Sadly speaking from the occurrence of many ICO scam lately, will surely affecting the number of investors, they could turn around and cancel their intention to make some infestation in an ICO.
Undoubtedly, the business of ICOs is going through a major crisis by being severely affected by the lack of credibility that has been generated lately in these investment schemes. In fact, everything seems to indicate that their best moment was at the end of 2017, and since then they have consistently declined.
And it seems absurd that someone is willing to pay large amounts of money for tokens that, always and without exception, observe a drastic drop as soon as they go to the market. Nobody in this world is willing to invest $1,000 in something that within a week will certainly be worth $100, so the end of the ICOs seems closer and closer.

Recently there are many ICO SCAM and some investors lose their money, even new investors are very afraid to invest their money in ICO .. if all investors have lost confidence in ICO how the fate of new projects that will ICO? who wants to invest again? obviously the project will not work without the investors .. how do you think to solve this problem? We all have to be actively involved with the elimination of scam coins entirely from the market. If anyone notices a scam coin then they should post it to tell others about it to make sure that they do not make the same mistake again. If it continues this way then there would be no one willing to invest in the icos which means icos would die out.
It's very hard and a tough task for ICOs to be successful nowadays. Gone are the days when ICOs hit softcap or even hardcap within few days or weeks. Now the reverse is the case, thanks to the bearish market and past scam icos. Legit icos will still find their way but won't be easy at all.

I am not sure how other community is responding to this issue but I have observed that though ICO are getting scam a lot then also people have not stopped making investment into it and thus give us the clue that things are still pretty much in the favour of ICO. I am currently working on bounty of TowerBee project and it seems to me that their ICO crowdsale is taking huge leaps since they have started it. They have already sold 17,000 worth ETH token and thus makes sense people are still into the crypto investment.
Now this is just one example but to be frank there are hundreds of different ICO like this who are still working just fine.

If we want to solve this problem then what we should be looking to do is to get some regulations going in the market. If there are very strict rules for people to follow before they can put a coin out in the market then we would have less instances of scam coins. They should also have to verify their identity to the public if they are going to create a coin so that way we all know who we are dealing with

Only time will tell on what the future holds for this cryptocurrency thing. If developers don't make a move to prevent scammers to victimized crypto enthusiast then crypto is doomed and it could burst.
There are a lot of scam projects, this is true, but along with such projects,the number of investors is also growing, who are more professionally studying all the information about the project and becoming more legible in their investments. People learn from their mistakes, try to save their money, and if they are ready to invest, they choose the best. Projects are getting better, investors are getting smarter. Therefore, there will always be projects ready to develop and there will always be people ready to believe and invest their money in new and better.
The really good ICO project in the market will definitely get the support of investors, but so far there are not many excellent ICO projects, and some ICO project scams seriously hurt the confidence of investors and they are afraid to invest in ICO, which is for the encryption market. It is sad, if the establishment of relevant regulatory agencies to strengthen supervision will increase investor confidence, so that excellent ICO projects can be better developed.

the most effective way to solve this problem is the awareness of investors, they should be aware that they need more knowledge about ICO especially the knowledge to check the truth of all information provided by the ICO project such as information from companies, team, partners, and so on
Fear, suspicion, and mistrust is rampant where upcoming icos are concerned. People are wary to invest, and that is in fact a good thing, for it enable the weeding out of scams. It isnt like the ico market is dead, that is not going to happen, but we will see an influx of better projects, which will always be backed by the right community and investors.
There is nothing can be done, since crypto is decentralised and nobody want a regulatory body to supervise, the best thing is to do the research by your own, for now people are already less interested in ICO, there is too many ICO and there are alot of scamming, new ICO won't be too good in the future, and we already got tons of ICO for different usage

Most ico projects are indeed very risky to invest in them, as many are identified as scam. However, a good project will always get support from investors, however investors need the land to make a profit. I think the ico project will continue because good ideas always come up, and what investors should do is to be cautious and check it before investing. 
It's much more likely that instead of giving up people will just start developing mechanisms aimed at making ICOs more transparent and easier to detect scam at early stages. Moreover, that sphere of scam alerts and ICO evaluation can also be monetized.
There is no way scam won't enter the space with the huge amount of money being raised every week, the investors are getting wiser, unless you are a fool and newbie, the first rule in the space is never invest into a project where the people behind it are all anonymous or the developers have no public history, so that they won't just disappear with your money. For me, ICO has come to stay
ICOs are having a hard time for some months now since December. Most ICOs are trading way below their sales price. I personally will not want to get involved in an ICO when after it get listed it will go down.
One of the reasons why it goes down is because of Referal bonuses.
Another is those who bought at pre-sale would make alot of money by selling therefore crashing down the price and buying more tokens again and repeating a vicious cycle

I agree that ICOs need to do a lot of work to recover their reputation. But this is not the business model which is bad. There are mean people standing behind it. I have nothing against crowdfunding, but don’t want to pay for scammers’ Hawaii villas.

But still the good projects are getting good support from the investors if they have advertised enough,so still people are good at finding the scam and legit but it will be difficult for newbie investors so they also have to improve their knowledge at cryotocurrency field.So everyone good at it the scam projects alone will fade away soon not all.
