About $0.12 per kWh, fixed regardless of how much I use.  I live in Virginia USA.  I also have 20kWh solar system, so before I started mining, I was using and consuming right around 2,000 kWh per month, so I only had to pay a $30 a month "basic fee".  Now that I'm mining, I'm using closer to 4,000 kWh per month.  So I guess in a way you could say that my overall cost is $0.06 kWh since my solar is able to supply 50% of my overall consumption.

I live in South Florida.  I pay roughly 0.12 cents per kw/h after including all of the taxes and surcharges.  I think my official rate is something like .08 kw/h.

My utility provider always boasts about how they are the among the most affordable utility provider in the US but I see others in the US that pay quite a bit lower.  I actually rarely see anyone say they pay more.  It would hurt more had I not been a shareholder of my utility (NEE).

Somewhere between 0.22 and 0.23USD/kW on average, got "dual" costs like the poster above, it's cheaper during the night in the week and during the day on the week-end. I'm from Switzerland.

Fuck me right?  Cry

Got about 6kWh worth of solar panel on the roof though, which is nice.

Gone phishing...
like the title says, i knew there was one thread before but since the mining will be changed in few months since eth switch to pos, wanted to make an update on it
i currently pay 0.025$ per kw how much is yours and do you think its worth mining?

Just to be clear, power (kW) != energy (kWh, kJ, etc.)

Many people have their power rate set in tiers, for example, $0.07/kWh for the first 100 kWh, then $0.09 for the next 100 kWh, etc. This makes it difficult to justify whether or not a mining rig in one's home contributes to the "first" or "second" pricing tier, or any specific one. The estimated average cost is a decent indicator, though.

Having said that, I usually pay around $0.08 per kWh in eastern WA.

Bitcoin FTW!
I pay about .065$/kW in NW Pennsylvania in the US. The weather's nice and cool in the winter as well, great weather for mining. Never gets too hot most of the time either, compared to SC where I had to pay .10$/kW and deal with 100 degree temps during the summer.

"In a few months" has been said for close to a year now.

I'm playing $0.12 and it's absolutely worth it.
