- Transfer money from a bank account to an exchange like Kraken or Bitstamp, this is the cheapest option, the bank fee is only a few cents and the deposit to an exchange takes just a few hours
- Buy it on an exchange like Bitstamp with credit card, but there's a large fee
- Buy it on a Bitcoin ATM or almost every petrol station, 7% fee
- There aren't many people using localbitcoins around here and those that do usually want about 25% more than the market price, so I just let them keep it that price
I choose the cheapest options. If I don't care about anonimity I use bank transfer if I do I use ATM or petrol station to buy it with cash.
