difficult to control it, when we win we can withdraw it. but you will refund your money when you get loss or want to play again, even greater than profit. set a winning target and immediately withdraw may be a good way to reduce greed

Set a winning target? What does that even mean? You know when you can actually win, lets say I have to win $25k this night? So basically you will never stop playing until you reach that amount of money, then that's just even worse. I mean you will gonna have to force yourself in to winning that amount, even if you can't. It is much worse than greed, because as I've said you are forcing yourself. So I would suggest that you will have to set limit to a certain number of games that you will be playing, that is more logical.
I don't think that it's worse because knowing the fact that you already hit the winning target, meaning you won't play anymore. Unless you lose and don't hit that, you should also have a limit on the losses. Because it would be hard for someone to keep on playing keeping in mind only about the target, not the losses and that he or she makes.

Were here to gamble, and greediness is part in gambling, if you do gambling just for fun then there is the possibility that you can control your greediness, but of course situation make you go all and thats the greed will come out, just enjoy the game make a bet that you can accept of a loss, thats one way you control greed.

And it's up to you if you will let greediness part of your gambling strategy or part of your hobby. It's hard to remove greediness when you are always depending on that thing, I've became a greedy person since before my friends are letting me hold big amount of money though it's not mine I felt the power. And in the end, it built up my mind that I can never be a greedy person in the future but up until now I'm dealing with it.

Setting limits is a really good system to use. But you always have to ask yourself.. Why do you gamble? Do you want to have fun or do you do it only to win money? If you want to have fun, start up a game and reach your limit within 2 minutes.. Do you continue play? Or do you follow with the limits? That's where most will have issues I believe, I know I have.

Asking yourself sometimes or reminding yourself why you are gambling will not help. If the mindset you brought into gambling was not right in the first place, then there is nothing such a person can do when they are pretty much involved unless they stop totally. Until such a person realises he or she is having fun and either they win or loose, no problem, then a limit can be set, and anything apart from that won't count as some people out of greed will just want to continue to keep winning until they get burnt.
Greedy will never have an end , it is happened continuously if you keep following your eagerness.
You should try to learn from the past and always be grateful to feel it is enough , take it and just leave full of joy.
Don't force yourself for the sake of making your near impossible dream to come true, just be realistic , gambling is not your way to make money , all you will achieve iss just greedy and bad feelings.

As i know gambling is all about luck and how to control my greed, except sportbetting (of course need skill and strategy).

I have experience in gambling (casino), somtime i hit big only with faucet or free money and i can withdraw from that. but because my greed i always want more and more, then i'll come again with my money as bankroll. Bet more and hope win more, but because of that i'll lose my money little by little and usually i'll stop after my bankroll to be "0". I call that with greed.
Anyone here have any suggestion to control my greed? Let me know.

As you've said, gambling is all about luck. When it's on your side make sure not to push it. Constantly remind yourself how you lost your money the last time. The moment you've won some money, LEAVE and don't look back. Enjoy the moment with your luck and let it replenish itself. Enjoy your winnings or save it in the bank. Then you can focus on your work.  Then work extra hours so you can have extra money for gambling. Repeat the steps mentioned.

You can't control your greed. No one can. If they tell you they can they are simply lying. Gambling is supposed to be an entertaining activity and not a source of income. Consider any positive balance 'lost' unless you withdraw it first.

In short - play for fun and don't chase goals. Any profit at the end of the day/week/month is just a bonus. Good luck.
I totally disagree with you. Greed can be controlled since it is among the seven deadly sins. You can control it the same you control your emotions and sexual desires. If you are just aware that you are greedy and realize it is a weakness that is going to destroy you one day, you can put limits to it and control it the way you want it to be. It is not quite easy, but you can do it in the end. You just need commitment, determination, willpower, and time.
Of course, greed can be controlled but it is only to a certain degree, we can not control the greed forever, at a certain point, a strong temptation will impact our greed, and we will lose control. Especially in gambling, profit is a temptation too great, although we can control and set limits but accumulate greed for long periods, it will be very easy to explode when it has a strong impact from the outside, same as sexual desire, if you can not satisfy it, at some point, you will not be able to control because desire is too large, that is our instinct, we need to satisfy when it needs
I have a little different opinion on this topic. Greed can be controlled and once controlled, the person won't become its easy victim but it will be very difficult for the first time to stop oneself from his temptations.
Next time, it will be a lot easier. This is how addicts recover. The only way to get a control over greed in gambling is to think about the future results.

I think you are right regarding the ability to control greed. We all greedy in a way and whether we can control it or not is what makes us different. For people with pathological greed it is better to never start gambling at all, but for others it's just a game where they can practice money management, greed control, anger control and other things. It's impossible to say exactly how to control greed because every person has its own way, but what is for sure is that greed should be under control.
Maybe some point in our lives we have been greedy whether it is concerned about money or just some type of valuable thing. We always want what's best for us for ourselves and that is human nature in my opinion. Controlling that may be hard but i think it is possible especially if you have the right mindset.

Yes, we all want what's best for us but that's not greediness. Greediness starts when we want more and more or when we desperately want something what we can't get whatever we do. I think it's a normal feeling when you want to win in gambling, but when you want to win so desperately that you risk all you have for that, it's not okay.

Control yourself and your emotion cause if not better you quit gambling. Just set your daily goals like if i win 50 bucks today or if i lose 20 bucks today i will stop and play again tomorrow. If you are gambling just do it for fun not for your money for everyday life.
Great idea mate put your limitation in the manner that you can afford to accept it whether you win or lose you are willing to quit and stay away for a while because being greed will just let yourself being dumped inside the house consuming most of your time and money trying to win big or recover your loses in a quick span of a time.
All of us do have greed which in the times it would come out it would really be hard to resist this is why this thing would really matter most on how a person would able to control himself when it comes on gambling limitations. If a certain person is sensible and do really value his money and time then he would able to think off his responsibilities and addiction would really be rarely to see.

It is one of the most difficult tasks to be done in our life - CONTROL over yourself even when you know you are doing something wrong.
There are a lot of things in the world which are weird and gambling is one of those things doing which a person loses his capability to stop himself from continuing it, under the influence of addiction. When such things happen, either should you see a guide to help you get out of it or to help you do it for fun and not living, or you should start doing things and keep yourself busy with them which will help you to recover from the distraction it creates in your mind.
Why people don't have control over their emotions? Let's look at this problem with a scientific point of view.

It is due to the behavior of brain that a person loses control over his decisions. Our mind trains itself according to every new environment because it tries to adjust in all sorts of weathers. Meditation is the only solution because this calms down our brain in every situation.
You have a got a point, greed is basically a strong emotion and in order to control emotions, we must have a calm brain, this game is all about staying calm because such person can act according to the results. He will first think about all his actions and their consequences, then he will do what will favor him. It is difficult but if a person will practice staying cool then his gambling greed won't be any problem.

It's very hard to control greed especially when we are winning because our mind wants more while we want to stop playing. Greed is always here when we are gambling especially on dice where the profit is so fast and losing your balance is very quick too. When we meet multiple greens in dice game we want to win more and sometimes we double our bet but we expect the roll to be a win but become lose that's the time we will be mad because instead of stopping we bet more. If we want to control our greed we must control myself or yourself from betting.

if you are already addicted you will definitely be greedy. one to control it is by determining the maximum limit every day when we gambling. lest we cross the boundary so we can get out of control

Indeed mate.. learn to control yourself by also controlling your emotions and feelings. If you think you can do these things to yourself then you can control not to be greedy in gambling. Just limit yourself every time you have a gambling activity.
Limiting is also good in terms in gambling, but some people don't control themselves even if they already set a limitations with themselves, they will not think about their limitations, they will only do what they want until they are unconscious and their money are already losing.
I have been into that for many years. I mean, I made great plans but I always failed to follow them. Maybe it was because I was not so serious about life as I thought it is an easy task to live. i had no management skills and zero control over my desires. It took me a lot of time to become a man of action. Like you said, we follow our fun first and security later without realizing it easily.

Simply put, if you're someone who can't control yourself from doing something that you like, greediness will always find you whatever you do. And if you're that kind of person, there's really nothing complicated about it, don't gamble

Yeah, it goes all to hoping but temptations are so powerful too that it is so hard to get them right out of us. I think while you are not that deep from gambling, better keep yourself from betting your money and hoping it will be greater if you bet it. Better invest it so you can have good money in the future.

The temptation is really powerful and especially those that have only been in gambling quite recently wont be able to get out of it. If you get out it sooner then you might be able to completely control it . Alot of people fail to control their greed and they will spend alot more when they are greedy because they will want to win more money in the end

being greedy will not lead to success, it will only make us life more complicated. It's good to grow what you already have and make it fruitful, but not to the point that we get too addict, there's a proper way ,steps and plans for it.
Last time I checked, even in our normal daily life, greedy people do not always last. Any greedy person always end up fumbling and fumbling up so bad that they cannot help themselves. The mindset that some people bring into gambling is what ends up affecting them.

Some wants to just make money, while some are at it, they want to put more to see, until they end up putting all and losing all. Greed kills quickly and faster.
