Well, for me,  I think what you need to do is - like you said - make meanful posts, you don't have to be taught how to make meanful post- if you must be taught that, then I don't think you are matured enough to be here in the first place, I personally understand how important merit is most especially to newbies who will desperatly need it in order to be moved from a lower rank to a higher one so as to enable them participate in some bounty campaigns which sometimes requires  - from a Jr. Member rank and above, it's all simple, but requires you work hard and legitimately, don't post comments for the purpose of increasing your post counts and activity- this won't get you anywhere, only post comments when you have something meaning and helpful to share or contribute to the discussion or thread, and if you must start a thread of your own - make sure it something important, interesting (might be for fun or knowledge) - just make sure it's something one or two persons can learn a lesson or two from, and also make sure it's not something that has been highly discussed here - and lastly, always make sure your thread is created in the right category

thanks and Goodluck

Actually it is a good question... The idea is that you make a good and original thread that can help the community with something and you get merits for that but I have seen lots of good posts with no merits and rubbish comments that got merits so you have to make a good post  and hope that you impress some of few merits sources

You can make merit by writing informative posts, guides, as well as helping moderators maintain order on the forum (reporting about spammers for example).

Help me.How to do good post and earn merit??
The only thing you need to do if you need merit is posting useful topic with helpful information, i believe that you will get something. But first of all, you should learn about crypto and gain knowledge.

I'm ambivalent about this. Sometimes the answers one finds after searching are conflicting, and may even be incorrect - especially if they are being posted by a spambie who doesn't understand the topic. In this case, I think it is good to ask the question, rather than struggle on in confusion. On the other hand, the oft repeated questions such as " how to get merit?", or even " what is Bitcoin?" become tedious after the first hundred or so times they have been asked.

Probably the best solution is to use Google or the forum search as a start, and if you still are not sure of the answers, then ask the question. Having done the search first, you will be in a much better position to ask for a detailed answer.

i notice some of the high rank members here do not like when a beginner ask a question and that question is you can find an answer in google, they're just going to insult you. like "are you dumb? google it first don't ask stupid question" phrases like that you will going to encounter when you ask a silly question.    they could just have ignore it but instead they make the beginners hesitate to ask a question again. And yes I am a beginner and I already experience this once.
How would you feel if someone walked up to you every single day of every single year to ask you the same very question, will you keep replying calmly to the person, the same very question you already answered the day before..
That's basically what goes on in the forum most times, you actually shouldn't expect answers to topics that's been discussed numerous times, when you actually can simply use the search button, fish out such threads and get the desired knowledge you so desire
The more the reason for the backlash most noobs get, as its perceived as laziness on their path or unwillingness to learn the right way...

Here we are again. Do you really think that just by putting a topic about merits you will get one? It don't happen like this. You have to work on things you lack for example let's start by how you communicate. It matters alot. Also instead of posting same old things be a learner for now and read as many posts as you can. Even if you stay in the beginners and help corner, chances are you'll still learn a lot from it. So stop begging for it and start working for it.
