Im currently mining Eth with an Acer Nitro 7 with a 1660 Ti getting 31 MH/s with +800 mem OC in Afterburner.

Now this laptop cost me about $650 a few months ago and is under warranty. I would have serious reservations about mining with a very expensive laptop or one not under warranty.

Since Eth is mostly mem heavy, the GPU only gets up to around 63C and could probably be lower but power limit is at 100% to get max hashrate. Only uses 80 watts anyway.

I think laptop mining is very feasible for those that have a laptop sitting around that they dont often use, like I do. Bought it for holiday travels, now its a miner.  I plan on mining with it for the foreseeable future until the warranty is up in about 9 months.

You can't get a answer unless you try yourself and drop details about it months later, no one dares use a laptop that's costly to mine crypto currency, it's going to kill the laptop faster than you think, laptop is not design for all the stress work a graphic card can go through

So I watched this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VC3f-5Agdpc about mining on a laptop with RTX 3060.

So how long will it take for the laptop to die?
