I gamble only if I have money then stop it when 3 consecutive loses.
Have extra money, right? Yeah, I did it as well and I think it really works to prevent severe losses. Losing extra money doesn't really affect your life. And if you can win with the extra money, it will be surprising your day.

Yes, always set the limit in playing gambling. Deciding to stop after 3 consecutive losses seems okay for some gamblers, but not for others. However, for newbies, it is recommended to do. If you don't really know how to play it, don't risk all your money for more losses.
Or better yet, get some valuable surface knowledge first before diving in. It's much better than spending a few dollars even if it's just disposable money. Ressarch on it, look for patterns if any. Find the optimal win condition and set up a strategy that will support your lifestyle and needs. After everything is kept in check, try the gambling site. Comapre your wins and losses. And always ensure that you're not tilted and addicted. Stop after 3 wins, stop after 3 losses. Don't get carried away when you win and place a very big bet.

That's just some of the tips I use myself when I'm gambling. So far I haven't lost that much money
Exactly we should spend that minimum amount for gaming which can be used without any fear of loss. Gambling never crosses the limit of the money always stay moderate and get into real Ana good sites for gambling as scamming has become so common I personally use to spend only a few hours of my day for gambling ana always gamble with a limited amount.

My gaming frequency has lessened a lot quite lately. I would say this has happened because I have lessened my debts to almost zero. I remember when I was deep down to around $700 debt and so most of my earnings went to pay off the debt and hence I relied on gambling to quickly pay off the debts. But now when I can keep most of earnings to myself, it pains to gamble away what little I earn Tongue

Definitely a good thing you did there.

A lot of people turn to gambling to pay off debts, and then start getting wreckless with their wagers, betting more they can afford to and end up getting further into debt.

Sure, some people do strike it big and win enough to pay off their debts, but the house edge wins more than half of the time, so these are fewer than 50% of those that try.

Hopefully you can turn your life around now, and keep gambling to a minimum, playing with only what you can actually afford to lose.
Exact to the point. If you will be reckless the chance of having more debts will happen to you but if you can manage to minimized everything around your gambling activities, you will be gaining a good amount of money. Having a wise perceptions into this kind of business brings chances of winning more. Start building good system and strategy and focus with money management skills.

Still, I wouldn't recommend to anyone to turn to gambling in order of paying off their debts. It's a very important rule of gambling that you should expect losing what you are going to wager. Even if you have good self-control, and you know that you can stop right after winning the desired amount, it's a bad practice, imo. Return your debt first, and then gamble for your entertainment, if you like it, but never rely on gambling for paying off your debts.

Earlier I used to gamble regularly, during those days I used to get good earning out of the same. Suddenly things changed with heavy loss, and I wasn't able to get back the lost amount. This made me spend at some time interval to lower the loss. Gambling needs to be kept in control, if one hasn't got control surely gambling isn't the right thing for them. From the beginning of the ongoing year I have decreased my spending on gambling.

Are you gambling everyday?
twice a week?
once in a never again?

if you gamble everyday, can you stop whenever you want or are you fully addicted?

would love to hear more on your habits here on the forum.

Well, honestly I don't gamble everyday because when I see some gambling site the first thing that comes to my mind is that I will lose money. So, I gamble maybe once in a month but when I start gambling, I become fully addicted for that particular day and I will not stop until I realize that the chance of losing my money is bigger.

I usually gamble whenever I have extra income from my investment. I'm not the kind of person who would gamble everyday since I know the risk and I'm not that wealthy yet. Most of the time I would just join campaigns wherein amidst the long wait of the income, I would still wait firmly for the profit with higher probability of assurance. Instead of gambling that is too risky, I choose to take a risk on those that has high probability of winning. I can control myself in terms of gambling and I consider it as an advantage.

If trading and testing strategies on simulators is not considered gambling, then I almost never play gambling. I'm more interested in the mathematics of the process. Spending my money on the game (taking into account the negative mathematical expectation), I consider it irrational.

i only play options nowadays using platform like usual but only at trade hour so i can predict correctly about the price.
From Monday to Friday i usually play 1 - 3 hrs a day, just to see if my prediction goes right or wrong. If it takes 4 loss then it stop loss for me.
1-3 hours daily.... Whoa.. You are trying. Permit me to say that it's almost like you are taking higher risk considering you are doing it daily.
Let me also ask, how often do your prediction turn out to be correct? How much on average do you put in? Also don't you feel that daily prediction is kinda too much?

I gamble only if I have money then stop it when 3 consecutive loses. All gambling games is really habit-forming that why its better to know your limit and have target earning to get the better from your loses or prevent huge loses. I suggest dont quit gambling just make a plan on how to correct spend money and surely you will overcome your loses once you know to spend it properly.
Especially in casino gambling at least there will be a certain time that will give good results, I have realized that in the past and gambling when having money is a good choice because forcing myself to continue betting even when not having money is something that will make a living suffer more from debt. No matter how often you gamble, you should be aware of the time to stop, because that way even if you gamble every day is not a problem because you can manage things well.

Really nice to see people are being good for gambling and they are getting interested in gambling. We make a list of days and then I gamble only in my free days. I think we should not disturb our study for gambling and gamble only if we get spare time from our daily working or studying routine as I use to gamble only in my free time and mostly at night time.
Yes , we all know that gambling really makes us happy but keep in mind that we should make our priority in order so that we can have a peace in the future and it can help us in many things as well. Study first and then gamble when you graduate, or gambler when it is after your exam but I really dont recommended it. You should study before gamble.
Happiness is only the stage where we have not realized the problem and do not understand the true nature of gambling, when we really understand gambling, perhaps we will know that we are not too happy to participate in it, it is only giving us temporary feelings and govern our thinking. A student with a bright future ahead, they should not regularly participate in gambling because they are not eligible to lose, they have a lot of costs to pay, failure to gamble will make them miserable and unable to learn the best

Lets just say i have a strategy for gambling, i have a set aside amount from my salary that is reserved for gambling.
Weeekend sport betting is a must for me, and midweek matches too especially when there are champions league matches.

But once i exhaust my threshold amount allocated for gambling, either im in profit or not, i roll over and wait until the next month.
And it does work for me most times.

what works for you ?
Yes, it is a good idea to exit gambling, whether it is profit or loss because the double strategy always returns with losses
but in champions league matches hard to guess which team will win the match

Actually, that is good if he can allocate some money to gamble, so he doesn't use his main money. But I don't think that with double strategy will give him a chance to win because he still needs to depend on luck. But we don't know if using the double strategy can allow him to win. He can try to use his strategy, so he will know what the results are.

~~I only do it whenever I have extra income and I make sure that I wouldn't be trapped by the desire of winning cause that may lead me to higher loss if unfortunate.~~
Good man! You did the right way, mate. It is true that just use the extra money for gambling and never think to spend your main money. Remember that we have a lot of things to fulfill daily, weekly, or even monthly. It should be a big problem if we spend all the money just for gambling. And yes, don't be greedy since it will take you down at the end.   Wink
Money is important nowadays to survive, it's the right choice to spend it on the right things that will let you live. I wonder why people keep gambling even they knew that once they lose they will regret it. Gamble is just entertainment and shouldn't be tolerated to do it every day because you'll get addicted to it.
It is true, you will be having a hard time if you don't have money. Money is everything in this world we live on. That's why spending it on the right way should be done by an individual.
You are wondering why people keep on gambling? That's because they are hoping to win an easy money, it is all about winning, and they will regret only if they lose. Most gamblers don't think of it as an entertainment due to the possible profit they can get.

Study is not enough, you should be rich before gambling so you can't have problems when you lose a lot.
That might be a problem later on, mate. Even if you become rich and start playing, losing money is still a problem especially if you lose a lot. This will only lead to losing all your money in the end.

i was gambling so often when i was studying. Love texas hold'em  Smiley But it is hard to find enough time nowadays for gambling. I can only spend some time for betting on football games.

Sounds like that movie 21 Cheesy

Was Kevin Spacey your teacher?!

To be honest, back when I was college there was an ofter-school poker club, and people would climb to a pretty high level just by playing in the club and at home games.

One of the guys actually paid for a good chunk of his tuition just from his home game winnings  Tongue
