It is true that Blockchain is now getting a lot of attention and becoming a trend, adoption of big countries like China will be a big news for everyone in the world that could cause other countries to wake up from reality and acknowledge this technology as well. Perhaps on year 2020, half of the countries across the world had already use Blockchain technology but we cannot remove the fact that there will be some countries are against it hence, 2020 is not enough.

I think 2020 is not the right year.I think for the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies need at least another 5 years.

2020 though is going to awake the big companies to migrate to blockchain system because its worth doing than just with the old system where security is always an issue. The dapps today will make these big companies realize they are already behind to the development. But the beauty of it is that they do have all the information and people they can consult with and what to do. 2020 is where we can see a lot of publications about bitcoin and blockchain on traditional media sites.

Companies are already adopting blockchain technology however, it will likely have no effect on cryptocurrency because crypto is a different entity altogether and its adoption can only happen when we start see more use cases for it

No assurance still, also it is more blurry at this moment given that the market value of most cryptos are not that positive unlike before. The situation will just give other countries reason to doubt with regards to the adoption of the crypto industry . If ever there would be a recovery next year, I still doubt that it would be enough for other countries to do so. Adoption of a currency is not that easy especially with cryptos' case wherein volatility exist in nature.

Cant say 2020 will be the year of blockchain but I believe that blockchain will get more adoption then cryptocurrency. Blockchain is a revolutionary technology and its has frontiers that are even yet to be discovered.

Its unpredictable and very uncertain, only time can tell us the right trend for 2020 and even hodlers say here that we will go for the mass adoption, the future can’t still be sure to be like that. I started to follow my own trend with bitcoin and blockchain industry, I’m very bullish and preparing well for that mass adoption, only me can understand my beliefs well you have to support yourself first.

There are plenty of chances for the year 2020 to be a remarkable one but anything may happen because it cannot analyze the mentality of all the investors across the globe. Yes, it is all about how individual investors will be deciding about their money and risking level.There is one big event is going to happen in 2020 i.e. bitcoin halving. Like many people, I am also believing that one event will be more than enough to make more people to get into crypto space because, it has more weightage compared to any other event in crypto space. Still, anything could happen and we should not expect adoption of crypto to happen very fast as it has no chances to happen in rapid manner but slow and steady will definitely win the race so that we can remember every upcoming year as a remarkable one for cryptos.

It is very unpredictable, but I believe that in general crypto industry and blockchain technology slightly nearing the mass adoption. But we still have a lot of work to do, and I hardly doubt that the mass adoption will take place before 2025.

I guess it is already overwhelmingly accepted across major developed countries. The ones behind are just those regarded as third world as a result of their technological development.

We will never know how fast or slow it will be. It will depend in a country on how they will implement it. In my country there is a bit of adoption as the government is studying or planning to create a project like in election system thru blockchain. If the government already use it many will sure to foolow in adopting it.

I think, with current situation, adoption won't happen because of dumb tax laws that treats Crypto like property instead of money. Even someone with honest intentions, can never use crypto as a means of exchange because of the tax headache. capital gains tax, fees from exchanges and transaction fees together makes it a very expensive way to buy a coffee. so the space is full of HODLers saving for their Lambo. Have sensible tax laws crypto or preferably none and lower transaction fees, and then more businesses will be open for Crypto payments. as a result you could expect adoption in early 2025.

Success don't come over night and so blockchain adoption and just be contented on what's happening right now in blockchain. And not to mention that we're seeing good results on adoption.
2020 is unrealistic, tbh. I'm betting it will take a decade or so to fully adopt blockchain. Blockchain isn't just a easy peasy.

I try not to think about how soon this will happen because I see a bright future for cryptocurrencies and I am ready to wait a bit, but while I expect, I try to increase my cryptocurrency portfolio

Don't get your hopes up with a short amount of time, it takes a long time for that. Lately I've seen everyone expect to happen in 2020, to be honest, I'm sick of seeing that because they are showing a panic.
It's better to just watch what will happen next.

By adoption, do you mean the entire world adopting cryptocurrency or do you mean just your country. You question is way too broad to answer but to remain optimistic, I will assume that you are referring to a global adoption. In that case, my educated guess is that global adoption could happen as soon as some time by next year, if FaceBooks project Libra is given the green light by the United States congress to go on ahead and launch it's platform. Then all users who have access to FaceBook, Instagram, and WhatsApp will have access to a stable based cryptocurrency.

He mentioned that because his talking about his Binance. Adoption is slowly improving IMO. Before only few projects are in the circle of blockchain but now many have been introduced and continuously increasing. The only problem here is the rate of adoption affected by some projects that aren't needed much. Even without use cases these projects must provide one and not about trading cause it can really affect the adoption.

What do you mean? Adoption across the board is already happening on a large scale.
I'd actually say that a lot of technologies are already mass adopted, like bitcoin itself, and even ETH with the advent of ICOs with the ERC20 tokens that are hosted on it. A lot of people are waiting for mass adoption to happen, but I say that we may already be speaking in retrospect.
There are certain applications of blockchain tech that may not yet be mature enough, perhaps integration in terms of the regulated financial world. But that depends a lot on the actual regulations themselves and have less to do with the fundamentals of cryptos.
That's what I'm thinking as well. Adoption has been happening already and it's been for years now. More and more companies are joining the pack and even small companies are trying to integrate blockchain technology to improve their operations. Want proof? How about the legit projects introduced here in the forum. You can encounter a lot of projects launched every day. Maybe not all adoption have been documented but I'm sure adoption is already happening.

I am not certain of the year nor anyone certain of that but I am sure that if adoption will happen, America has to openly embrace cryptocurrency and accept the blockchain technology is inevitable just like China has done. Then Europe can follow suite. Finally, cryptocurrency enthusiasts have to accept the fact the regulation must surely thrive for adoption

It can be but what makes me feel worried is not about the blockchain adoption because that will happen for sure as so many countries have already stated if they will try to use it as a core on their system. The big question that must make you feel worried about that will that give a direct impact to the crypto? We know that blockchain is a system that used as the main chain for crypto while people are taking the blockchain is a different part and crypto is a separate part in this case. You may see in some articles already published if blockchain adoption has already started. That is the main problem that must be fixed for crypto to be adoption by the institutional.
