I give up trying to rank up on this forum. It's too confusing for me
I've never worried about "rankings", the original "rank" was all about just being active on the forum for quite a while and is largely meaningless.
I don't think I even noticed the "merit" stuff for a couple weeks to a month after it showed up.

Thanks a lot for the heads up. Only one stat which is fMerit has a formulae for calculation there. Others will just be based on speculations, I guess. Politeness counts how many times a user has used words like "Sir" "Please" etc.
... Our Filipino and Indonesian guys will be leading the pack on that one. So I can just use the interjection, "please" and "sir" before I make a demeaning comment henceforth. April 01, 2018, 04:51:34 AM

Hi forum members. I woke up this morning to new rankings on Bitcointalk accounts. Anybody know how these rankings works and the criteria fro each one of them? I have tried doing a little search on the forum bit could not found any official post about the new rankings

Merit: The numerical counts of posts which were awarded a merit for by Bitcointalk forum members.(Note: Older accounts were automatically awarded merits considering their current ranking in the forum before the merit system was introduced)
