People we are all arguing that 80-90% of projects are scam startups. But in order to avoid it, we just need to invest only in ICOs, which use Escrow. That's it.

No product progress = no money.
Easy to say but nowadays its rare to see for a certain team to let escrows handle the money had been accumulated on the sale.Either they do have doubts to the escrow itself even no matter how trustable it is when it comes on handling millions of USD you cant assure if those trustable escrows wont able to be tempted to steal off that's why we don't really see such thing. So in either both sides theres no guarantee but I agree on the fact that  having a product would really be more appealing to invest on.

I remember when ICO trend was starting. Almost every startup was using Escrow. But then the hype was so huge that ICOs decided dont use it and it was a fault. Now investors dont believe even to good projects.

Escrow on ICO’s? I think its not possible not unless you are talking about signature/bounty campaign. It’s still hard to avoid scam ICO’s because even they have escrowed bounty campaign they still failed on their project after that, so your money will be loss for good. There is still no guaranteed profit when you invest on ICO, for me its better to buy token after listing on the exchange where token is more cheaper than the ICO price.

Escrow means that a third party (trusted by investors and ICO) takes all funds raised during a token sale and then release these funds to ICO team when next achievements reached (due to project's roadmap).

There is one reliable method. To stop participation in ICO voobshe. Accordingly, your time and nerves will be in order. And the time that can be freed, you can spend on another craft.

the only way to avoid 100% scam ICO, is not joining ICO,but you will lost chance to get profit from good ICO

In my opinion, there are no profitable ICOs this year. I followed many projects and the price of their tokens fell after the release of the exchange. Can you tell me what have been successful ICO this year?

ICO project fraud is feared for investors and bounty hunters, because all those participating want to getting profit, now many ICO projects have failed to reach the softcap or failed pump coin prices, but there are still good ICO projects and profit, so we have to choose good ICO project before we decide on investment

Give an example of the escrow that ICO would hire?

There are ICOs that are even portraying and aiming their project to become an escrow and there's no assurance about it.

The best way is don't invest  Smiley. This year is a difficult year for ICO after the explosion of ICO in 2017.
I agree, it's better not to invest in ICOs anymore. I didn't invest to any ICO before but last year was the year of ICOs where most of them became the top coins now. It's hard to determine the scam ICOs now but just to be sure, stop investing to ICOs and focus on trading.

I feel it, maybe this is a sign that the ICO will die slowly. too much cheating and fraud, I just became a small part in it. I have never invested unless my time to become a bounty hunter in 2017 is the best year for ICO and this year I have not found a real ICO, 60% ICO failed or extended.

Yes, I agree with you Yojodojo21, there are a lot of scams on ico, but there are still many who are serious and successful with their ICO, so we just have to be careful when choosing an ICO project and we will get money from the project.

Escrows are rarely used by ICO's and could still lead to lose of funds if the escrow decides to take off to bahamas.  Grin There are still good ICO's out there with good viable working products already. You just need to search thoroughly.

The only way is stay away in ICO investment and concentrate in coin and tokens investment. Nowadays most of the ICOs are scam so peoples are panic to participate in in these platforms. My only suggestion is better move to trading and mining platform.

Do not invest in ICO. By the way, if you are not HUGE investor, it is much more cheaper and more confident to buy later coins from exchanges.

As additional bonus, you can avoid KYC, will avoid scam, and will save about 50-90% of money because of cheaper price.

it seems to me that there are no full guarantees that you will not get on scam. I try to carefully select projects, taking into account the documentation and checking the team ..
