I'm looking to buy a bitcoin miner (mostly for fun). I can't seem to figure out how to convert cash into bitcoin (yes, I have a wallet and am already part of Slush's pool). Could someone please help me with this? I was thinking about getting the Antminer S5 or an S4 if I can find a deal. Thanks guys.

VirWox is the only place with credit card, but they charge too much. With cash - localbitcoins is best for you.

localbitcoin should do the trick, or find someone locally in your zone

I also recommend them. Cheesy

If you're not from the US, you could also ask in your country's sub forum.

That's how I found coins.ph. Smiley Most convenient for people in the Philippines.

Another option, although fees can be steep is virwox. They charge between 0.30-0.50 + 3.5% depending on your currency. You will also spend some money converting from USD (or your currency) to BTC. They have daily/monthly withdraw limits as well.

I have heard that Circle now enables most ways to buy btc, anecdotal though as I have not yet used the service

For creditcard/debit card, circle its the best way to go, there's a limit on withdrawing $1000 usd / week and buying $500 usd per week

If you want to buy with cash you can try localbitcoins or currency exchange area, there are several people that are willing to sell bitcoin for skrill, neteller, etc..

Do not forget to try the btc-e exchange

you could try coinbase.com, they sell bitcoins but take a week to confirm payment on the coins. Also if interested bitfinex and bitstamp do bitcoin transactions as well as cryptsy. if you are interested in looking at prices for most companies, these aren't with service fees the company may charge.
