change. Smiley Player vs Player. Set your terms and ask the community for suggestions.

I did that before in Mobile Legends and Im planning to re-open it after analyzing some things. I also saw a Clash Royale match here.

I see that kind of tournament will not be implemented on a crpyto gambling site unless a standalone crypto gambling site just for that will be open by the game developers itself.

I have never been good with PUBG but it seems like one of the best games that I haven't seen listed on bookies since I have friends who have been playing professionally. Running a tournament like that's being run by a casino seems also a good idea. They can cut some percentage of total pool depending on how much they will collect through participants. Someone here can also manage this kind of tournament and you just need to be patient managing it for the very first time.

It depends on what could be done with it. I mean they basically have their own currency at the expense of buying or selling items and keys and cases and whatever but considering both PUBG declining because of fortnight and now apex and considering they are already tied to steam (which you can use regular fiat but no crypto) I think it wouldn't be a smart advertisement for them. They need a ton more stuff to make them money instead of changing the way how to accept money.

The focus for PUBG right now is to get the hype back on and get people to spend money on the game they already bought, game is basically free, you are paying hundreds of dollars for a skin for your weapon and that is it. Crypto currency wouldn't be the direction that would help them at all, it wouldn't make any difference to the game itself.

I am currently playing a lot of PubG during my spare time, and I wouldn't mind playing it a couple of hours a day. It's not that I'm addicted to it, but I really enjoy it due to its non-repetitive scenarios in the game. Sure, there are repeating steps like where you would go, etc. but the fact that you wouldn't expect that there would be an enemy hiding or the challenge that you need to overcome to have that sweet Chicken Dinner that everyone wants.

I wanted to play now, but it's currently on maintenance. If it were to accept crypto for UC, it would have more exposure to the crypto users and also the PubG players and more people would be checking out cryptocurrencies.

it has been discussed many times in the past regarding gambling p2p on games like CSGO ( and now PUBG )

but the majority agreed that it's too much of a work to do since the revenues will most likely be tiny due to low amount of people interested
also you can never know if you are playing against cheaters , I mean some people just cheat to increase their rank and brag about it so what do you think if a cheater finds a way that he can makes money cheating  Smiley

and regarding adding crypto payments to PUBG then don't expect that to happen unless the founders are already interested in crypto , people are overestimating the sales that may happen if crypto was added

Yeah, I agree. Not many people on steam were using crypto when it was up and with the volatility it brought to the table, it wasnt worth it for them to just please a fringe section of their player base. About the cheaters, PUBG has introduced a new anti-cheating system along with Vikendi. Which has managed to ban over 30,000 users from cheating and the list also includes 16 pro players accounts. The new-anti cheating software takes care of the Radar hacks.

I thought this was a reference to trading the cosmetic skins on digital items for crypto, that would make sense to me.  Crypto goes well with digital items, both being instant delivery and a good balance to enabling trade.
For the actual gameplay and results then no, it cant be done below a professional level unfortunately because not all players and games would be legitimate.    For the really professional games then I'd hope for more crypto coverage, like I do for csgo and many games

Unique games easily reach common people, but just using cryptocurrencies into the games won't make more users get into the game. As of now limited people have known about cryptocurrency, and these kind of collaboration can be used on special promotions or special events that's been conducted at some time interval around the globe. Already we've got some games that pay tokens on winning on play store. Even those are very less used.

I have seen a lot of players were trying to buy google gift cards for purchasing UC. I think crypto payment option would be a great edition. I for one would spend a little for purchasing UC.

Me too love that idea and if pubg team takes such action then we will find the best reach for the crypto alone I believe. Because number of users for the android and PC is big numbers. To say exactly it is over the population of one country.
This will spread the bitcoin all over the world and even the layman will come to what is bitcoin and its uses. This kind of adoption always makes some revolution moment. Hopefully anyone will make that possible in future.

Enabling crypto payments won't sell their game faster it could increase but it won't be significant because not a lot of people are spending their crypto.
Actually, the idea of OP is great and interesting though but when it comes into this case, that most likely people won't spend their crypto, and they preferred on holding with it. But at least this is will contribute to crypto mass adoption and will help the market growth.

Is this the gambling site as what they mean that eSports betting game on Pubg? https://esportbetting.eu/games/pubg
Ain't fan on this game but I'm interesting of accepting crypto.

When we implement something like this it could also paves way for increasing the adoption because it is one of the games were played most most players even more than the availability of bitcoin and most of them are young so will ready to accept cryptos.
