Some might argue that this has nothing to do with gambling since it wasn’t a direct win from gambling but to me personally I think it’s appropriate including it in your post since it was like the substrate that led to whatever it is that you explored to make you that money.
Gambling seems like a side story here for sure because ultimately it’s still cryptocurrency that made OP a millionaire in whatever currency that is. But I guess we can think about how interconnected crypto and gambling is nowadays. And how every gambler will most likely get introduced to crypto sooner or later since he is already in the gambling industry. Conclusion is crypto is well integrated into the gambling community now.

Congratulations to you as a millionaire, but still, your explanation wasn't clear enough, some people will mistake it for another thing. Again, you never stated the kind of millionaire you are, is it in the USD, GBP, local currency etc. Wink

If I understand you correctly, the earnings weren't even through gambling winnings per se but in your gambling activity in Bitcoins. Perhaps you have a store of Bitcoins due to this that you didn't spend and has become a huge value now. That part is not so clear to me. You may enlighten it further if you deem it necessary.

He didn’t mention the currency so even you can be a millionaire in currency that has low buying power.  Wink
I think the moral of the story for this topic is gambling make us discover the forum that introduced as to Bitcoin investment. I discover the forum due to my interest on Ponzi/Gambling/Trading Shitcoins so I can relate to the OP story regardless if he truly became millionaire.
This your reply actually made me laugh like for real that could be a point too . Literally almost everyone could be a millionaire in some currencies that are way low in market power and value. Anyways I think anyone discussing or judging based on Op's topic will likely just assume that op is referring to slightly above a million dollars.  That's because most people price in dollar which is common since it's more like a regular world currency.

Anyways for a gambler hitting 1 million, he could have been lucky more than he strategized because  the truth is no matter how much people try to paint the whole thing, gambling still requires a decent amount of luck for you to be able to pull off a jackpot kind of win especially.

It's good to learn that this forum has brought you close countless earning opportunities that you utilize to your advantage that gave you your first million in your country currency. I do tell people that they can't come in contact with this forum and expect to remain the same without your financial status changing for good because this forum would expose you to a lot opportunities that will help in building your finances and career instead of relying on gambling, if you were once an addicted gambler.

And that’s why I’m grateful for gambling as it opened the door for me to explore Bitcoin and, ultimately, achieve my first million.  Cheesy

Well, for me I haven’t won up to a million yet or even gain up to a million via any gambling related stuff or something I learnt about through gambling - although, I haven’t won made through other means but not something gambling open my eyes to see but I hope I do one day and I don’t just get stuck gambling and losing my money. Congratulations by the way.

Gambling is a determination and whomever that has this determination can actually make something from gambling, if actually he learned to gamble responsibly and apply moderate gambling. Sometimes it's actually hard to make up something substantial from gambling if there were no other sources of income to help finance the gambling, you would definitely fall out of line but then, only determination would lead you through if you consciously remove greed while gambling.

Anyway congratulations to your winning of hitting 1m from gambling.
Yeah I get your point but I think the application of gambling benefits to responsible players is not about making profits of your wagers but how you can extract tense of it potentials and apply it to your daily life which is either on your businesses or mathematical terms to solve problems.

Indeed efficient gambling is accompanied with inspirational criterias that enhances the ability of oneself to fit in face their fears and walk out a success.
That is why the OP could standout of his achievement on his Bitcoin investment by adopting the terminology of his gambling knowledges.

I love the twist to your story @OP and it made me more interested because you didn't let the frustration or greed often encountered in gambling get to you, because I can see you were disciplined in your spendings and gambling activities that you grew both in knowledge from just interest and curiosity and you even discovered the bliss of using Bitcoin to fund your account and gamble seamlessly with it.

If gamblers were to stay focused on their life goals and dreams and see gambling as not just a means to an end, but as a means to get free funds to spin or reinvest when there's win or the potential of it, then there would be less addicted or irresponsible gamblers who do so without a reason or interest or discipline or even permission from their spouses or close confidant when dipping hands into funds meant for other purposes.

I kind of have the similar story except the Gambling part, I entered into this forum and that changed my perspective about lots of things from economy, savings, banking, loan and investment. People kept investment as not for everyone in the community I live and it's only for risk takers and rich people but here I learned a lot about how anyone can become and investor and obviously I became one and made tons of money too.

One great thing about the internet is that some activities would take you to other earning opportunities which would benefit anyone who utilizes their chances. The task relies on trial and sometimes through the process people learn and begin to make financial decisions for themselves. Just like getting to know the forum because of gambling, and ending up building multiple skills and information by reading through the site.

Winding down.
You know what, this is not surprising. Those lucky and responsible gamblers will definitely earn a million from their gambling interest, although that million earnings does not only come from gambling alone but most probably other earning opportunities provided by this forum.

It's just that some gamblers rush into betting not because they know the game well, but it's more on they are more than greedy to win instant huge amount, which is only rare in gambling.

It is always good to be grateful for the thing we get and the chances we are given by life, in your case you had the chance to game money from your gambling ventures, not through putting money at stake but through working hard and also doing some investments. Congratulations for that.
In the same same way gambling has become a life changing way for you, for the rest of us, it could be anything else, like getting a job, doing intelligent investments in the long term, perhaps even starting our own business and working on it for years until building generational wealth.

Anyways, I like how you mention you still keep gambling modest quantities of moneys compared to your whole bankroll, that only shows you have managed to build a good sense of self-control.

SPOILER ALERT!

Maybe some of you have already prepared counterarguments to the title: "How Gambling brought me my first million." Actually, the "I" in that sentence stands for interest, and yes, it was my interest in gambling that eventually led me to my first million.
ah thanks for the clarification

i thought it meant internet-gambling although reading through the post i am guessing it can also be applied? since you were led to online gambling anyway later on

first of all congratulations for earning your first million that is a great achievement that many of wish to achieve

life is funny sometimes we can plan and plan but sometimes things do not go our way and we are led to a path that we didn’t even think was possible to go onto sometimes it doesn’t work out but sometimes it leads us to greater things just like how op was led to crypto

we all have different stories of how we got here but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter how we stumbled upon crypto, the important thing is what we did to make use of it and how we are reaping the rewards now

I still don't get it, did you become a gambling bitcoin millionaire so that we could envy you?

Following your example and similar feeling of gratitude, then I should thank the scam-ICO for the fact that I lost money in them, but at least learned about bitcoin?

You have a clickbait article, because you could come to bitcoin without intermediaries in the form of gambling with cryptocurrencies. And would you have become a millionaire with bitcoin, if you started not in 2015, but later, I also have doubts. You were just lucky to be in the right place at the right time, that was the determining factor, not gambling.

It might look like clickbait, but it’s a good topic since OP is sharing their real experience.

Yeah, OP's story is good also for Palantir which  will process revealed data  on the size of his stash with a great relish and  attach them to his profile.  I believe most of us are  doxed already by them or similar surveillance company  and if someone is not  at the moment it is solely the matter of time to put things right. I would be careful to publish any  data  relevant to myself even being behind my nick. I prefer to be on the low profile  if there is a talk of my money.

Yes, maybe of all the members here who are active in gambling, maybe you were the luckiest when you first started gambling, to be honest, I personally have never won that big, maybe it won't happen to me, In fact, I have been involved in gambling for a long time, but that is the world of gambling. Losing and winning has become the basis of all my gambling activities.

I always dream of winning large amounts, I never know when, but I will try like your experience, but I'm not sure I can succeed, at least you have shared your story here in writing, the fact is that only you know it, we are only reading your one millionth story.

SPOILER ALERT!

Maybe some of you have already prepared counterarguments to the title: "How Gambling brought me my first million." Actually, the "I" in that sentence stands for interest, and yes, it was my interest in gambling that eventually led me to my first million.

Let me elaborate a bit.. my first million didn’t come directly from gambling winnings. Back in the early days, before I created my account in 2015, gambling on sportsbooks was challenging. The fees were high just to cash in on some of the more popular sportsbooks at the time. Frustrated with these fees, I started exploring alternatives, hoping to save money while enjoying instant deposits and withdrawals. That’s when I discovered sportsbooks operating in the crypto space.

At first, I didn’t see Bitcoin as a potential life-changing investment. I was focused solely on gambling. But eventually, I stumbled upon the forum, and that’s where things changed. I learned so much here and found countless earning opportunities within the forum itself. During this time, I was still gambling consistently and losing small amounts of my hard-earned money. But those losses were nothing compared to what I earned over time through other ventures.

And that’s why I’m grateful for gambling as it opened the door for me to explore Bitcoin and, ultimately, achieve my first million.  Cheesy

I know bitcoin investment isn't a gambling but just due to their unpredictable future results, it all boils to being risky but meanwhile investing on bitcoin isn't a gambling because of only you can hold patiently for a long time, there's that assurance that you'd make it a profited account while you can unlikely stay gambling for years with no winnings. Very possible and undisputed.
So since they're both injected as a game of risk and an investment scheme that requires patient as it risk, the habitual adoption of responsible gambler can so much do well on holding bitcoin as response to long time. There'd be assured of making huge amount as much as we can holding depending the value of invested fund.

It might look like clickbait, but it’s a good topic since OP is sharing their real experience. I can actually relate to this because I was here before the 2017 bull run, and there were plenty of opportunities back then that paid off during the bull market.

Even the signature campaigns in the past paid around BTC0.01 per week. So, if you were good at saving, even if you gambled a bit, you could still accumulate a decent amount of Bitcoin to sell during the bull run.
