I think that issue is fixed already as i no long have that experience while posting. Although i had similar issue early hours of today but i stopped and waited to see if it could be resolved from my end as i had to see if it was from my network provider and i noticed it was partly the error i was experiencing this morning. But everything working fine now from my end or is any one still experiencing such from their end?

Today there is some issue when opening Bitcointalk account or posting new reply. I saw many users posted same reply multiple times. if you are facing same cloud issue then don't worry and posting new reply don't need to post multiple times. you should check first before making post second time. if first one already posted then no need to post another.

Solution:
When you post new reply or thread then first of all write post and then copy all post. when you click on post you will see this kind of message:
If you click post and get loading, posting issue, site can not display well and you don't see your post. Press F5 and you can check whether your post was posted. If you see it after F5, don't click on post again.

Before you press F5, copy your post content and paste it as your draft. I use Notepad to save my post draft as I don't want to type it again if the post won't be posted and I can not get the content back.

In some of my post I didn't experience the long loading I don't know if the issue is already fixed but you could easily avoid the double posting for sure, after experiencing the issue, most of the button seems to be okay, preview button seems to be working fine and then if you already posted the topic editing it seems to be completely fine I didn't encounter any issue editing only if I click the post button I encounter the long loading.

After testing it I already understand how you could avoid getting the double post.

My post is taking too long to post and then I'm going to get the error It's just taking too long, my internet seems to be okay and fast so for sure, there are some issues.

It didn't show me my post as posted in the thread so I ended up posting my topic 2 times because of the issue so I just delete the 2nd one, browsing some topics seems to be okay and fast as well but I would just encounter the issue when I started to post.

Edited:

It seems to load for a long time without confirming that the post is posted but actually, if your going to check your post history your going to see that the post is already posted. so there are a lot of posts here in the forum that get double because after clicking the button they just don't know that the post is already posted so they ended up clicking the post button again or refreshing and clicking the post again.

Didnt encounter some of the issues it seems to be okay even though the preview is working completely, and editing seems to be okay as well, it doesnt seem to be a big problem because it is just the loading part that annoys me.

So if you click the post button already it seems like it was taking too long to load but the post seems to be posted fine, if your going to visit your recent post your going to see that the post is posted, so the tendency is you see the long loading some of the members probably think that it is still not posted but it is already posted, then they are going to refresh the page because of the loading then repost the topic so it always get double.

It's very simple to avoid this mistake of double posting.

Refresh the website --> Check your profile history post --> Done.

How many of you here check your post history after done posting?
I think that's the best practice to avoid this mistake.

OH is this also why a lot of profiles on bpip.org are outdated? I was checking mine earlier and noticed it was outdated. I looked up others and it was the same for them.

It's strange though since I've been regularly checking on the forum today (but mostly as a guest) and the pages loaded just fine but perhaps I was just lucky lol. However, I did encounter the "taking too long when posting" situation for the post before this one.

Update: okay this post went just fine. no circle of death or anything.

When this message appears , samply go back to posting page and refresh your page. you will see that your post already posted despite of this error. it's mean there no need to post again. If anything wrong happen and your reply not posted then samply reply again by just pasting you copied in above step.
Yeah, this solves the problem. Don't double post and no need to repost it once you've sent or posted already. Good thing that before seeing this thread, I've done my experiment on it and refresh the page to check if everything is posted and all good with that.

I don't think I'm having this kind of experience, though, because mine is not displaying the cloud flare error (an error occurred), but it's just something that keeps asking me to verify the cloud flare security, and after verifying, it still takes me back to the same message I'm trying to send.
Everyone is experiencing this and it's not the forum's problem but all about cloudflare having its own issue globally. Thanks to SG.

It is world wide issue with Cloudflare, not only issue on Bitcointalk.

Coinbase.com has same issue today

I notice lots of people have being complaining that they are finding it difficult to post, and people that have being post are ending up making the same posts multiple times. Since that have being posting, i haven't made any duplicate replies, sometimes when trying to post, its going to keep on loading and not notifying that the post have been submitted already, some people end up clicking on submit button multiple times which will end up submitting the replies multiple times, so the best thing to do is just click on submit button once and go back to your profile to confirm if it has being posted.

Almost everyone who was online on the forum today encountered this problem, and at first I thought it was a problem with my network; then I thought maybe I had run out of data; and finally, after connecting to another network, I still encountered the problem; but, when I tried to search something on Google and it worked, that's when I realised the site was having issues. At that time i was making a post and after i clicked post button it took some time to load the page, i tried to post multiple times but an error page displayed i was frustrated and thought my post was gone but lucky enough after sometime i noticed my post count has increased and the posts i made actually went through So i had to delete the duplicate copy.

I tried refreshing the website when I first encountered it, but it was still displaying the error page. It wasn't until I went away for approximately an hour that I realised my post had been made successfully. When you are in that circumstance, you might want to try posting again because you don't think the forum is having an issue. I think that's what occurred to everyone, which is why they all posted duplicates. Moderators delete duplicate posts that the poster is unable to delete.

I haven't been able to login not to talk about posting I was seriously thinking the other way round, I hope this network issues has stop permanently.
This was the main reason I didn’t make any posts after experiencing this problem, this is not my first time the site is experiencing this problem and anytime it happens i try not to make a post until after some time that the issue might have been resolved. This can’t be permanently because regular site maintenance is required and sometimes unexpected issues come up so you have to get used to it. Let’s just hope this doesn’t happen often.

But the process that I have devised to avoid double posting is to open my profile on a different tab, then open the tab where I am typing my comment separately. After I submit a comment and verify the cloud flare, I will just go over to the other tab and refresh it to confirm that the comments I dropped have been submitted.

delete option is not working for me when you create topic of your own, but the solution i discovered on my own at the moment without having to go through all this process the OP mentioned out there is when you are done writing click the POST and its loading up and the page refused to load to show that the post is replied, just go down to your profile and look at the SHOW LAST POST OF THIS PERSON there you will see that the post is already posted even the POST COUNT will tell.

NOTE: dont double click the POST BOTTON if not you will end up SPAMMING post in one trade

I don't think there is any board that allows users to be able to delete their post immediately after it's been created. Some boards don't allow deleting at all, so why would others want you to allow the post to stay for at least 24 hours? As for comments under threads, I just confirmed today that most of the threads allow us to delete our comments immediately after they are posted.

Checking to see if your post was posted or not is an idea that one will get immediately after they have made the first mistake, if not on a normal day, provided you are making your own comment based on your opinion. To me, I don't really look at those sometimes because I might likely repeat this post mistake.

If it were how the system usually uses to detect when one has made the same post before and when you try resubmitting, they will try to remind you that you have dropped such a comment earlier, which could be a warning for you to let go.

I think it's a technical problem because this forum is not the only place that's experiencing this issue cause an application client for P2E is also experiencing some network difficulty but to avoid double posts it's better to tab the thread after clicking post and get the below two response.

Goodnight, o_e_l_e_o 🌹

I've had the last few hours, well to go to other pages it's still perfectly normal but when I start posting I always run into issues here.

I appreciate your efforts.
This is a nice tip for anyone who feels they must make xy number of posts in the forum today whether the cloud fare and forum issues allow them or not. The process you described worked.
But if you are a normal user of the forum, why not consider to slowdown or not to use the forum until the issue is solved.
I have read many people complain about this. I can say I am lucky from my end, I don't issues with posting in the forum.

The network error today has been challenging in making replies and particularly new post. I'll add by saying if anyone has made a duplicated post due to the error experienced without knowing that the first post has already been posted despite the error messages but still continued refreshing not knowing it's making a duplicate.
Some people noticed the glitch and were able to control the way they posted. Just as the OP suggested, if you see such an error, you are supposed to check your profile and see if it was posted before you post it again to avoid duplicate posts.

Do well to report to the moderator to delete the very duplicates. So such posts could be deleted.
You can also delete the duplicate reply yourself using the delete option. I tried it, and it works, which makes me think that you don’t have to wait for 24 hours before you can delete your post.

Is anyone else having the same issue for the last hour or so? All the other pages are opening very fast but for some reason bitcointalk is extremely slow to the point of being barely usable.

Well, good for those that were able to quickly noticed the glitch and know how to control it but what about the newbies in the forum ? Those that are having to experience this glitch for the first time since their membership in the forum. They may not have the know how to avoid the duplicate that some other person's did, except maybe they get an exposure about it like this very OP thread explains.

I initially had the same experience mate but I had to wait patiently to see for myself how it goes. The first post I made today happens to  reflect twice when I discovered it, I had to delete one and leave the other. As you have said being patient enough to see you paid would be better or you copy your post so you can post it it happens that the initial did not load.

Fortunately, I did not make a double post, but today I noticed that opening the forum is slow and a CAPTCHA is being checked before entering the site. Perhaps there are technical problems or security measures.

This is not the first time such as happened, and double posting is caused by different factors. Network failure from the poster's end also caused double posting and also from forum software downturn or mistake from the the poster clicking twice in a post. Like what Happened today was a frequent occurrence which I have noticed for many times so as I saw the issue, I just let it be and wait for the network to restore itself before start posting.
What I will say is that when you post and the page took you to the cloudflare message, don't repost again but go and check the thread to know if your post is there or not before taking any action again.

Once I click on post and notice that the page is not loading all I do is to go back to open a new tab and go back to that thread and see if my post had appeared if it has I simply close the old tab from which the post was made simple as that....

I prefer using the preview button because it will update once you click it and you will see new other new posts or your own post. That way, I don't have to open new tab for the same thread but yours works fine. It's just we have our way ways of checking if your post is already posted or not. It's up to you if you try it or not and I think OP should use this or what you have explained to know or to check if you have posted in the thread or you still have to post it.
