I actually use the Biticker add-on (v1.11.0 by Tritonio) for Google Chrome...so the price is literally always up so long as I have my browser open.

I check the price way more often than I should! I think 5-10 times a day. It's always awesome to see it fluctuate!
I installed an app on my phone that updates bitcoin prices from mt.gox and BTC-e and it has alerts, finding it quite handy. I tend to look many times a day.

Actually I have the bitcoinity window open all day at work, just to track the price.
Its worse than heroin, constantly checking, but useless as Im in it for the long term anyway.
