Best to buy BTC with a virtual currency that cannot be disputed  Wink

Credit Cards are a lot of risk of you don't live in the countries where the sites are considered good option.

More and more places (exchanges like CEX.io and others) are offering the ability to fund your account (and buy bitcoins) using credit or debit cards. I think Circle does too - not sure, I haven't used them. Is this similar enough to PayPal for you? It wouldn't be my first option for buying bitcoins with a card but that may be the convenience some are looking for.

If you wanna buy bitcoins with PayPal then your only option is through Localbitcoin.

PayPal should belong to you and you may be asked about documents. Smiley
I used to use localbitcoins (I would be selling though) and got scammed twice out of 6 times, so 33% of the time I sold I got scammed. Their rates were also pretty ridiculous and it wasn't very automated. I just didn't find it worth it.

You just need a good Seller. If you are buying Bitcoins with PayPal then it is you who can scam the seller because of Dispute and all that  Wink
Buying bitcoins is a lot easier but you are the one who gets hit with the fees. When you sell bitcoins however you can charge much more but there is the risk involved. I know some people who used to trade a lot with me but they ended up scamming me one day *cough* candystrypes *cough*

Hi I'm new to Bitcoin and I've been looking around on the internet on how to buy Bitcoins with my PayPal account. So far the only website that seems to offer this is Virwox and they have insane fees (15%  Shocked).

Does anyone have experience with buying Bitcoins with PayPal? I'd greatly appreciate any help.

I really just wouldn't try. If you find a successful outlet you'll very likely end up incurring insane fees. I don't think there's a reputable service out there where this isn't the case.

If you're doing peer-to-peer there will be rampant fraud.

Paypal's not ready to go full Bitcoin yet.
I agree, theres not really any point, just massive fees which cuts holes in your profits as you exchange to paypal and back. If you live in canada try quadrigacx, their withdraws are 0% fees and their deposits are very good, straight from your bank account for 0.5% I think something like that.

Yep he is charging 450$ usd for a btc, which is almost double the actual price. But the benefit of this seller is you can pay with paypal which is easier for some people. I would really reccomend against ebay though, rates are waaay too high.

I've seen and read, a lot of people saying that is a bad business buy BTC by paypal.
So I'll just pass on the information.

It is and in general it's recommended you don't. That said I have used a service in the past (not around anymore) that did work for me buying and selling bitcoin-paypal but I only did small amounts. I suspect it's the large amounts the scammers going after.

"How to buy Bitcoins with PayPal?"

The process normally goes like this:

1. Buyer sends PP to sellers account.
2. Seller is never heard from again.

Bitcoin and Paypal are not a good combination, chargebacks can happen after weeks if not months after a transaction.

If you are determined to use Paypal, (apart from Virwox) you could setup an account on a site like Cryptothrift offering to buy btc like this seller:

Uhm, I'm pretty sure if you really really really wanted to use PayPal to buy Bitcoins, you can do that rather easily with LocalBitcoins:

https://localbitcoins.com/buy-bitcoins-online/paypal/

Buying it there at a fair price is a whole other discussion though.

OK..... I'll suggest a better option. There are a large number of sellers who are willing to sell BTCs in Local Bitcoins for Western Union. You can send payments through WU online, using a CC. Or much better, go to a WU branch and manually make the payment. Much safer and secure than Paypal payments.

You're not going to find it without gross fees.

Withdraw your money and go buy with cash on https://www.bitquick.co (3 hours max) or use a bank transfer with https://circle.com (3-5 day wait)

I don't think you'll be finding many people willing to sell you BTC for PayPal transactions. In PayPal transactions can be reversed by the buyer and PayPal tends to side with the customer, that way you could get your money back while still having the BTC - they won't be wanting to take that risk!
