Isn't this kind of thing risky when you do it you say, dude? This is only applicable to crypto gambling that is banned in the country where they are located, right?

The OP said that his country (some government institution) blocked access to the stake.io website. This does not necessarily mean that Stake.io does not allow players from his country, or he may be temporarily residing in that country. Whatever the case, changing his DNS settings can help him bypass the country-wide block enforced by his ISP.

Of course they can do this and use sites restricted by their country's government by changing DNS setting or using vpn.  But they will be able to use it as long as the site doesn't ask them for kyc.  But if the site asks for kyc and there is no option to submit documents of that country for kyc then it will put the user in a big problem if he is holding any funds on that site. If the kyc problem does not occur then they can continue using the site without any problem.  But there is a risk here.

If you are looking to transact just a few bulks, you may choose to use VPN to access blocked sites , but if you are planning on making a huge deposit or wager big on the casino, you should have a rethink because you may run into problems accesing your funds when you want to make big withdrawal.

What if you are asked by the casino to verify your identity or provide some other kyc information that will reveal you true locations.
This are some of the things you should consider before using this kind of services.
Well, I have also asked myself those types of questions when playing on a certain platform that does not allow the use of VPN, but in itself, a person can live in a non-prohibited country and have been in a prohibited country, so if they have documentation that they guarantee that they are in that country, nothing happens, that person may have gone on vacation to their country of origin, use VPN and then from there they can continue playing because they have their documents in order, then I think nothing would happen, In the case of Europe, where there are many countries that are very close, it is very easy to be able to do something like this between non-prohibited countries and prohibited countries.

I don't think that if a site is banned for my country, it's not a good idea to try to gain access to that site using any tricks and deposit money there. Because robots are more powerful than humans.  The site's security system can detect you at any time if you are going to cheat. And how do you prove your identity if they are asked for KYC to you for checking your account? So I mean it's very risky and so beware of it. And I think it is wise to avoid it . Because it may allow you to enjoy the site for a short period of time but later it may put you in danger
The main purpose of DNS is to translate the domain name into an IP address, which I think the function is not to change or trick the IP address, not frontally change the IP address like using VPN. So if the website banned the user because used a VPN but he didn't use it, the user may submit an appeal and Send proof if he doesn't use it. Is any case like this?

The case of DNS is very particular, I know that many use or acquire a DNS to get rid of IP problems, especially for those who make and design web pages that are highly sought after to be monetized, so sometimes they use these tools, it is It is not the same as a VPN, since the VPN actually changes the IP of the geographical area including the country, that is why it is much more expensive, however with powerful DNS it can do it, I do not know if the google algorithm can detect it I don't know if they have or work independently, however because of the casino issue, I would use a paid VPN, just to cover my back.

My country banned sportsbet.io, Binance.com, and any kind of gambling website. so how to access it without proxy?

1. Open Chrome browser setting
2. Go to Security and Privacy
3. Select security
4. scroll down to advance then select provider, I used 1.1.1.1 (cloudflare)
5. then you will be able to access the blocked browser. especially sportsbet.io and Binance.com

I use different providers at my house, some can be accessed and some can't be accessed, and I don't want to use any VPN whether it's paid or not, but I was looking for something like this, apparently you shared this information, and I want to try it not using a VPN, and using the method you provided, here I am using a provider that can still access sites that are blocked by my government, if I go home the provider that I use does not allow me to open Binance or something like that, then I will try it later when I am in my private home, because I am at my mother's house, thank you for sharing this information Op..

No site ever bans cloudfare from any browser, they ban IPs from a specific country.  Because they don't want any user from that country to use their platform or those domains from that country's IP are banned by the government because maybe it's illegal to use something in that category in that country.  For example, gambling is still completely illegal in many countries and the government always provides protection so that no citizen of that country can play gambling. The matter is basically like this.  So in my opinion one should never use a VPN or any other technique to access any investment site.

But I think that instead of doing this, it might be better to use a VPN even if there is a monthly fee. But if it's effective and you've tried it OP, maybe I'll try to use this settings illustration you showed on this topic, thanks anyway.

By changing your DNS settings, you can access region-blocked websites that would otherwise be inaccessible. This works for the sites that use only the most basic geo-blocks. However, this technique doesn't hide your real IP address.
We can change many time IP address by dis-and connecting the modem or go to the command prompt then type > ipconfig/release > ipconfig/renew .  This looks a bit busy for us but sometimes this is a better solution than VPN and Proxy. but please use this trick for gambling site with don't have forbidden about VPN and dns.

There is a difference between a local and public IP address. Although an external or public IP address serves the same purpose as a local or internal IP address: locating computers and devices across a network, the difference is scope - an external IP address can be used by computers across the entire Internet, whereas an internal IP address can only be used by computers in the same local network as the router/switch. When you type "ipconfig /renew" into the command line, your Windows DHCP client will renegotiate an IP address with the DHCP server on your router. But it will be a local IP address on your network that has nothing to do with the external/public IP address that your ISP has assigned to your router.

When you are in a VPN, do you change the public IP then? When it's a VPN, the most important thing to change is the network mask, right? causing a proxy to be produced and that leaves everything unprotected, which means that a VPN that only changes Proxy is not a VPN, for me a VPN is the only one that can change everything, from the Public IP to searching for the location and leaving the country to which one is accessing from there, and I think that from google it can be verified, right? In the same way, a VPN is a risk to be able to enter a site that is all prohibited, perhaps the alarms go off if the site determines that there is a use of the VPN.

To help your overall anonymity and security, yes, a VPN will change the public IP. Most commercial VPNs will assign you a new one each time you connect to their server, meaning you can never be tracked back through the same IP address. The most important thing when you are using a VPN is that it provides you with an IP address that is located in a different country than your own. The main reason you would want to do this is because most services block people based on the location of their IP, so this just gives you a better chance of being able to bypass any geographic filters or bans. This is one of its core functions - to obscure your identity and location, so you appear to be somewhere else on the planet.

A VPN itself is not illegal, but it can also be used for illegal things, such as accessing content one wouldn't normally have access to - like watching movies and shows that aren't available in your country or having access to episodes before their official release date. If you use a VPN to do these things, however, then you are breaking the terms and conditions of the site. In the same way, a company like Netflix can ban an IP address from accessing their site if they believe that that it is being done through a VPN.

Yes. A VPN, or virtual private network, is a service that allows you to switch to a different public IP address and to connect to the Internet through a remote server. This means that your online activities are secure and private because they're encrypted and hidden behind the VPN server.

In the same way, a VPN is a risk to be able to enter a site that is all prohibited, perhaps the alarms go off if the site determines that there is a use of the VPN.

That's correct, but it depends on the service you want to use. Some allow VPN access, while others do not. If you want to use a VPN for Netflix or Hulu, for example, you need to choose the right one.

For me this is risky. If a company or a service is banned in my country I wouldn’t try do something like this especially since my money will be at risk. Binance banned US users from using their exchange, if someone in the US uses this trick to access Binance and begins trade. There is a possibility that your browser may have a glitch and Binance blocks your account. What do you do?
The fact is, with KYC mandate on binance exchange the user will not be able to access the exchange as a US citizen, because at a point he will need to verify the account before being able to make any trade on the exchange.

So I see this as a total waste of time because in the long run, he will need to verify the account at some point.

only to open and access the site which is indeed blocked will work. as long as we are not in a country that is blocked by the casino, the OP's method may work.
but if our country has entered the block list from the casino and we force access to it to play. of course, it is very risky.
for players who use DNS settings, I'm sure they already know the risks of the account they use to bet.
Some already know the risks, but some don't know about the risks and only find out after they get into trouble because of using the VPN. We can indeed use a VPN, especially if we are on the list of countries blocked by casinos. And this should give us an understanding not to continue or we will be at our own risk.

And although our country is not banned from visiting those casinos, we don't need to use a VPN because some casinos prohibit their users from using VPNs. So as much as possible, we should read the casino rules so we don't get into trouble in the future.

Usign a VPN is always advisable, even if you live in a free jurisdiction that imposes no special rules. Now, most people go and buy a subscription to a VPN to control how they look when connecting to a site, so privacy is a secondary concern. But for those of you who are concerned just about privacy when visiting sites, you may want to try the Opera browser, which comes with a free VPN service.
Sometimes our privacy remains number one wherever we access to any site. I myself have subscribed to a VPN for years, for me it is mandatory even though there is a monthly fee, but that's okay. But most people choose to take the risk just because of the cost. There are several free applications on the playstore or appstore but usually the VPN is constrained by slow speeds and it doesn't make me comfortable. Opera browser which has a VPN feature I have also tried it and it works quite well.

Good information, but are you aware that once in a while Cloudflare DNS goes out of service? This is the current dns I am using on my Router and mobile, some times the dns server will be out of reach and will disturb your internet connection, this can reveal your real network data or mess things up for you if the gambling platform detects that you aren't true with your location, just saying.
Yes, that is the risk. We all know, there is nothing save on the internet even if we use military security ever. For that situation, we need the best DNS provider to reduce that risk. If you ask me, I still don't know the best provider DNS, but google is the best for me, I don't have a problem so far. For some time I use 1.1.1.1. if when I change my browser to firefox, and when I use chrome that is suitable for DNS google.
