We can't be sure that Bitcoin will continue growing in value at roughly the same rate it has been growing (with a decreasing multiplier so far) or that it won't just stop growing at some point. It's also unreasonable to plan for more than 100 years of investing because it's highly unlikely that anyone will survive long enough to see it and also people I believe people should be able to actively benefit from their investments, improve their lives and the lives of others with it. Otherwise, it doesn't really matter. So nobody can tell you how rich you'd be with such a strategy, but I like franky1's estimate.
@franky1 thanks for your mathematical and statistical analysis of what investment using the DCA strategy over a duration would look like. Also, to everyone who had an input worth learning from here. I personally enjoyed reading the comments and everyone's reasoning on the subject is pointed to the fact that death is a certainty before Bitcoin reaches its limit, despite my strategy or not.
I will try to be faithful while am DCAing over the duration I choose, and would  hope to enjoy the fruits of my investment labour once I attain a certain threshold of a tangible amount.

These questions will depend on how strong you are at sticking to the DCA strategy and how much money you use. Maybe it takes less than 5-10 years or even more, but you have to know what your target is in the future.

Maybe if you have managed to collect more than 5 BTC, you can save 3 BTC for your future and use 2 BTC to generate more fiat money and of course, continue with that DCA strategy. And in this case, I suggest you continue with the DCA strategy and sell your BTC at the top so that your profits will be big. And when you've got the money, save some and continue the DCA strategy.

Will those who earn from campaigns, offer services online or conduct business with cryptocurrency be so rich, seeing that they have been in the game long and have accessed or have access in the form of holdings or savings or have its coins as payment in one form or another?

It all depends on how much you will invest and how often (every week or every month), it's all easy to calculate. Then everything will depend on the price of bitcoin, how long the bear market will last, because the more expensive it becomes, the less bitcoin you can buy each time. It is difficult to say how rich you will become, but one thing is for sure, it should bring you a good profit if you are consistent in your strategy.

How rich could I be if I use DCA strategy to invest in Bitcoin continuously until it reaches its 21million limit?
Nobody said there is a guarantee that you will get rich by DCA method, but if you will be rich Depends very much on how much, I mean the amount you can commit to your strategy of DCA, how dedicated and committed you can remain for a long time and how safe and well you can keep your investment. But since the bitcoins are not reaching the 21million limit, it means that you plan to DCA for a long time. If you can do that, you will be rich when the bull season begins and bitcoin is sets a new all time high, You will not even need to wait for the limit to know if you are rich or not.
DCA is a profitable strategy as long as the investor can hold for long enough, but at the same time if someone is really thinking about becoming rich and to do so with a small amount of money and in a relatively short amount of time then DCA is probably not the best option for them, instead they should become traders which can earn way more money than what you can earn with DCA, although this is true only for a limited number of traders.

You will be the poorest because it will take more than 100 years to mine all the remaining bitcoins, and you only know DCA from here until the end of your life without using bitcoin, you have nothing in your hand. It's a misconception, we invest in bitcoin, hoping it goes up so we can have a happy life, not save money to DCA bitcoin to death.

When the 21 million limit is reached, I'm already dead; my children are already dead; my grandchildren are probably already dead as well. So I guess I won't DCA that long. Although I believe that Bitcoin is a nice way of saving intergenerational wealth, I don't think I will just keep on saving for the sake of whoever will inherit my money. I'd be lucky if I'm still alive by the time Bitcoin hits $1,000,000. If it happens and I still can't live life with Bitcoin alone, I'd be more than willing to convert much of it into fiat and enjoy the money.

In 2017 when ICOs are at their peak many bounty hunters made thousands of dollars and whether is it rich enough depends on what is our financial needs and status.

Replying to the part I quoted yes, definitely cause even in my 5 years of existence I saw 0.01BTC per week for 20 posts which is $250, and some campaigns even gave more rewards than that so if anyone is holding those assets until now from their signature campaign earning itself they should be at least made 10x even with a current bear market.

I dont think the halvening is a reasonable pace to judge investment by, every time they half the block reward it becomes less important.   The real importance to price is the amount of usage that occurs over time, the lessening in block reward is so that it doesnt matter as much over time.  To hold on that basis would be ignoring that its not as central over time as it used to be, the majority of the scarcity to supply from that factor is already over.  The difference in supply vs demand now is not on schedule but from the amount of users, its the most consistent dynamic.  Not large users but almost the casual large increases to population.

it's rather depends on how much you've accumulated, and how much money you invested that considering if you're still alive until 2140 so it's hard to find the specific amount of your wealth.
moreover there's some chance of multiplying your money along the way at bearish cycle in which i'm sure if you could accumulate at the right time you'd definitely make more than you think in the long run.
honestly though you shouldn't wait until total supply hitting maximum, if you see yourself making quite the profit out of your DCA then you could simply sell it all.

guess, most of us who are alive today won't see reaching the 21M mark for bitcoin. and also, such OP's question is very subjective. we can't know for sure about the future of bitcoin, let alone 100 years or more from now. it may possibly go to 'obsolution,' who knows? so no one can give him a certain answer about such query.
but if you do believe in this market, accumulation will give you an advantage if this will continue its popularity and demand among humanity.

then late 2036 buying 0.003125 and again in 2037 2038 and 2039
is a total of 0.2375 at 2040 @768k per btc = $182.4k for your $20.4k input

ill let you continue the math
Awww, I loved it so much, wish you ended up finishing it. At the end of the day it shows that by 2039, you are getting 180k for your 20k input and that alone is amazing, and I guarantee you that the price of bitcoin will be much much higher by then, the price will be a lot bigger and it won't be just 180k, it will be a lot more but of course you would have to consider you would be getting less bitcoins, and yet the overall return will still be higher.

I can't believe that people are still considering if buying bitcoin is a good investment or not. I understood it 10 years ago, it was new, and people were unsure, but if you are still unsure today, that's a bit weird.

You do not have to wait for the last Bitcoin to be mined to be rich.... it can happen at any time. People who bought bitcoins in the early days when it was only a few cents are very rich today (well some of them) .... so you can also be like them, if you buy now.

The Bitcoin price might be $25 000 today, but something might happen that send the Bitcoin price to $100 000 or even $1 000 000 ...and if you bought at $25 000 ..you will be a very rich person.

I bought when the Bitcoin price was between $300 and $400 ..... but I sold some at $1000 and then again at $18 000 and again at $50 000 .... so I made very good profits on my initial coins.  Wink
He already knows this but he is only curious if how rich he would be if he won't sell and waited only for the last Bitcoin to be mined. I think it will also depend on the money that we would be investing in. If he will use larger amounts then he can be very rich. It will also depend on what year did he start investing. If we start ever since the world of BTC begun then I think we are going to be ultra-rich when that time arrives. BTC price right now is not $25k but it was only $23k.

Even on that price, I doubt someone can buy a one whole BTC because it still looks expensive. The best thing that people can do is to do a DCA and buy a portion of BTC on their preferred dates. The OP's plan is kinda ridiculous to some so just go where your heart beats.

What's point of richness where you die by the time your profits fructify?

How long would be a long time in years for this limit to be reached?

Google search tells me year 2140. However, I'm pretty sure things will much different as time does things one can't imagine.

I think most of such people treat crypto payments as money and use it for irl needs, just like job people would.

For those of us who have been exposed to cryptocurrency and have had to believe in its continued existence by delving into its use;
How rich could I be if I use DCA strategy to invest in Bitcoin continuously until it reaches its 21million limit? Knowing how much it has gotten to now at 19.15million.
According to my information, the completion of mining the last Bitcoin will be by the year 2140 if I am not mistaken. Are you sure that you would like to invest in different forms to become rich after mining the entire 21 million Bitcoins?
I am not knowledgeable enough to give investment advice, but I can assure you that if you only invested $1,000 5-7 years ago, you would have multiplied it many times over. And you can imagine if you invested more amounts in the same period. There are many ways to invest, but no one can assure you when you might become rich or how much you have to invest.
So actually the Op question was asked without seeking information first because even if he could live to that year, would he still have the same interest because it could be that before Bitcoin completed mining the world's interest in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency has changed, and if Op really wanting to invest with DCA would make sense to do with a period of no more than 5 years this is my opinions and after that investors can start enjoying what they have invested.

No one can know for sure. What most of us in this forum think from the properties of bitcoin and how it has evolved since its creation is that the purchasing power of bitcoin holders will continue to increase, but how much is very difficult to determine.

And another thing is, as has been pointed out, that the maximum return you are going to get is if you don't sell or spend anything, which is very difficult or you have to have a lot of money already to do that. Waiting for the next bull market, accumulating, seeing the price reach say 200,000 and not selling anything is quite difficult, and even more so because we know that after the bull market the bear will come again and you will be bored for two or three years.

There are those who continue their activities in crypto such as creating their own projects, there are also those who are investing, trading, mining, there are also those who are still active in campaigns. But some of them also decided to take a break from the crypto world. From the money they have made, they choose to open an offline business, some are looking for another job and saving money that they earn from crypto. Actually I almost stopped if only in 2019 then all the campaigns that I participated in paid for everything and would use the money to open a business. But because fate said otherwise, in the end I have remained active in the campaign until now to get what I haven't gotten in previous years.

117 years

imagine there was no price movements at all
where you invest just $100 a month

meaning $1.2k a year is an accumulation of $140,400 over 117 years

if we factor in just a meaningful 2x factor every halving
(im low balling that market price only doubles every 4 years)

starting at $24k for 1btc meaning 0.05btc this year
meaning 0.025 bought which after the 2024 halving
means holding 0.075 @$48k per btc = $3600 for your $2400 input
buying 0.025 in 2025, 2026, 2027,

meaning 0.15 bought upto 2028 @$96k per btc = $14.4k for your $6k input

then late 2028 buying 0.0125 and again in 2029 2030 and 2031
is a total of 0.2 at 2032 @192k per btc = $38.4k for your $10.8k input

then late 2032 buying 0.00625 and again in 2033 2034 and 2035
is a total of 0.225 at 2036 @384k per btc = $86.4k for your $15.6k input

then late 2036 buying 0.003125 and again in 2037 2038 and 2039
is a total of 0.2375 at 2040 @768k per btc = $182.4k for your $20.4k input

ill let you continue the math
