Among all the currencies I think bitcoin is the one that's reigning all through out. After everything that has happened during the fork and other events that occurred, bitcoin is still standing firm and probably increasing its value continuously. And when it comes to users of bitcoin, it is very obvious that there are lots of people who uses bitcoin than any other coin.
In my opinion, bitcoin is the strongest, but no other coin can beat bitcoin, because the bitcoin users are pretty much so the other coins can not beat the bitcoin.
That is right, with a lot of users bitcoin will be unstoppable and I don't think even if it dumps hard, users will be more aggressive taking it as an advantage of buying a lot of bitcoins and hold it for a long period of time. For now, let's be active and HODL.
And bitcoin is having maximum price support as it have many believers and when the price falls the believers will buy more bitcoins thinking that they are getting the coins for cheap and on pump they sell for a handsome profit. This is what I also usually do.

Bitcoin breaks all the stereotypes. Previously, the strength of a currency is determined by its stability. Bitcoin proved that it is not always the case. The constant price hikes do not prevent bitcoin to be the most expensive and the most promising crypto currency in the world.

BTC is the mother of other crypto, no one is as safe as BTC. We have witnessed the events of August 1st. Everyone panicked and doubted that the impact of segwit would make BTC worse off. And it did not happen. BTC today is incredible you have witnessed it. Even BCC competitors can not beat it. It is very clear who is no 1.
Bitcoin is not just the strongest, it is the best cryptocurrency. No altcoin is closest compared to bitcoin. It has all the qualities that makes it exceptional. It is above all coins.
Bitcoin is so strong only because it is the first cryptocurrency that appeared, thats why it has the biggest market cap and etc. If we look on the other side compared to ETH and WAVES from technological side bitcoin is losing hard, even now im making much more transactions in ETH, than BTC. Firstly it is faster, secodnly it is much more cheaper to do so. All the ICOs right now running with ETH and WAVES. In a couple of years bitcoin will lose its position, if it wont develop

100% right that bitcoin is the mother of cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is the 1st invented currency among the cryptocurrencies which is ruling to date. We may conclude the importance of bitcoin from the rate of bitcoin which is increasing day by day despite facing hurdles of hard fork. I think the demand of bitcoin in the market is also a proof of strangeness of bitcoin. People are believing in bitcoin much and especially after 1st August many people have bought bitcoin for their better future.
Bitcoin is stronger than other cryptocurrency because it is the first cryptocurrency that ever launched back in 2009 and i think that bitcoin is too far from other cryptocurrencies so there is no chance for altcoins to overcome bitcoin because bitcoin is already settled with a big community and also great users, traders and investors.

yeah, obviously your newly in this forum. Continue what what you had just started on reserching on to bitcoin, then read most of the in forum for you to update yoursef here with that you know what to do by simply getting the opinion of others for you to get the proper knowledge about in bitcoin. Moreover, regarding where to invest in, still it is much better for you to read here and check the service discussion and market place altcoin.

Bitcoin is the most popular, and has the largest community in the crypto world. That’s why it’s selling at a high price difference from the others. If you’re looking to invest into Bitcoin, then I say yes! Do it! In no time you will start to profit from it. You can also invest into Ethereum and Litecoin alongside Bitcoins.
I have a feeling that the market cap of Bitcoin doesn't really represent the popularity and adoption of that particular currency. Look at the market capitalization of various crypto-currencies. BTC market cap is around $55 billion, while that of Ether is $29 billion. If we analyze the number of users and retail sites which accept both these currencies, the market cap of BTC must be at least 10x of that of ETH.
thanks for all the replies. it was helpful. but if there is risk in cyptocurrencies, other then bitcoin, which is the most best option to invest besides bitcoin. Will be better if there is a second opionion.
If that is the case, then there wont be a generally accepted parameter because every other interest in alt coin is based on subjectivity i.e depending on where each individuals aligned to and sometimes could be on the basis of the coin developed. In short the bulk of the work will be done by you in analsying various suggestions put forward because the ultimate decision rests on you which means the outcome whether positive or negative will also be borne by you. Dont be lazy to do your won research.

You must be joking right? Bitcoin is the safest way to put your wealth into. I hope you know the price of bitcoin at this very moment and it's @3500 dollars. What do you think which is the best bet? It is bitcoin all the time. Even if you buy it at this time you can profit with it as it is going up all the time. The speculated price for bitcoin could be more than 5000 USD by the end of this year. So just imagine all your wealth can grow systematically with bitcoin. Just do it ;-)

To be honest, when it comes to trading or investing, especially with cryptocurrencies, there is no safe option. All the cryptocurrencies are highly volatile even Bitcoin. But yeah, if you are looking for a cryptocurrency to dump your money into then I would suggest Bitcoin. Bitcoin is probably the safest of them all. Bitcoin is best in the long-term as its price is gradually increasing. In short-term, however, it is prone to price hypes and corrections at random times. If you want to invest in something, I would highly suggest that you invest in gold. Gold has for millennia, held its price and always increased gradually. It is probably the safest investment at the moment. But like I said, if you a stickler with cryptocurrency, I would most definitely suggest Bitcoin.
Bitcoin existence until these years is I must say it become stronger compared in other cryptocurrency. Its value is continuously skyrocket and it attracts investors that support btc. So moreover, bitcoin is good choice to invest your money and for long term investment by holding your btc and you will earn income.
Bitcoin is the strongest cryptocurrency or we can say the king of the cryptocurrency once the bitcoin dumps all the cryptocurrency will be affected. I may say that you're right for your idea of dumping your money or investing it all to bitcoin, it's good to invest in bitcoin the only things is that you'll need to wait for a long term before it's price increase the bitcoins price or need to wait a long time to earn a big profit.
