This is why this Filipina won because she did not indulge herself with high hopes, but played for the sake of participation, and did not set herself the hope of winning, since she was already successful. As many people say: money always sticks to money.
If you take the game easier, you have a better chance of success. I think a lot of people have had random wins where they didn't expect anything and were just lucky. But when we decide to choose a rather strange way of making money for ourselves, becoming too self-confident and thereby superior to others, considering ourselves the favorite of fortune, this lady will definitely flick us on the nose.

Well who doesn't think about quitting their job and winning the lottery lol.  I think that's a pretty natural human sentiment.  That being said, you can't win if you don't play and when it comes to big lotteries, I really don't play very often so my chance of winning is of course not very high.

Personally I see the lottery and lotto tickets as a waste of money.  I'd rather put the money in some sort of shitcoin as the chances of "winning" are higher more often than not.

Well, shitcoins at least will also go up during bull run but a chance to win in a state-sponsored lottery is next to impossible. Bought a lottery ticket once upon a time, it's funny because I did check the result even when I knew it was a 1 in a million chance.

I get lucky with investments even with shitcoins though. All networks today from ETH down to Arbitrum I think already have memecoins on them, I could never get bad luck If I invest DOGE and SHIB today.

Were they quitting after winning a jackpot? It's impossible to stop gambling after winning a jackpot. Most people would continue to gamble. It is common for lottery winners to experience financial struggles in the months or years following their win, often due to their inability to quit gambling or manage their finances wisely. Let's hope the Filipina winner avoids gambling addiction and prioritizes financial responsibility.

When I heard news about it, I became curious since it's a monthly payout on the winning. A monthly payout seems a good idea since you cant lose or spend all of your money winning in a few months or years. What will happen if the winner suddenly dies? Is the monthly winnings will continue to the family or nah? If not, the winner should prioritize her health to reach +25 years.

Once you've tasted victory and honey from a honey pot, you know how sweet it is, so there's no way the jackpot winner can stop gambling; in fact, it might get worse because the winner will always want to win at all costs, so the individual will take gambling very seriously, and as a result, the person will become addicted. Financial struggle is a really harmful portion because the person will never be financially free since they will always want more. if Filipina can properly manage her greed and even manage her win it will be good for herself and her mental health. I think all that should be stated on the gambling site but I don't think there will be a continuation after death it will all end once she dies I don't think it will extend to the family. which is not bad. if you even come to look at it gambling is sweet sometimes just that overdoing some things won't end well.

For now I would say I am not that lucky in my way through the gambling world.(I must say and a pretty casual gambler, so do not expect me to be the wisest around, though   Tongue)

I have mostly given my time to dices, plinko, crash and a little bit a blackjack and in most of occasions I end up losing, even after pretty sweet good luck streaks. You could say I am the kind of person who does not when is supposed to cash out, so I can enjoy the winnings. Still, I would not consider myself to be addicted to gambling and even having some compulsive attraction towards it.  Just some guy with a pretty mediocre luck.

If I ever win the lottery or hit a jackpot, I am sure I would likely quit gambling for a long while before polishing my poker skills again and start again from there.

It's hard for those winners to stop gambling or managing their finances, because they weren't prepared for that moment along their lives. It's like receiving a task to be completed, while never had having a training for that before. I believe to hire a financial advisor is a valid idea for jackpot winners.

When I heard news about it, I became curious since it's a monthly payout on the winning. Yes, the money continues being paid monthly to the heirs of the prize winner till the end.

How about you guys, are you having a good fortune on your gambling career? Do you ever think of quitting after you won a jackpot?
I think that there are degrees to which we can say gamblers are lucky. I also feel that they are gamblers who are mildly lucky, moderately lucky, and extremely lucky. I don't know how it happens but gamblers fall into these three categories of the level or degree of luck.  I've once won a good amount of money while gambling. It does not always happen to me but this day was different. I tried to push my luck a bit by trying to gamble more but as soon as I realized that I lost the first game I quit immediately.

I still regret to this day that I may not have tried to gamble immediately after winning such money even though what I lost was little.

Yeah I do understand that some of you might say that gambling is not a career or a source of income rather just an entertainment or in short for fun specially if you are in first or second world countries. I agree with you since that is also my understanding of gambling. But in third world countries like mine some people tend to find luck in gambling as a source of income as we all know that it is unstable, there are times they're lucky and sometimes they end up broke.

You might not believe me on this but it was really happening here in my place. I knew one guy from the other village that spent $300-$400 on cock fighting while he and his family is living in a very old nipa hut that is about to fall. I don't really understand why they live like that.

There are actually a lot of them who uses spider, basketball, cockfight, cara y cruz, pigeon, drag race, volleyball, playing cards, mahjong and many others for betting purposes. Though they're all illegal but still they managed to evade authorities just to bring money and food for their families. These gambling ideas is prone to trouble that is why it is too risky.

I would say exercise diligence when interpreting these news.

A person winning a rare spot in a game and getting a big amount as prize money, you should think how many retries they have had to undergo to get that. That is their cumulative loss and it is comparable to the hard work done by a successful person before their fame, we see the fame but dont see the background.

At the same time remember that the few people who won, means a lot many who lost too.

Hence gambling should be limited to a fun game/time killer with a cost not a career or income source.

I have had moderate gambling luck, commensurate with the level of betting I do. I buy lottery tickets from time to time as well, and I have never won a big prize. Only small prizes and winnings, although I do have an acquaintance and a relative who won a big prize once. In the end, if you never play, you won't win, and if you play once in a while, the probability is very small but you're still in with a chance.

This Filipina did not even expect she won the grand prize on lottery instead she thought of winning just consolation prizes. Lucky for her she had that financial stability for 25 years as $6,670+ a month here in the Philippines is pretty huge.

I am not lucky in lottery or any gambling casinos but way back in 2017 the only luck I encountered was I gambled with the risk of joining bounty hunting on this forum and it is worth it.

My preferred choice of gambling is soccer betting and I initially had mixed results when I started due to plenty accumulated odds however after picking three to four maximum accumulated odds I had some consistent wins and few losses though the profit isn't much because I gambled with amount of money I can afford to lose and I gamble for fun and fewer obviously it has to do with some putting in some effort in match analysis because I was very conversant with game and familiar with majority of the premier league clubs and other few European leagues thus I gave me the opportunity to place my bets on some selected matches.

Congratulations to Freilyn Angob on this uncommon win.  She wanted to get married but it seemed they had some financial difficulty so with this win they will have a financially stable married life. I also like her wins because her reward will be spread over twenty-five years. This will help prevent the problem of wasteful spending associated with big winners.

My gambling adventure is not a good or bad experience. I have lost some amount and in some cases won a few bucks. I have never won big in my whole life and I have not also lost a huge amount. This is because I have never gambled more than my financial capacity.  I will not quit if I ever win big but I will ensure the win is invested wisely. I might consider increasing my gambling budget but it will still be within my normal income. I will not be in the category of people who waste big wins on luxury or gambling, I will still be a responsible gambler.

Gambling is not a career.

I am of the type that do not expect anything good from gambling. That is why I use little amount of money to always gambling except if it is free money which I can try my luck with.

I have never won a jackpot that can let me quit gambling before. If I win big, I may quit gambling if I become a business man and have no time for gambling anymore. But if I still have time, I can have fun with gambling at times with tiny amount of money.
Yes i agree with you gambling is not a career. Gambling just a entertainment place. If someone considers it as a career or a place of passive income then he will suffer a lot from gambling.  Gambling does not bring good luck to everyone and I am one of them.  Gambling didn't bring me much luck either. I refrain from regular gambling because gambling for a long time leads to loss of money as well as a bad addiction and a person who is deeply addicted to gambling can never progress in life.
That's right, because the only way to gamble correctly and without addiction is to play exclusively for pleasure. It is at the moment when a person begins to think that he can earn this, then problems begin. The fact is that this is often facilitated by an early win, when a person, one might say, comes to the casino at 1, and he is very lucky, it is after this that many people begin to form the opinion that this may always be the case and it is quite possible to turn it into a permanent source of income.

I don't quite understand what you mean because gambling is not a career, gambling is just a hobby for fun. However, this hobby is quite challenging and quite risky because we involve money in it, but this is comparable to the sensation and pleasure it gives when playing it.
I'm not very lucky when I gamble, especially types of gambling that rely entirely on luck such as slots and slots. However, in other types of gambling that rely on my skills and knowledge, I am quite good at playing this type of gambling and I often get big wins.
and if such a question "Have you ever thought about quitting after winning the jackpot.?"
Of course I will stop the game for a moment and withdraw from the game, I need to do this to prevent my money from going back into gambling so that in the end it is inversely proportional to initially making a profit but at the end of the game I lose everything which leads to a loss in gambling .

Congratulations to her. It is indeed a hue one for her to be taking home such an amount of money on a monthly basis for this long period of years. That is really a luck on her side. In my country such amount of money mans a lot not to talk of when it comes like this every month that it will just be credited into your account in that manners without stress. I think as a woman, she would make good judicious use of it in investment and other means as well.  I have had this experience of winning thrice on my bet and it gave me a little relief because the wins was a little bit tangible to sustain me for and foot other bills for a while  but the rest of the others are story that i do not like sharing the experience aftermath.

~snip~

There have been times in my gambling experience when I wanted to stop gambling, but both times it was after major losses, not wins. I could not see gambling and was angry with myself for a very long time. Thankfully that feeling has long gone away.

When I won a large amount of money for me I just forgot about gambling for a while, because I was engaged in the development of this money, but I did not even think to quit gambling then.

I have had the hand of luck shine on me in some of my games or any casino. Most times I go in there not expecting to win a huge amount of money but just something little sort of like a compensation and once or twice I have happened to hit the jackpot. My jackpot I mean that I want a amount that I did not expect. I haven't played the lottery yet maybe someday I'll try it out but for now I am stuck with regular casino games and sports betting.

If luckily I win a jackpot, that won't stop me from gambling. I'll continue and that's even easier because I've got more money.

But the twist is that until now, I have never won such jackpot in the lottery or any other game that has a jackpot.

How about you guys, are you having a good fortune on your gambling career?
Lucky her that she's having the good life now with that pension as prize for so long with her ticket. I'm just in the between if I'll answer that question because sometimes it's not good days and vice versa.
