It's damn easy – do not invest but hold. Anyway, untill there is a massive global HYIP as in 2017, not much will change.

Fraudulent projects cannot be avoided. Each of us fell into such projects. You are right even with high ratings companies can cheat. Therefore, coming to a project we can only hope and trust the creators.

Yeah you are right. A "high rating people" who supports the project does not make the project automatically legit. There are always a chance of the project failing or scamming. After all your "high rating" people does not actually care who gets scammed or not. Remember, those people are paid to advertise for them. There are also few well known people out there who makes legit reviews.
The best way to avoid fraudulent project is to avoid every shitty projects out there that are not being developed by some well known team.
There are many ways to find out if the project is scam or not. One of the ways is by reading their whitepaper, you can see all the information about the project in the whitepaper. You can also is see in there if something is fishy or not. Reviewing the team behind the project is also a way to know if it id legit or a scam. Research about the developer and it may help you to avoid fraud projects.
Reading their whitepaper will not help you to identify if a project is a scam or not, IMO. They created the whitepaper so they already make sure that everything there is good to read by the potential investors so all of the flowery words are there. The best thing that you can do is to do research about the project and also evaluate if their project is useful and if its members are knowledgeable enough to be involved in that project.

Its easier said than done, everyone knows there is no way to know a or detect a real project because scam projects are of different levels, some are detectable and some are not, research is no more enough but it helps too
Something I noticed lately is that people invest in projects that are close to them, we have seen so much in this space to just trust anyone. Most investors in ferrum are from US because the most of the developers are from there, this was an ICO in 2019 that raised it money in few hours, so also with some projects in Singapore. Everyone wants to know who is taking there money. We are getting easier ways also to find out about our investments

Detecting project scams is indeed very difficult, because between real and unreal projects is almost similar at this time, so research on projects is still needed even though it is not entirely helpful, but everyone must do research on the projects they want to participate in.

Easy solution... but won't work. It's quite cheap to simulate media activity about a certain project in the internet, so someone will always promote them. You need to play smart, do research on the platform, on people behind it, community activity, developer contributions. One of the current projects that I tested and did well is Amoveo, check it out.

how can one avoid the promotion of crypto projects? especially the promoter. I think a little difficult.
1. Most promoters are bounty hunters. which is their goal to participate in marketing.
2. the promoted project has a large allocation (although currently it is fake)
3. have a good start, for example a large project partner (even if it's just writing)
4. lack of understanding of the promoted project. (basically get a high reward, regardless of the project)
that is the reason scam projects are widespread in crypto, even controlling more than 70% in the ICO section.
People are only focusing on rewards than risks in investing in cryptocurrency market and that's why they got scammed many times. You can avoid fraud projects if you consider the risks, do not also believe to the high rewards that they are offering. Research is the key for them to find out if the project is legit or scam.

Yes, you are right, even though we research a lot about the projects, but many projects are failing to survive in the market. In the beginning, it is impossible to find potential about the project. Research is no more enough because as on online it is impossible for us to find what is happening in the background of the companies.

Some of the ways to avoid projects that are scams is by doing thorough research into the quality of the technology, qualifications and professionalism of the team, and the reputability of the platform hosting the IEO and also evaluate the performance of similar fund raisers before you invest, and this will help you to get a clear picture of what is ideal to invest in and what isn't

Scams are increasingly affecting the crypto industry which receives many unwary new investors every day, As we all know, blockchain and cryptocurrency are in its baby years. the key here is investors because the project will not run without funds. then what must be more observant in analyzing is investors not to do crowdfunding to ico or scam-indicated projects, so that they never run and it will not reach promotion from bounty hunters.

It is not true that bounty hunters are always waiting for the scammers to come and take their hard-earned money. The different consequences happen in the world and people should understand the reasons behind the bounty scammers. Projects which have a high paying bounty rewards usually refuse to pay after the end of the token sale.

Scammer always have an idea to catch hunters interest. Usually bounty with high reward it can be fraud project. Example: project A with total reward 1 billion , its obviously a fraud project. If there is something that not make sense just skip.
that's true. the rational amount that always spent by the bounty campaign should be around a few hundreds thousand dollars. If that exceeds million dollars and that can be considered as a suspicious project. Remember it's too difficult to get a lot of liquidity these days.
And what you are saying makes sense at all.

Projects that are dead or wasted in making more emphasis on ICO sales without calculating later when already on the exchange. Most of them are priced down because the airdrop or bounty allocation project is too big. Their ICO or IEO sales are too open to large bonuses. They just want money and money. And when they release on the price exchange dropped and dare not buyback and ended the project was abandoned. Yes, there should be no scammer nor a project that fails to be confined to all sales and promotion allocations.

I think there is still a way to overcome the problem of scamers in this crypto room (but I'm not saying to eliminate it completely). . This might not have a big effect but at least it can reduce some of the fraud projects that exist in this industry. . like avoiding and not promoting suspicious projects repeatedly. .
I have always observed that many of them and even have high ratings but still support suspicious projects, especially participants (social media).
maybe this is one reason why many fraud projects are increasingly rampant, because someone always gives hope to them and makes someone trapped in it.

so what do you think?
I draw the conclusion above based on what I saw there.

That is why we need to be educated on any project or engagement we dive in because scammers do really intend to fool those people who they think will be attracted to the advertising strategy they put up into their project. We need to be aware of what is a realistic offer and which is not. The common thing I have seen in the past that I have noticed about those  projects is that they are promising to give you an offer which is statistically beyond impossible. We cannot truly assure to totally stop this fraudelent projects but we on ourselves must be equipped on observation and researching to better know if we are leading into a legible project or not. Raising awareness to other people is also a great help providing that you have a tough proof so that we can lessen the victims of this act.
