With all the controversy and demonetization happening on Youtube right now, I know many You tubers are facing a huge decrease in their advertisement revenues. I think this is very unfortunate as this stifles creativity and makes it harder for producers to do what want. While I cannot blame the advertisers, producers or Youtube itself, I do hope that this problem can be resolved in the near future.

Depends on how popular you become. If you look at the most popular one, pewdiepie, he makes millions per year.

For the average person, I'd say a few thousand per year should be doable. But also depends on how much time you spend on it.

Keep in mind that lately it's extra hard to make a video that is both popular and you can monetize it. They've been deeming videos left and right as unfit for advertising and therefore even huge and adored youtubers like H3H3 for example can't make enough for a living. Especially if you're a comedy channel it's borderline impossible to come up with stuff that's good and at the same time isn't offensive to anyone or anything.

I heard people get paid about 7 bucks per 1000 views,

I also heard they get paid a lot less now because of adblock

I've been using adblock for a couple years, and have never seen seen an ad for a couple years on youtube

i really don't care if people don't make money because im using ad block,

i do though, disable adblock on websites i like, but never yotube, mainly because theres no option to disable it for certain youtube channel,

plus i hate ads,

when youtube first started that, that was when it was easy to bring in cash, now its getting harder and harder,

i read also, since april that you need at least 10,000 views in order to monetize your videos

i thought about making videos but im not sure of what, and i definitely don't want to do "pranks" those people are idiots

i would much rather do teaching videos, or useful videos,

but i have nothing good to teach, its makes me sad

Are you make a living on Youtube? How many views we need in order to earn a decent money on Youtube?
It depends on the quality of your video to be qualified in payment. Regarding to the views, there is no spefic views to earn money there. However, getting more subscriber will give you earnings aside from the views.

it depends on how many people views ur video.link ur youtube account with adsense and you will be able to earn a lot of profit through adsense if you get a lot of traffic in ur videos and with the right kind of marketing.

Making money on Youtube is beautiful, but you absolutely lose your privacy. At a certain age, it's okay, but with partner, children, this can be a problem. Man never knows when Youtube may end, so it's always better to have a normal job.

Besides that, you need to put on a greater amount of work into making those videos and for them to be entertaining, well done and informative. It's a double edge sword, it can backfire anytime and may not even take off and with todays youtube situation, it's getting harder and harder to make money or yet alone make a living from youtube.

Yes, it's very hard work. People need to be interested in something. In addition, you need to constantly advertise your channel. And for this you need to invest money. I'm not sure if it's profitable

Well yes, picking the topic is the hardest part but if you're interested in that topic(s), you'll be doing it and it would not seem as a work so you'l probably work, have fun and earn some money. Also, marketing and channel promoting is one of the bigger aspects of making money on youtube. It can be profitable but it could take time until it takes off.

Now it is very difficult to come up with something interesting and make money on YouTube. Mostly those who started from the very beginning make money.

It's very hard to get over the initial hump to start making money.  Once your channel gets some traction then things will be easier if you wan't to start making money on YouTube.

If you want to earn money on youtube you need more sibscriber so those subscriber after you upload your video their see the notification or click to watch. Tghe adsense pay every 1000 views I think 3-5 dollars per 1000 views but it depends on the rate your channel. The artist for sure earn millions of dollars every upload of video like justine bieber and psy. Im not youtube but I know how it is works. I tried to become youtube before but Im failed because I only watch my video no one tried to watched it.

Are you make a living on Youtube? How many views we need in order to earn a decent money on Youtube?
It is very hard to tell as most people don't earn much money from ad revenue, instead they earn most of their money through sponsorships. That's where the big money is at.

You're right. Now it is very difficult to make money on Youtube. We need to develop our channel so that it becomes very popular with a large number of subscribers. It is very difficult. I tried, but I did not succeed
