6 months of consistency in Gambling winnings is all but a mirage because I believe that's not possible not even for the so called professional gamblers. Whenever gambling is viewed with this sense it only cause one thing and that's chaos and nothing more so seeing someone say they live off their gambling is sounding like share stupidity for me cause everyone knows its definitely impossible to prove.

I do not think it is impossible to live off gambling because there are people that are very lucky when they gamble. They can win a very large amount that they will use to take care of things until they get another big win. They might not be regular winners but when they win, the amount is usually big and it can take care of their needs for some amount of months before they begin to feel the need of making more money. I stand with you that no gambler can make only winning trades for 6 months without any losses. It sounds impossible because all gamblers know they can not always win. You might win a bet now but the next time that you play you are going to lose that bet. The end result when gambling is that you do not lose money more than you are making if gambling for money is what you are doing but do not think that you are not going to lose, that is impossible. I gamble when I feel like gambling, I do not gamble as a form of making money though.

The persons who keep records and learn nothing from it are the ones who end really bad.To keep gambling as an occupation takes a huge achievement to say the least and so far I don't know anyone who has been successful to live from gambling as this is what keep gambling as an occupation. The people that claim to be living from gambling I will not believe them unless they show me bet id-s from at least 6 months that they have consistently won,if they have done it for six months then they can make it for any amount of time and I can believe someone to make a salary from gambling.

Obviously, I think it's impossible to happen, meaning they are saying something based on nonsense, 6 months is a long period of time, it is very unlikely for a gambler to not experience any losses at all during the process, and never mind over such a long period of time. That is, sometimes in just a week's time it is very possible for us to experience losses that are much greater than previous wins.

This means I think don't be too fanciful about gambling, we all know that this is a game of probability that has no way of guaranteeing a win every time, so simply put if you are nothing more than an ordinary gambler who comes with money to gamble then I think it is very unlikely that you will be able to win during that time, unless you are a bookie who owns the casino itself.

I don’t have to take note of the number of times I win while gambling because I won’t be using the record for anything, it’s of no use to me. I'm sure if some people go through their gambling history and check how often they win or lose, then they are going to feel bad because they hardly win, they will have lost a lot of money in gambling, but most people don’t really check it.  The only people that won’t feel bad even if they lose so much money are the ones that gambling for fun. But seriously, I don’t keep my gambling records, but I know my losses are always greater than the amount I win.
I understand you may not be attaching too much importance to keeping the records probably because you feel it not important but then at some point for the sake of keeping your habit in check, it may be necessary because if you do it helps you know if you make money off gambling or not except you are gambling for fun then it totally becomes unnecessary for you to be really keen about such. Some persons make gambling a kind of occupation and for such persons all of the records matters.

It seems to me that it is necessary to check not the history of gambling for 6 months, but a certain number of bets (and even in size, and not so that all bets are for 1 cent and one for 10k dollars), for example, 1000. This number of bets will smooth out the element of chance and more or less will reliably show average numbers. But even in this case, we must remember that odds matter and a distance of 1000 bets may not be enough to understand the effectiveness of the strategy/gambler.
If we are talking about odds like 1 to 10k, 1 to 100k, etc. then each win distorts the picture by a huge distance.

On a general observation, we may not be able to quantify how often we are winning while gambling, not because there is no history record to take

But seriously, I don’t keep my gambling records, but I know my losses are always greater than the amount I win.

If we accumulated all the gambling we do, I think we would find more losses than wins, I agree with that. Because instinctively, if I count the gambling from the last 3 months, for example, I would also say that I experienced more losses. Even when I win, I think it's only enough or even less to cover my losses in the last 3 months.
But this is still fine, because I gamble with a budget that I have calculated. Can I be prepared for loss or not, because if I don't do that, I think my finances are very bad now.
Having fun is my main goal in gambling, although I also can't deny that I also hope for big wins to come. But it was just a hope and I didn't really chase it, because if I chased it then I wouldn't be able to control myself.
I also feel that most people who gamble will experience more losses than wins.
A few days ago I also wanted to look at my gambling records and there I saw the amount of my losses. Also, if I monitor it on a monthly basis, I am sure that my losing rates will be higher. But still I continue my gambling because I enjoy gambling. It's not that I haven't won here, but I've lost more than I've won. If my losing ratio is higher I will still conduct gambling but it must be within my limit. I consider gambling as entertainment even though there is a temporary disappointment when I lose but after some time I am revived. In gambling I never conduct gambling from the idea that I will win.

Gamblers should know how much they need to gamble whether they are winning or losing so that if they are winning, they don't lose their profits and if they are losing, they don't lose all their bankroll at once because it might give you another chance if you have some money left to play with later.
Good advice, gamblers tend to get blinded by their emotion, specially greed/guilt and anger. If they win, they should stop and if they lose, then also they should stop, is what I keep on saying.

Calling it a day and leaving is not defeat, rather it is always the win. Casinos are built to make the gambler lose, not the casino, so keep gambling in the "fun" section and dont let it cross that boundary.

As soon as someone tries to make money from gambling, they will invariably lose.

For me I often win a gambling bet but one can not compare the wining and the losing together because normally in gambling their is know how that you would often win without lose it is a capital know but in all I must confess that I normally won gambling almost every weekend but as a good gambler always gamble as I would  afford to lose, because I normally use a small amount of money in my gambling bet, so even if I lose I will not feel too bad.
I believe you are new to gambling which is why you are saying that you often win because a regular gambler who has been into gambling for quite some time, wouldn't be able to say the same thing because you can't keep winning in gambling all the time and there will surely be times when you will lose. I didn't understand your second point where you said something about capital and comparing wins and losses, I know there shouldn't be a comparison between wins and losses because they can't be the same.

Gamblers should know how much they need to gamble whether they are winning or losing so that if they are winning, they don't lose their profits and if they are losing, they don't lose all their bankroll at once because it might give you another chance if you have some money left to play with later.

If I we're to do an extensive searching on how much I've won in gambling to conclude if I've won or lost, I'd probably say that I most likely don't have the win in my side, most definitely more losses. If we're talking about wins in a gambling sessions though, I'd say that I win at most in 35 to 45 percent of the time albeit the wins aren't going to be a lot of money though as most of these wins are mostly not enough to make prematurely quit that particular session because most definitely before I've arrived in a win, I've already got a 12 losses before 1 win so my mind would be on the drive to get all those losses back since that one win isn't enough. Moral of the story, don't gamble for the chasing losses aspect, better off putting your mindset in a way that would give you more entertainment more than anything.

Do you mean that you don't reflect on your gambling activities to check if you are making progress or damaging your finances and peace of mind? There is no way to do self gambling appraisal without  checking how many times you win maybe weekly or monthly against how many times you also lose within the same time frame. Then also check how much deposit against how much withdrawals you make to know your position and take decision either to gamble more or control your gambling. This is exactly how I monitor my gambling and it has been helping me in controlling my gambling habits.

The only people that won’t feel bad even if they lose so much money are the ones that gambling for fun. But seriously, I don’t keep my gambling records, but I know my losses are always greater than the amount I win.
Even those who gamble for fun do feel good when they win because there is nobody that do not like money. The only reason they make gambling a thing for fun is to control how they feel when it does not go their way. So knowing how often winning comes is something important for every gambler.

Yes, it It is somehow importance to pick games from How others and share gaming opinions together, yes it really necessary to also pick Some public game and go to your favorite betting sites to play, but you should be careful and not to be over confident because you many not understand how the games was analyzed and played, it will be better if you Take a look at the game and see if you can make some corrections before you Play in your own personal betting sites
It's always important to pick games that you have a good percentage of assurance as to the fact that you are going to win because if you pick otherwise, you are most likely going to lose your funds to gambling and there's almost nothing you can do about it because you made the wrong pick, even in gambling for fun, it's always important to make the best picks because they in a way add to the total fun you will be having at the end of the day but wrong picks and continuous losses will only amount to you not been happy and the fun is lost so as your funds too, sometimes the ideas of other people's pick can help you a lot to making the best picks which gives you profit gambling and at same time gives you the chance to see some fun in the gambling already.

In sports betting I play paroli often so I would say I win a little less or sbound half of the times but that is only normal when the odds are hugger than a 2.00x.
When playing luck based games I don't care that much how much I win. I have a pre set amount of money I will be spending each week and don't bother too much with caring about the rest. Like yes, I will try to not go in the red, but if the money is over it's ok. We might win next time.  Cool
Sports betting is a predictive game. Here, the better the prediction is, the more bets can be won from the match.  Sports is something we all love and we all enjoy sports and betting on it makes it even more enjoyable. When two equally strong teams are playing there are almost equal Odds between the two teams then betting is very risky because when both teams are equally strong then winning the match depends on luck. So luck cannot be denied in any aspect of gambling. Gambling always depends on luck be it sports or casino

I think it doesn't really matter how often a player wins, because there are many different strategies that lead to the same result, but in different ways.
For example, in betting, the strategy is for someone to bet Express Bets that win very rarely. But all the events that the player included in the Express will come true, then it will be a huge win. I witnessed how my friends received x15 to the amount that they put into the express.
Therefore, it does not matter how often someone wins in gambling or betting. The end result is important - how much the player is in the black.

On a general observation, we may not be able to quantify how often we are winning while gambling, not because there is no history record to take, but because we may get discouraged after discovering that we often loose in gambling than we win, so i don't see any benefits in it knowing the rate at which we lose to that of the ones we often won, this is gambling and we should know for that reason, we are more liable to lose than winning, but at the end, we gain being entertained.
Well that's your case bro , because I believe someone out there like myself feels and know the importance to actually check and keep track of their gambling habits and that includes both winning and losing because they are sometimes that these record might be the thing to keep you in check with your habits because it's not easy to gamble especially when you are always eager to win money from gambling.

Looking at the two ideas above I would say that everyone has a different method of gambling, whatever it is, whether it's a way to get more wins (although nothing is certain) or a way to minimize the possibility of more significant losses such as keeping records as mentioned above. you said above, which is useful for knowing whether at that time the number of your losses was greater than your wins or not.

With the aim of being able to have a more balanced approach to gambling so as not to overdo it, or what I mean is that I understand that someone's intention and purpose of looking at the record of wins and losses in their previous sessions can be used as a basis so that in the future we can be more disciplined and avoid various actions. which tends to be excessive. This means that in my opinion whatever method they apply to their gambling approach as long as it leads to preventive measures then it is not a problem and is recommended.

You are right and I very much argree with you, like I believe it's been stated on this board and the gambling board over and over again, gambling is very addictive, and this is mostly for those who are in it for the win and profit making, and one way gamblers usually get trapped is by them having just one good win, and then just like that, that gambler will like to have another win, and from then on, you see them gambling aggressively like their life depend on it, this is usually the first step to gambling addiction.
And the second one is losing and trying to recover the money, this usually lead many to rage gambling, which also leads to addiction, and the only way to prevent any of such is for us to always monitor our gambling habit, that is, putting ourselves in check while gambling, it helps us to be conscious of those errors, and to quickly draw ourselves back when we notice we are going into it.

But much more often, win almost every time I gamble and also I lose as the same time, so there is no set aside days for winning or losing it can happen at anytime.
In other words, the losses equilibrate with the wins making the net profit close to zero or a good negative. The casino is always the winner when it comes to EV- games and even in EV+ games you still have to bad luck factor often weighing you down eventually making the casino more profitable.

However consider being the casino and investing in its bankroll, it is a system where you can get the house edge on your side and is profitable in the long run and then you are essentially winning more than losing, sadly no many website allow this feature any more. So build your own casino. Wink
Places like bustabit still allows this, but it wasn't as profitable to me as other things in crypto, so i didn't ever really go into that. And you would need to have significant amount of money to it being worth it, and at the same time you would neeed to trust third party to hold it, and wait until casino had actually made profit to withdraw that profit, and casinos can also lose lots of money in short to mid term, so you might need to wait for a while.

And building your own casino is a next level investment that most likely needs investors if you aren't a millionaire, and maybe even that isn't enough, depending how deep mid term losses you can handle and still be liquid.
