You should only invest the amount which is affordable for you to lose but you should choose your coin based on some factors like long term or short term and the altcoin or bitcoin.
Basically altcoin bit expensive now so if you want to make huge money your investment capital also should be huge or you can invest on the some potential altcoin which also has good future like bitcoin had so we can make huge profit from less investment, but nothing in the crypto field can give guaranteed return so we should invest our saving money only here.

The question of how much to invest depends on many factors:

1. how much liquid wealth you have in the form of stocks bonds and cash
2. whether you own a home
3. whether you have a stable income from a job
4. risk tolerance of the investor and emotional makeup

Lets make some assumptions for investor A
1. $100K portfolio of which $40K is stocks, $20K bonds and $40K in cash
2. $85K in home equity
3. stable job at a utility company, earns $40K a year

I would argue Investor A could invest 5% to 10% of his liquid wealth into crypto and not worry too much about the 100% annualized volatility or $5,000 to $10,000.

Now investor B has an the same wealth, but double the income at $80K. Arguably this investor can replace losses faster so they can invest at least 5% more than investor A.

There were no money that is fixed for you to invest in bitcoin or in other cryptocurrencies. Even a single 100 usd can make a difference but remember that it is always dependant on your strategy.

How much money you invest in bitcoin that is dependent on how much money you have I think. Because somebody has huge money he can start by a huge amount, and somebody doesn't have like him so obviously, he should start invest by low amount. So I want to say you to invest about 10% money from your holding money. And if you feel its so low then you change the invest amount little bit. I don't recommend people to invest all of holding money in bitcoin.

I think that right now is a good option to invest. Lately, the Bitcoin  value have a prevision to grow very hopely

In my opinion, the bitcoin price is stable, it is unlikely that the bitcoin will continue to increase or the bitcoin will decrease. There is no market fluctuation. If today buy bitcoin and hold us afraid that in the next few weeks bitcoin prices will continue to decrease. But if anyone is patiently holding on to the future. I think bitcoin prices will rise sharply in the long term.

I often get asked privately if Bitcoin is worth an investment. My answer is a whopping yes….invest your time.
The price fluctuation of Bitcoin is certainly fascinating, but how cryptocurrencies (and blockchain, more on that soon) will affect you, your job, your business, and humans collectively is far more lucrative.
The financial (and in turn, geopolitical) institutions are about to go through what the media (music, books, TV, newspapers, cinema) industry went through since the rise of social media during the past decade.
Your investment in time learning about blockchain uses will far outweigh the investing of your $ € ¥ £ etc..

Cryptocurrency greatly effect the life and lifestyle of many people nowadays.  Through the aid of blockchain technology, it ranked up the technology to the next level.  Cryptocurrency changes many lives of people by giving them chance to earn money through mining, investing, trading or joining different campaigns.  Many people invest only the amount they can afford to lose but for me, it is more practical that instead of just saving money in banks or at home, it is better to invest all your savings.  This is because your savings has the potential to increase as much as or more than 100%.

For me i can invest only for about 20%-30% of money. Because investing in bitcoin is so risky but it is helpful.

How is investing in bitcoin being considered as "helpful"? Does it "help" anybody in any way? That would be a wrong term to use if you ask me. Risky yes but not as risky as investing in altcoins. One can buy bitcoin at low price and hodl for a period of 1-2 years and then sell it or set a stop/loss goal and sell when it rises.

I would invest something that im willing to risk because investing to bitcoin is taking risk. Its hard to invest when you dont have enough to give.

You mean to say you dont have enough money to invest in? Then I would like to know how you came to waste your time in this forum? You should be doing something else trying to earn money in real life then post in this forum. Grin

When talking about Investment, I think everyone agreed to invest what you afford to lose. If you don't know how much, then I suggest you to invest about 20%-30% of your money. And don't ever put all of your saving to invest.

30% of money may be high for some of the people, particularly who is not a risk taker. So first they can start with 5 to 10% of their savings to invest on these high-risk cryptos but slowly they can increase if they like it but should learn to book profits now and then otherwise may lose suddenly a lot of money if markets crash and need to wait for very long to see profits again.

I think that investing in bitcoin and altcoins is good to generate income in the future. But it should be borne in mind that investing in cryptocurrencies involves great risks. So I'm not investing all my money, but just a fraction, like, 40%. And of course, I constantly monitor price changes and news

I think there will be no specific investment, depending on the economic circumstances of each person. I use the free money, to invest in the crypto market. I know that the crypto market is a lot of risk, we can not foresee. Getting all the capital to invest in crypto can cost you a penny. That is my own opinion.

How much amount should be vary from person to person because not all the people have same economic standard, but the important thing is that we need to invest the money which is affordable to lose for you because there no guarantee that bitcoin will give guaranteed return.

I have also been asked many times such a question.People want to invest but aren't so sure how much to start with.Nothing can be too small i tell them but i also quickly add that you should invest an amount you can afford to lose because of the extreme price volatility. In any case the good news is with patience you can recover what you lose during price dumps

Exactly, what ever the investment you are choosing that should not effect your personal life because Bitcoin price is voltaile is is huge. So we have to wait until the price of Bitcoin increases. Sometime your investment will go lower value but don't loose your patience and don't sell them for loses.

I invest only what i can afford to lose because investing bitcoin are so risky. It is not a problem if you invest small or big amount, the important is whatever will happen into your investment you have no regrets win or lose.
I think you should invest 30% of the money you have into bitcoin and see if that is your savings for the future. In the next few years, I believe that bitcoin will grow so strong that you can buy bitcoin now because at present bitcoin is quite cheap.
