I use to check it at least 10 or 20 times a day
I use to check it at least 6 or 7 times a day but I don't do that anymore nowdays maybe once or twice (at most)
I like to check it in the morning when i'm with the first coffee reading the news, and in the night before sleep.

I'm trading at btc-e and buying/selling bitcoins so I check it quite frequently (every ~10-30 minutes) since btc-e is open in the browser for most of the time.
I have a bitcoin ticker widget on my phone. I see it every time I unlock my phone... Average unlock rate is likely in the 1-2/hr/day, so 16-32 times a day? Mind you that I am not unlocking my phone explicitly for the purpose of checking the exchange rate; I only see the price as an auxiliary part of living in the digital age.
