Satoshi is rolling in his grave. #bitcoin
I sold a part of funds at 375$ , still waiting for the price to find a new bottom. Anyways, it doesn't matter to me if we go to 200 or to 500, it's all the same in the long run.
tbh i would prefer lower prices so that i have more time to accumulate more bitcoins..

I made 1.4 btc profit by selling in the 340 - 370 range.

Could have made more if hashnest had implemented their 2FA right.

I didn't sell anything (still HODLING my bag) so I neither made nor lost anything.

Much of the same. I wanted to do something with my bitcoins when it hit the $400 margin, but was too hesitant to try anything with it.

Who was going to know when the bubble would pop?

Pretty much this. One of these times, it won't pop, until it gets well over the previous ATH. Maybe you got lucky this past mini-bubble, maybe next time you won't.

I kept holding my coins. Even when the price reached $500. I won't sell some of them unless it is at least +$700. That's when I will start with securing profits. I will definitely not sell everything, only 20-30% at most.

I haven't traded during the recent bubble, so in Bitcoin terms - 'HODL' was what I did. I remember one of my friends informed me to lock my Bitcoins by converting them into USD on uphold when the price was around 470 USD for a Bitcoin, but I didn't go ahead with that. I don't feel I have lost anything, but infact I've gained some form of appreciation in the value of my Bitcoin, which still holds.

Personally I ended up making a modest $200+ profit.  Cheesy

I really shouldn't tarde Bitcoin.

Far too twitchy, emotional, and reactionary, so even when I too spot a good trade, the market is likely to taunt me out of it and even have me doing the exact opposite trade on a whim, as opposed to the original trade which I spent 45 minutes scanning over charts and momentum indicators before making. It is frustrating sitting on sidelines, looking at charts and being able to spot moves, but knowing that as soon as I throw a bit play money into the game, I am likely to start pissing hundreds of bucks all over the shop.

I know that feeling, the idea that in just a few hours the sell price would be much higher and so you postpone a really good trade, just to find out the market crashed an hour later. Happened to me a lot of times when I was still trading alts. Nowadays I try to be objective in trading, I set a %profit acceptable and stick to that.

I also cashed out at $350, thinking it was the peak, then the following days it went almost to $500. Still happy with it though.

I sold way too early on the way up, and tried to make it up by doing leveraged long trades, which believe it or not I fucked up with thanks to Krakens über clunky trading platform, and then exasperated with it all, after a bit of time out due to rage issues, I bought back in at $390. Sat staring at $500 BTC; absolutely point bank refusing to cash out, and watched in disbelief throughout the whole crash (I mean $360 downwards)....very nearly sold at $360, but some voice in my head said "No Matthew, you are making the same mistakes as you have made so many times before", so at $300, I again decide to take a leveraged long to compensate for losses....but started bottling it on the retest, which really did look as though it was going to plunge even further, so I was in and out, spraying pish all over my legs, and even took an emotionally reactionary short, right at the very bottom of the market, before I came to my senses (although this is the one trade that I exited with a profit).

I have been bullish on Bitcoin since mid 2015, I bought BTC back then, and had pretty much just been sitting on them until this manufactured pump.

So, thanks to my tarding, I have 1 BTC less than I would have if I opted just to leave it the fuck alone, and I were to cash out now, I would be down about €2K. But I aint going to cash out now, obviously.

I really shouldn't tarde Bitcoin.

I took profits at $365 with a good $1500 profit + I made around 1.2BTC with day trading during the high volume days. I am more than happy with the results. If there will be another rally, then I welcome it to show up again  Cheesy

I sold at the top and made an immodest $100k+ profit. I figure the next bubble will buy me a house. Cool

And the spikes aren't even over yet, maybe you can buy another car with what's happening.  Grin
