You sure ? Recently lot of red flags have raised against BTC.com.I still suggest him to move coins to a completely new wallet and then export the private keys to coinnomi since they support storing BCC and easy retrieval as well.

I'm positive, what red flags are you talking about? We have been around for a very long time, our team is visible, we are backed by Bitmain... we are expanding... I mean we're not just some random wallet.

By new wallet, do you guys mean that I create a new Blockchain account and move all my BTCs there? Or should I just create a new wallet within my same account and send it to that address?

I am certain that those who sold their Bitcoin Cash during the first week are ruing it now , if they had been patient for some time they could have sold it for a larger amount of money, after all they got it for free and  there would have been no lose fat they had kept it for some time,

Here's the fastest and easiest way to do it that I know of that another forum member helped me with.

First you have to have your 12 word private key and then you open a wallet for bitcoincash on BTC.com.
There you enter the 12 words to extract the bitcoincash from blockchain.info
Make sure that you use a bitcoincash wallet and not a bitcoin wallet.

Thank you, I'll check that out.
There's no risk to my current BTC funds if I go ahead with this, is there?

I don't know about risks.
All I can say is that it worked for me.

Just remember to move your bitcoins to a new address BEFORE entering the private key for the old address into the bitcoin cash wallet.

Why?

Cashback 15%
Just a little note, any bitcoins that you may have prior to the block 478558 are just the amount of BCH you will be able to receive if you wish to recover them. Any corresponding BTC after the said block would not be able to net you any BCH in any way.

I'm not very Bitcoin-literate. But I have a couple of Bitcoins. A few days ago I found out that it is possible to get equal amount of Bitcoin cash for free because of the fork. I don't know a lot about what fork is but I know it created this new crypto Bitcoin cash and it is somehow possible to get equal amount of Bitcoin cash. Is that true?

In very easy instructions, can someone guide me on how to do this?
BTW, is this completely safe? Or is there any chance of using the BTC that I have?
