I've personally seen a lot of very constructive and useful posts from newbies and jr.members lately, but no one gives them merit, cause the less new people here, the more old-timers can earn, its simple

This makes absolutely no sense to me.  I don't earn any extra by not giving merits to lower-ranked members, and I've done exactly that quite a few times--look at my history.

There are too many noobs, too many shitposts, and not enough merits to make everybody happy.  If a great post goes unrewarded, that's just the way it's got to be.  Post here because you want to, not because you're shootingfor the most merits, to rank up, or just to get paid.

My guess is that you think you've gotten stiffed somehow and that your posts are gold.  Let me tell you: They're not.  They're all short, uninteresting, unhelpful shitposts.

You should start by learning and gaining new knowledge so that you can have something to share with some people and with that they can share their merit with you. Learning is they key for you to have one, for sure if you deserve some merit they will surely give you but for now, make effort first.

Make your post worthy, even we know that some are to thrift in giving merits, who knows they will still notice it and give it a chance. Post something that is not common in these thread which is informative and many will find it helpful. and hope that those who benefits from it.

Thrift in it??

I think that every day the chances to get the merits are decreasing. Even if your post is very informative.  In order to get the merits you must do something incredible.

That's the reason why there is this option, to become merit source:
Quote
2. Collect TEN posts written in the last couple of months by other people that have not received nearly enough merit for how good they are, and post quotes for them all in a new Meta thread. The point of this is to demonstrate your ability to give out merit usefully.

There is no method to earn merit points unless someone sends you which at the moment does not look very generous, i think achieving merit points should be made more easier and also some tasks should be introduced that can earn us merits in exchange of serving this forum like moderating or monitoring posts and threads.

quite a weird question from you!as I see you already have some merit! and you can understand how you deserve them and for what you get them!
Uh...yeah.  Not a weird question at all, since OP probably did not get those merits via legitimate means--but I'm sure he's not going to cop to that and he'd be an idiot if he did.  But I suppose he could have earned them on the local boards (I didn't look at his merit page), because his English is quite broken.  Indeed, broken beyond anything a Band-Aid, splint, cast, or even an operation at the hands of the most skilled surgeon could repair.

My tip, since "writing constructive posts" has been stated repeatedly, is that grammar, spelling, capitalization, more-than-limited vocabulary, formatting, and a bit of wit go a looong way when concocting a "constructive post".  These things elude 96.3% of campaign participants.

Not Chipmixer, though.  I've got fuckin' brilliant coworkers that put my feeble attempts at quality posts to shame.

Rule number one - create valuable content for Bitcointalk community. Probably altcoin discussion board are not the best place for your posts because of so many shit posts here. Here your post more likely will be lost in a sea of trash.

and if you are creating quality content - eventually you will be rewarded.

Is this guy trolling?

Good question. I can't tell if it's sarcasm or not.

If not, you can start buy posting your topics in the relevant areas of the forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=24.0

In order to get the merits you need to be useful on the forum. Your posts should contain information that helps people. Otherwise, you can not earn a reward.

Bro, I also try to understand this issue
read the whole forum about merits
and I realized that first of all you need to try, write only what will be needed to everyone or help others, and then everyone can be rewarded! each of us should be kinder to each other and help each other!
but I see you already have some merit! good luck to you

Best advise - try be something useful for this forum and its users, study the market, write interesting posts , give useful answers, this is the only way, mate, but not 100%. Some users prefer sell their merit for $ and not give free as gratitude. This is sad.

The simple answer is to write interesting posts that offer something useful. An example is to call out a scammer by doing research and submitting your proof to the bitcointalk community. By helping to clean up the crypto world you will be doing us a service and will receive a lot of free merit for it.

I heard this information for the first time. Thanks for good advice

I am new to the board and have zero. Guess you will get merit if someone like your posts. I not think to much about that.
