5MHASH@280x is possible with the public miner. create binaries with catalyst 14.6 rc1 or 14.6 rc1 for windows xp 32bit. Run sgminer 4.2 (x13/x15) version

Really? That's better than SGMiner 5. Interesting. Still sucks, but it's better.

"still sucks" lmao, how much your is doing?

Haha, around 6.9MH/s. Can't quite hit 7MH yet.

sgminer5 is pretty shitty.... (sgminer5 motto: lets  move everything around until it gets broken...   Grin what is wrong with you people ? Grin)
may-be it is easier to create multi-kernel kernels (will see if it works, or if I have to modify 10 others files...)

actually it would have been nice if they had ported cgminer algo... but they didn't...  Grin

may-be I missed the point, but I still don't understand why it was created... (msvc support is nice though...)

Probably for the algo-switching support, which is nice. CGMiner's code is pretty horrid, and I'm surprised anyone went near it to add shit.  Grin

that's the problem with sgminer, there is no way back (anymore)... it can only get worst...  Grin

LOL... I love the holiday card version they show in the picture link

my bad, 300 usd

No way man  Grin

I've almost 500MHs of X11 hash power and Im really think to sell all my rigs...   Angry
My hardware: R9280x and R9290x ~200GPU's...
Sorry dude...Its better trading than mining... This world its a Scam World and no longer profitable...

I hear you!

I've spent the last 2 months selling this off: http://s1242.photobucket.com/user/Ignition75/media/DSC_0008_zps4d33cb7e.jpg.html

Best move I ever made, invested all of it in cloud mining shares and I've already made ROI.

No more crazy electricity bills and I have my life back!

That is to low hashrate for this quantity. 280x gives more than 4,2 Mh\s

Wow that bonkers...LOL...I only had at max 4 rigs, that's 30 rigs....  Shocked

Even with Nvidia gpu's, it's not even close to marginally profitable, just lower power cost.....Unless the Nvidia card can get twice the hash power of the current output, then maybe it would be profitable.....

Definitely, crypto would has so many ponzi schemes that it make the actual crypto's trying to be legit suffer too...

You should take the advice of other and trade coins. Rigs are expensive and expensive to run and with rising difficulty ROI unlikely to happen. Take 300$ and buy the dark coins on the exchanges. You will get way more coins and no change in the electric bill. Seriously save you fiat $.

Your better off mining Burstcoin (Proof of Capacity), PoS mining (Snowballs, M coin, XQN, Hyperstake, etc), Gapcoin (cpu mine primes) and/or buying coins to invest. Only when x11/x13/x15 asic miners are out, will it be worth mining coins with x algos that will be available next year.

If I stuck a mining rig under my work desk and run it off company power, plus they bought the rig, will it be profitable mining DarkCoin?  Grin

Honestly though, I told our tech guy what I was doing and he said who cares, just keep doing what you do. I don't think they even know what a cryptocurrency is.

Prove it. Tongue

prove what?!  Huh

He doesnt need to prove nothing, it's pure math, do it yourself. Take the current DRK difficulty, take the hashing power of your supossed rig, consider profits given  expenses and here you go, result = you'll make more flipping burgers.

You could spend 300 USD, and get an X11 miner with 6, 5+ year old graphics cards worth $10-$20 each. You may probably be paying more in electricity, than your earnings. If you want a GPU mining setup that is profitable, you have to aim for efficient GPU cards, that yield more hashrate. Also, mining the proper currency makes the major difference. There are plenty of emerging algorithms that have recently had GPU implementations- Cryptonote, Wild-Keccak, and spreadx11.

The price of electricity in my country is more than 35 us/cents kWh...Sad

Give me then, a profitable coin at this rates with ~1500W of PSU per rig (6 units each)... Plus the maintance and the work that they give.
Can you imagine how much do I pay for electricity? Make or take your own conclusions Wink
