Apart from virwox, there's also bankvcc.com who accepts paypal for btc, but since I have never used them, I can't comment on whether they're legit or not. I wonder how these companies accept paypal and don't worry about charge-backs?

I have bought coin on LBC with Western union. I have never seen anyone accept paypal. I don't think it would be the smartest move for the seller and I personally would never except paypal for btc. I just could not justify the risk for me. To be honest even sellers that accept moneypak on lbc are taking a risk as i bet there is a way for them to lose with that as well.
It would be crazy for a seller on LBC to accept paypal, as they would be asking to get scamed.
i agree. The only time you should really accept paypal is if you know the buyer in real life and trust them with your money

If you have Paypal, why don't you move it to your bank account? Then you could buy on LBC for cash locally, or you could buy on Coinbase, or you could wire to an exchange.
All great ideas.

all of these options would greatly lower the risk or the seller while providing only a minor hassle at most the the buyer.

Generally if you are trying to buy bitcoin with PayPal you are probably a scammer

Virwox accepts paypal, but there are big fees. but if paypal is your only way it will work.

Make an account at virwox.com,  you will buy SSL (Linden Dollars) then convert that to btc so the process goes like this

USD/SSL then
SSL/BTC

thats how you can safely buy btc with paypal.

thanks, I did it last night and it worked perfect

You can also look at brawkster.com which lets you buys things for other people and you get the cash value in btc. Sometimes its buggy if you buy things from another country but thats also another way.

Instead of buying with PayPal, why not just look on the web if there's a bitcoin ATM near you? They're cool to use.

You using paypal with bitcoin transaction can be abused by just simply filing a chargeback report.

no problem! I have also heard of coinmama but seems they might be alittle sketchy can anybody confirm if they are a go?

Coinmama does not accepting anymore paypal

That sucks but it is good to know thanks for sharing.

anyone tried these before ?  Huh

Not sure what you mean.  Is there a certain service you asking about?  I can only assume u mean converting Paypal to Bitcoin.  If the the answer is yes many people but the seller of Bitcoin is very likely to be scammed because the buy can reverse the funds easily and a long while after the transaction has been completed.

You could also just buy GHS vouchers on ebay to then sell your GHS on the cex.io exchange to acquire bitcoins using paypal.
Most of the GHs that you see on ebay are way overpriced so you will essentially be paying a huge markup on your bitcoin if you were to do this.

I don't think many/any sellers on LBC will accept paypal. There are just too many ways to get scammed.

true
there is no point for sellers to accept paypal when trading with btc is the safest way
I think this person was referring to trading funds via paypal for bitcoin.

Paypal is very risky for the seller as it can be reversed a long time after the trade is complete.

It looks like a lot more payment processors are taking on paypal and CC's.

VeriCoin is going to be the first alt with the ability to buy it directly from within the wallet. Its either moolah.io, or another working with them. It will be out in a few days. Eager to test it.

Getting money into crypto is always a pain

For me it's simple, not pain, i just wire funds to the exchange and buy BTC at anytime. It takes me 24 hours for whole cycle.
