I make around USD$20 per week in BTC from my bitcoin faucet rotator. Vast majority of that comes from advertising, while around USD$3 comes from faucet referrals. If I had a lot more resources to do social marketing etc, it could be even more. My VPS server costs USD$5 per month, and the domain costs around USD$10-15 per year to renew.

It all depends how popular your sites becomes. If you get a million users and you are paying 200 Satoshi's per hour.... then you can do your own

calculations. { very over simplified example, but you get the idea } Freebitco.in has 4,394,065 registered users, but my guess is.. only 10% of

those might be "active" users... or even way less. Operating a faucet is a science and you need to balance income and expenses very accurately to

survive in that scene.  Wink { Do not pay people once... and they leave }

I agree to your point . Freebitco is very Old site and is runing quiet well for number of years now That suggests that if management is good , faucet can be very profitable business .

It would not surprise me that the biggest faucets out there make at least 0,1BTC per day if not more. I think this is a very profitable business if done the right way.

0.1btc per day is good amount . But I think it requires great efforts to reach to that level .

faucet business very very competitive, the owner must creative in manage for interesting many visitor (guest and member).
Like freebitco.in, this site make creativity management with reward point program, so it can be interest to many visitor. Other creativity, with expanding program with multiply btc, survey point, or other more offer

I was also thinking of some survey offers or signup offers in faucets/website . This will attract more members and hence more active members and Visitors to the site is Possible .

Faucets are dead without Google Adsense.

This is not true, you just have to think outside the box. I am making a decent profit with my faucets without Adsense. I have 4 different streams of revenue on each and it does quite well. Not enough to live off of, but enough for some supplemental income  Wink

It would be great if you can share some ideas in this Post or You can pm with Your experience on how you are managing This .

If you want to include owners of bitcoin faucet rotator websites, I usually make anywhere between 150K and 250K satoshis per week (0.0015 to 0.0025 BTC). It has taken me a long time to get to this point, and those amounts are very small.

Depending on marketing efforts, I can make anywhere between 0.002 to 0.007 BTC additional per week from advertising (using MellowAds). The amount I earn from ads very rarely gets over 0.007 BTC per week, but I have already made 0.011 BTC in the last 7 days.

I earn enough to pay for hosting, domain and email renewal, and some advertising via MellowAds and A-Ads.

So to answer your question (if you accept answers from rotator site owners), I can get a total anywhere between 0.0035 and 0.0135 per week.

0.0135 per week from the faucets is good amount as the price of Btc is High . If we can make and manage 4-5 Unique faucets then I think good amount can be made through all Faucets .

Faucets seldom earn the owners much.  The profit margins are extremely small because it's very competitive - faucet users mainly only care about which ones have the highest payouts and since you can't even use AdSense it's quite hard to earn enough money to pay the satoshi.  Sometimes faucets even scam that tiny amount of money off of their users.

If you're lucky you could get a few Bitcoin per year with a lot of maintenance.

Thanks for Sharing Your experience . I think we have to be unique to earn Much from faucets sites .

1. i am not so sure about the capital but it shouldn't be anything bigger than 0.1BTC.
2. Adsense is always the best way of getting paid for banner ads but it does NOT allow faucets and it will close down your account if they find out. you need to stick to smaller places that also pay in bitcoin like a-ads.
3. not much. faucet job is both bad for users using it and the faucet owners since not that may people visit faucets and the ad payment is not that fancy either.

That's, comparing to the efforts you put in, lets say the hosting, programming, configuring, and all that kind of stuff, pretty low. Is it all that saturated already?

I am not a fan of PTC sites due to moral matter.
As a website owner I don't like PTC traffic, since it's useless traffic 99% of the time. People do PTC so they get money from the PTC sites and not the sites they're visiting through PTC service.

I've never ran a PTC service, so I don't know. But, rule of the thumb. If you work hard enough, you'll see good results.

Hello Friends ,

I am Interested In making a faucet so Just wanted to Know how to get started .

so am just having few queries

Quote
1. How much capital is required to Operate a successful faucets ..?
As much possible. You never know how many people you'll approach on launch. The more the better.

Quote
2. what is the best way to Monetize it Like Adsense or any Other source ..?
Avoid adsense, you'll eventually get banned, in case they approve your site. Aim for bitcoin ad networks which pay as soon as possible. This is the most important.

Quote
3. How Much can be made per day with good marketing Efforts ..?
This can't be answered by anyone, since the results vary a lot. You'll be competing with a lot of old and new faucets.
Be happy with whatever you get. You can only start earning more and more if you're working hard and being honest with your users.

Quote
If You have any experience In faucets Please share as it would be helpful for many entrepreneurs .
Do not allow traffic exchanges on your sites. They'll be hammering your server. Users who send traffic exchange hits don't understand that people who browse traffic exchanges they're doing it to earn money from the traffic exchanges, not the sites they browse.

Quote
Thanks

Thanks For Your Input .

What Do you think about PTC site In Bitcoin . It seems to be good option .

Thanks Everyone for your valuable Input .

So with majority of answers in negative , I think its not a good option to Open a Faucets .

What about PTC sites like clixsense or neobux if we can open In Bitcoin , It will be good for targeted Marketing in Bitcoin Niches .

Although we cant reach to the level to clixsense and neobux quickly as they are leaders , atleast we can start concept Like that and with proper marketing we can compete with them .

Please share Your ideas on this also .

Thanks

It is actually quite surprising how much traffic some faucet sites get.  Freebitco.in has an alexa rating of 1,743 - shockingly high, really.

Most of their traffic will be coming from poorer countries where the winnings from the faucet do actually mean something and aren't just pure dust - alexa says that 10.2% of traffic is from India, 8.4% from Russia, 8% from Brazil, 4.8% from Iran and 4.1% from Venezuela.

Anyway, running faucets is expensive and difficult - Freebitco.in for example are clearly pretty desperate for money, which is why they have dice games, talk about the opportunity to win a jackpot all the time and have long-term savings accounts.  It's really not worth it.

That is a special faucet, operating since 2013, they were alive when the BTC faucets were strong and Adsense was permissive. They made their reputation on that time and grew as the main faucet of the internet. The Dice game helped a lot, as faucet users tried to increase their earnings by playing "safe mode" Dice game. In the end, more profit for FreeBitco.in.

With the rank they have, I would say that is the strongest faucet we have alive and that resisted menaces that could kill (and killed) another faucets. However I don't think a copy of FreeBitco.in could be successful also.

There are free scripts of faucets soo you can use them you will need around 0,10 btc to start accordingly your reward.
Adsense doesnt support faucet anymore, soo if they see the traffic comes from them they will suspend your account or cut the earnings from it, there are some networks paying well, the best of them i believe is mellowads(200k traffic rank only).
The how much you can make daily well it will be always changes, it can be 40k satoshis as can reach 300k satoshis, but be aware this arent the right numbers as i dont have any faucet, but there is a huge competition and the most faucets are closing, since they cant balance the rewards with the income they getting.

Faucet owners mainly get their money from advertisements, ads which is mainly connected through their adsense account. If they are able to attract a lot of traffic through signature campaign and good quality marketing ,they will  be getting more than 30 btc in a month,no doubt about that.well its seems impossible, but it is not.
