try this calculator http://www.alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator.php

I got a hd6990 so i'm getting about .4 btc per day

I switched my 6990`s off due to power consumption and switched to FPGA mining. HW from different vendors
currently 3,8 GHps at approx 240 W
That equals around 2 BTC per day

BTW: what is your opinion on deepbit ? I choose that pool, just because it was the biggest but if someone has better experiences, just let me know

some days I get .001 btc and others 10 btc

through referral links
and small no brainer currency trades (find a low and high market, buy from the low one transfer and sell high).  I know someone has made a bot for this.  But am surprised by the differences still out there, I should try to make my own.

1 USD a day

Give a man a fish and he can eat for a day ...

So, that's near the gross revenue.

What you'ld also want to factor in is the cost of the electricity.   The card itself, not including the rest of the rig,, consumes, oh 160W.  Using national residential average (U.S.) power cost of $0.15 per kWh, you'll see about 0.17 BTC earned (worth $1.15 USD at the current exchange rate) and pay 0.9 BTC ($0.58) of that in electricity.

Of course, your electric consumption includes power supply, mobo, display, etc.,

You'll want to carefully consider your cost of electricity as this configuration could easily be mining at a loss (or at best a miniscule profit).
