yes maybe here a lot of phishing website, because do not know. actually to distinguish the phishing website can be seen from the top left corner, there is safe writing or not, if not then the website is phishing.

Here's what you should remember not to fall for phishing sites!
1.Carefully study any messages asking you to provide personal information. 2.Satisfy such request only after verifying the trustworthiness of the site. 3.I recommend not to click on the links provided in the messages, and try to access the sites and organizations in a separate window.

mostly safe way is bookmarking your important site, if there some changing on the site that you ever visited, dont try to take action. first, check the url link, is that same with previous url you visit. phising website actually really annoying. if you cant be stay aware, it will attack you like a malware, moreover your data has been recorded if you have visit that site. try to use incognito browser mode when open http:// except https:// you may use usual tab browser. in order to avoid unsafe site.

I use google chrome extension called "web of trust" , if it is turn green, it means trusted , if it is yellow , suspicious and I enter with caution. But if is red, I don't venture at all. Meanwhile , I check the  left were the url bar is , to find SECURE with the padlock green to make my decision. Most importantly bookmark your favorite sites.

Avoid typo errors. Most phishing sites have incorrect spellings of legitimate ones. Double check before entering an url. It is better if you bookmark the legitimate sites once you accessed them to avoid typing everytime you need to go to that url.

To avoid phishing websites always use updated antivirus. I am using Quick Heal Total Security. It has its own browser which is phishing proof.

I have recently given some Faucet hunting (bitvideo.club) a go and this entails clicking on links from various websites.
Would this be regarded as a dangerous activity?
am I leaving myself open and compromising my computer?
 Huh

To avoid phishing I preferred we must use bookmarks. That's the safest way in order for you not to go on phishing.
of course.  But i think op is asking how to identify all of phishing link. Except those recent link we always used cause we dont need to search it through google to browse the site , because  it has a history already on our browser once we always browse the link.  Unless if you clear data your browser cause you will lose those original links.  By the ways i suggest to ask here before you search in internet cause there's a lot of stupid people now aday which is they making phishing link to get our information.  Instead ask here or do some research how to avoid those phising links to ensure that our private information is safe.

A simple way is to find the official website on its ANN thread here. Do not clink any other links received from others. On the other way, the ICO team should make the official website safe.

First thing that I've learned to identify the phising websites is checking the URL link, because from that itself can know to some extent whether it is a legit site or something an try to scam us. When you find such websites never try to use it, because those were full of illusions. Once you get in, through one way or other they try to benefit out of you.

You should be knowledgeable first before you can avoid the phishing websites because as the years goes by and the people are getting smarter, the phishing websites are also getting closer to be look like the original. If you will study and learn how to identify the phishing websites then you can avoid it and one of the ways to identify is to look at the url.

There are several ways to avoid phishing websites. The first one is to think before you click the link. You should be informed about different phishing techniques.  The second one is to verify the security of a site. The third one is to use a firewall and an antivirus software. And the last one is that you should never give your personal information.

Well, first of all I do not follow any suspicious links and I never open the letters that come to me from the addresses I do not know. Here is also good old instruction how to protect yourself from this stuff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jj5m3EaIyW0
