2012-2016 I heard it probably like a hundred times. Laughed at the idea back then.
2016-since I've been hearing it more rarely. Ironically, I'm now saying it.
Not die necessarily but I think its best days are over.

Most of the time the issue of bitcoin was killed can hear many times as long as the market falls or crash. This matter is not new in the boundary of crypto. Anyway, bitcoin cannot be denied strong and will be in the future with the meaningful altcoins handling and leading the market. Bitcoin is difficult to overkill.

True, they could be disappointing. Sometimes they make things worse by exaggerating and adding drama feeling in the news. Bitcoin will not just die that easily because dying means everyone abandoning btc which unlikely gonna happen. There will be people who will hodl and continue to hodl until the price pump again.

If I'm not mistaken bitcoin were killed many many times and yet until now it is circulating. That means no matter how many times threads and accusations that bitcoin is dead it will be the same FUD. If bitcoin is dead, then, supposed, it wasn't in cryptosphere.

If I could get a Satoshi every time some one said this to me, I could be a millionaire today. I remember right from my first day in bitcoins till current date, all I can hear is bitcoins is going to die, your investments are doomed. These are the same people that'll scream the stock market is crashing, and then will end up buying at high prices and indulge in panic sales when it crashes again. I'll agree most of the things will never happen, as these are often based on fud, not fundamental research hence you should not pay much attention to them.

I have been hearing that bitcoin was going to go into extinction ever since I joined crypto.
Yet bitcoin is still here and even waxing stronger by the day.... despite the recent price blung.
As a matter of fact , I believe bitcoin is still in it's early developmental stage and so we should expect huge growth in no distant time.

I heard about bitcoin going to die in many times in many places. I think it's because some people don't have optimistic for the bitcoin to gets up and reach the highest price, so they are telling other people that bitcoin will go to die soon. And if they realize about bitcoin will stay with us for a long time, I don't think that they will judge bitcoin will die and even they will support bitcoin no matter if the price is getting down. They need to think twice before they say like that and I think they need to see what is going on in the market.

The real era of Bitcoin did not even start yet, it will start within the next few years when cryto adoption rate will increase significantly and some more regulations will take place.

today many people are panicking, and don't want to miss selling their assets when BTC still has a price
who knows the future about bitcoin is only 5%, they are whales and also God
while 95% of them are just guessers armed with luck gambling for the future
it could also be that viral bitcoin will die, aiming to make everyone panic
