Actually you doesn't need any advices and suggestions here to control your greed. It's you after all and the moment you asked questions like that, you already popped out from the usual manner when playing gambling.

You noticed that you are too much greedy in your gambling activity meaning you noticed that your money is losing at all. You realized it now and you care now for your future actions. How to control it? You already know the answer and doesn't need spiritual advice here. Good luck.

I agree with you. But here's a tip. Set a limit when you gamble, for example you will set 3 limits, if you reached one of those limit then STOP gambling for that day.

We do have control.. but we just let our greed take control ourselves. In every action we do, it is our own decision and our own consent whether we will allow the urges and wants to take control the situation. I have seen several people who can control their gambling games ( me included).. As far as I know, it needs a good planning and a determination to follow that plan. If we can do that then, we can say we are able to control our greed since we will act accordingly.

That's a really bad advice IMO. If I think about my family and how much they mean to me I think about getting them a better life and nice things that they really want. that makes sense , but when you did it don't you think about another source to make profit instead gambling? i think to gamble are just a shortcut , whenever they need money in hurry and no place anymore to make profit they come to gamble.

so just make your mind clear before making any decision , gamble are nit an answer for your financial problem.

Thats what we should do but without some determination it might not be possible. I was thinking that I could be rich from gambling as well but then when I lose everything that when I realized that I need to change this or else I wont be able to get out of my addiction. Im greedy when I started gambling but not anymore since I change my goal to play for fun

Just also set an amount that you'll gamble for good so that you will not waste too much money and will lead to lose. That's how you control greed that you have definite amount of bankroll to gamble and don't give it that much so that you won't expect yourself to be in high state because it will lead someone who's asking that much will become greedy.

It is very simple when you are playing in a Casino you have to just decide one thing that whatever game your playing you are playing it for fun and not for money. The only thing makes you greedy is thinking about your personal life. in a Casino your personal life and your gaming life is different. Suppose your playing a shooting game and you are thinking about the amount of Bullets in your gun then you cannot win that game, to win it you have to kill a player and take his bullets. If you are gambling then always put money which you can afford to lose.

Gambling is such a type of game only to make you greedy and when you become the most greedy,you loose all your money...Just chill yourself while gambling..and just try to remember a person lost all his 20BTC by gambling..It will keep a fear on your mind...Infact you need confidence also otherwise you cant gamble..

Controlling would be a difficult thing for someone to control if he is not a responsible and a selfish one, controlling your greed every time you are winning or losing would be easy if you are going to think what could possibly happen if you are going to continue playing gambling. It is all about your decision in the end, if you think it is not necessary to control your greed, then don't control it.

At least take it as a reference, even when you would ignore it then. Discussing something like this publicly gives you some warning that at some point could remind you. So nothing wasted here for me, any thoughts are welcome and just FYI it's never easy to having a control over your emotions to being greedy in gambling, it's our nature to act like that.

It Depends on you how you control your greed. It really depends upon of your feelings how does it feels right about of your greed. While on your a gambling place you just need to control your emotions how to handle it while your hating so much about of your losses while on playing.

Well, you broke the golden rule which is to spend what you can afford to lose, when you go YOLO it's just like you are making a suicide and as if there is no tomorrow in gambling. We can make money of course but it's better if we seek for a long term journey and stay away from gambling if that is your intention as most likely the opposite will happen, when you are desperate you loss control that is why you will lose.

The golden rule is important, for sure. If you are a gambler you always have to leave yourself with outs.. without any outs you are committing suicide when it comes to your gambling "career". Going YOLO should really be the last available option when all else have failed, but if you start out with a good system that has limitations in place you should never be faced with that situation.

I agree with you for people to stop gambling alltogether. That being said, many people still do gambling just for the sake of fun and recreational activity which is still fine if done in limit.

It gets serious when people dont stop even when they are heavily losing. They get addicted in gambling and turn there saving into mere loss. Controlling gambling, or rather heavy gambling, is in ones own hand. They should know what they want out of their life. Just fun or some actuall money.
