a Bitcoin exchange will convert your bitcoin to cash. It will allow you to sell your Bitcoin at a reasonable price, for your preferred local currency.

There are exchange sites to convert bitcoins into real money such as Bitcoin ATMs, exchange, buying selling platforms, debit cards, peer to peer sales etc. However, If you hold your bitcoin on an exchange like Coinbase, then you just have to sell you bitcoin and convert it back to your currency. Then you can withdraw that money or send it to your bank account. Here are some steps from the Coinbase website. The exchange rate depends on the fear market dynamic, but you can use the Coindask bitcoin price index for reference. Bitcoin-using exchange is one of the most common ways to convert bitcoin into real money.

It's even easier than going to the supermarket) There are a lot of exchangers that allow you to do this. Do not be lazy to view this forum. I advise you to delay with converting BTC to Fiat, do it in a month or two

Some mates have already mentioned almost all the possible ways.
In addition, you can join some social media group where may you find some interested people. Although, it may seem risky to you. You can simply have face 2 face deal what I usually do in my country. I hope you also can. Of course, localbitcoin is the best place.

Hey unless you're already in profits I would not suggest you to sell bitcoins at current levels, as it has potential to touch to new high levels in the long run. However if you're desirous if selling then you can sell them at local bitcoins.com or use the currency section here. Wherever you choose to sell do your due diligence, check previous trades history and feedbacks.

You can find any local exchange willing to purchase Bitcoin from you and trade with that exchange. On the other hand, you can try localbitcoins to find the traders from your country so that you can deal with using the payment method which is convenient for you.

* https://localbitcoins.com/instant-bitcoins/?action=sell&country_code=VN&amount=¤cy=VND&place_country=VN&online_provider=ALL_ONLINE&find-offers=Search

However, I would recommend you to always use escrow if you are not sure about the authenticity of another party involved in the trade.

You can see the real value of the coin you have in exchange, usually in US dollar so convert this to your local currency. Now you know how much you have.

Do you have an idea on what's the local exchange in your country?

This is what I've found.
https://vbtc.exchange/en_US/ --- I'm not sure with this but that seem to be one of the most popular on Vietnam.

And you can trade as well with localbitcoins.
https://localbitcoins.com/country/VN

Bitcoin is a real money and what you are looking for is a way to convert bitcoin to cash/fiat.

You all are right and paradoxically this is the only real valuable answer to the OP's question. It seems that sometimes we forget how it is to be newbie in the crypto-world. He wasn't asking about theoretical ways bur for a practical answer.

Apart from the ones above, take a look at https://hodlhodl.com too; I haven't probed it myself but it seems that now that localbitcoins may start asking for KYC it may be a good option too. And https://openbazaar.org now has a peer to peer crypto-trading functionality, take a look into it too if the solutions above don't fit to your needs.

I think there many ways to change your bitcoin asset to Fiat.
1. You must choose where you would transfer your bitcoin to your exchanger do you want (there are lot many exchange or you can search exchanger in your country or get to bitcoin ATM's).
2. You send your bitcoin from your wallet to wallet exchanger (you must read the rule in exchanger are the must kyc or not to withdraw)
3. Sell your bitcoin at the price that you want to vietnam coin(this option if vietnam have exchanger)
4. If the transcation success and then you can withdraw you money to your bank acccount anf then it's done
Hope this will give you some option and can help you

You can change bitcoin to Fiat on cryptocurrency exchanges where there is this pair. Then withdraw Fiat money to payment systems that support crypto-exchange.
