Usually the affect is only for short term, many FUD that spread and it's only affect for short term. News really influence market sentiments sometimes it makes me fear when the news is bad. I am still thrust to bitcoin because many experts said that this technology has good future.
The media does have a quite a large influence on the price of BTC. For instance, the news regarding ETF did cause a lot of chaos in the market.
In my opinion, the news has little effect on the price of Bitcoin.
Recently, news about the attitudes of various countries towards Bitcoin was continuously reported. For example, Russian police have confiscated Bitcoin ATMs nationwide; on September 5, 2018, Iran officially recognized Counting coins are legal, etc. Whether the news is good or bad, even if the news relates to whether Bitcoin is legal, it seems that the price of Bitcoin hasn’t been affected.
Moreover, BTC has frequently experienced large transfers recently; and as of July 2018, 4 million bitcoins were lost in the Bitcoin network and 2 million bitcoins were stolen. These events are enough to show how attractive Bitcoin is, and its price cannot be influenced just by some news.

Since investing in cryptocurrency is highly volatile and speculative, one big bad news can bring the price to go down, but what's really disappointing it takes a lot a run of big news to keep the price going up, but I believe even if there are so many bad news Bitcoin will still stay and move forward.
Lately I have noticed some good news and bad news about Bitcoin.
Many people think that bad news will make the price of Bitcoin "go down" and good news will make the price of Bitcoin "Rise".
So on this topic I would like to discuss "How much the power of news can affect the Bitcoin price?"

The power of news about bitcoin will indeed affect the price of bitcoin, but I still don't feel very effective, because if we only rely on the news to find out at least whether the price will go up or down to trade. I just feel that the market continues to be manipulated, as we now see, yesterday's increase has fallen back probably due to a correction. Many people think that bad news will make the price of Bitcoin "go down" and good news will make the price of Bitcoin "Rise".

I think this depends on the importance of the news. If the news is important whether good or bad it will have an effect on the price of bitcoin. Beside people are not so fool now. They can differentiate between legit and fake news.
Not all news has the power to have massive effect on bitcoin. News from big and authentic sources can do this from my opinion. And these things really cause the frequent fluctuations.
I think not only news source is the main reason behind the price fluctuations. How people respond on the news in also has a very big impact. Like fake news can do much hampers if it is widely believed and adapted.
From my view negative effects are much seen than positive effects. Because i think most of the people in the market are insecure about the volatility. Which leads them take bad decisions during crucial times.
Bitcoin is the digital currency that is not regulated by anyone. One may create an artificial market crisis and btc can rise anytime and yes like other factors news and media can affect Btc’s price.
News has great influence on the perspective of all individuals. Be it good or bad. If a media company broadcast a news about how bad a certain product is to few proportion of a population, you can trust that news will reach the entire population in no time, likewise good new. Therefore, in view of this i believe that news indeed has the power to make and unmake so many things. including bitcoin
Not again anymore, this use to happen before now when the positive news on btc will make the price to moon and such dont happen again because they are now so many people trying to manipulate the market on their favour.
I don't think any news is going to affect Bitcoin anymore. Everybody already knows about Bitcoin and all the related history about it from the previous news and there is nothing a serious problem in Bitcoin nowadays so I do not think that media is going to affect Bitcoins price anymore. Definitely not a problem for Bitcoin right now but if median really wants then they can actually control persons to join the network part 2 leave the network which can affect little but the population is too big and media cannot handle the pressure.
news has the great influence in the bitcoin price. it actually because of who are new in the market. if they heared any kind of news they get hyped and that effect fall in the market price.
Having carried out their own superficial analysis, news does not particularly affect the price.The thing is that there is always a government behind big media. And it will do everything to stay in profit. Therefore, manipulations are obvious.So news of course you need to know but do not put them for yourself as a guide
The power of news can affect the price of bitcoin in my own opinion 90% because many investors put the ears on what is coming new about bitcoin. if there is any bad news than market price will fall because everyone want to make profit that's why they should sell off.

Hey Capradina, everyone knows by now that BTC is highly volatile, even with a fairly stable price currently. The BTC price factor of the news is that it provides articles where people will buy or sell Bitcoin depending on it’s content, sending its value higher or lower accordingly. And so it will always be, news makes price manipulation
There is a lot of impact of news in terms of reducing or rising the price of Bitcoin. Because if the news is good or bad, its impact on those who want to invest. Bad news discourages investors and good news encourages investors.
I also believe that news can really affect bitcoin price movement but i think if it's just a nonsense one,it will not totally affect the price movement.News that will bring welfare to everyone is said to make the price increases into a new height while negative updates will surely make the price goes down in a more low price.
