Because it is still based on our luck, once you become greedy then it is dangerous already. Being greedy will make our gambling experience worst once you've won once for sure you will want MORE, because I know that feeling, so it is better to be contented on what we have won that day then stop for a while. Most of the successful gamblers do focus on one game and that is the reason that they always win the betting in that specific game, But I will admire those gamblers who are all-rounder means to say that they must know the tricks of betting in many different sports and those are the Best Gamblers because they can make profit on any betting.

Very true. Sports betting is not a rocket science.
You only need full knowledge of the sports and if you are a loyal fan of that sports running for years, you have a good advantage in this game.
Hearing someone else's piece of advice or tips is really not very helpful on this betting game.
I prefer to know the sport before betting on them, in that way, I won't feel cheated by anybody else.

You are likely referring this sports betting to trading or day trading since you mentioned of cutting loses, man, there's no such thing as cutting loses in sports betting. Perhaps because of their type or strategy of betting. There are a lot of ways to place bet in sportsbetting and some of them are too risky to use thus players in most cases lose rather than winning. Another reason also is that sportsbetting is full of surpise. You can't tell or be sure that a certain team is going to win even though they seemed to be dominant than the opponent's strength.

I don't see winning in sports betting as an act of pure luck because the best team will always win in term of sport and the knowledge of the gambler determine the outcome of his result. I think there's something OP is not doing right but I will advise him to only choose the sport he participated in or good at. An example I love playing football and tennis and I only gamble on the two sports.
