Honestly, I'm surprised he hasn't taken up this offer. I've never once heard of anyone paying more than 105 BTC for one of these bars so 120 BTC is definitely a strong offer. OP consider this option truly, probably best offer you'll receive for awhile if you're looking to sell it soon.

I've gone to your website and reloaded the site at least 20 times since you said this. I wanted to know the truth or if I got tricked. All of the people in the photos that pops up when you go to the homepage are women, which makes me believe you really are a rich BTC owner that is female...I hope I'm right my ego's sake.

Also OP I talked to my uncle who was interested in buying one of these bars, Michail's offer is higher then what his would have been.

Oh she is hot for sure..have seen the nudes. If she bids 120BTC it is for realz.

Don't think many people have that much BTC to just spend on a bar.
I guess you'll probably get the most holding and waiting for a collector. Alternatively, redeem it and sell the bar. May not be a wise idea long term though.

100 BTC is 100 BTC.

The bearer bar was a blank bar (like a piggy bank) - no funded value. YOU fund the bar using the public address by putting coins in it.
Those bars go for about 1BTC (approx). So, if you fund it with 100BTC, then it would have a value of about 101BTC

The 100BTC bar was a bar manufactured (stamped/embossed) with 100 BTC on the face. There is only so many left (69 currently). So, way more rare.
This bar already contains 100BTC when Casascius produced/shipped them. Because they are rare, they are worth more.

In either case, you would pull the sticker to redeem the private key and the coins contained within which would lose the premium price of the bar itself.

The picture in the prior posting is of 3 bars. 1 is a 100 BTC bar, while the other 2 are the piggybank style. Of course the picture is prior to Casascius having put on the security stickers.

If it's simply a bearer bar loaded with 100BTC, then it is worth 100.8BTC to me.
If it's a 100BTC bar, then it's worth way more than that. Since the OP hasn't chimed in, I am guessing this is a dead thread or simply a bearer bar. Either case, if I had a post with 100BTC in either type of bar, I would be replying. Hint. (Sending JohnK pictures doesn't answer the original question. Sad

100btc bars are rare. i only see serious collectors with those. op doesn't seem so serious.
