I think you have tried this with highly advanced idea or code. At first try to do this with a very basic idea and use bbcode which is similar to html. You should take the advice form the expert and experienced people also.
First practice more on html. Do not jump into this kind of tasks, because it may feel very hard to you.
Start learning the tutorial on bbcode. This will not come in handy so fast, you will be needing some practice.
You can take help from google there are many useful tutorial to learn signature which can be helpful for you. You can learn step by step from primary stage to upper level .
You need to use search and check few tutorials from the bitcointalk users. They give you very detailed examples of how to create and test the signatures.
