I think the receive and send bitcoin from anywhere worldwide is not the main advantage or characteristic of bitcoin. because there is a lot of money delivery method that has the benefits or advantages like this. like paypal ?

even if you already told your brother all the advantages that bitcoin has and how does it work it will still depend on his interest and you may be the one who really needs to know all about it because if you really have enough knowledge with bitcoin you would know how does the faucet works and how possible that it can generate a revenue for you . anyway you need analyze anything first, you should know how to get or attract people to use your faucet before planning to start a faucet site .

you just tell them that if they want a anonymous transaction without real information in real life then Bitcoin is the answer and tell them they are going to be cool because they are using bitcoin a digital thing in the internet and not many knows it. At the current state of development micropayments pretty much have run stuck. End of 2017 when Segwit may or may not get activated we can see clearer.

Philosophy on its own does not create value.

At the moment the only advantage is border crossing, which in a world shutting those country borders down should count as a solid argument for BTCs!

He's just illustrating a point that bitcoin has a bad reputation due to past problems and its involvement in the dark web and some large financial scams. I would say that it would be hard to convince everyone about bitcoin due to these facts but there is a chance if we can provide needed services that are legitimate and operates purely out of bitcoins.

It was the past and the initial stage of bitcoin now much advancement is going to happen like verification on exchanges etc so in the coming time people will not be able to do any illegal activity with their wallet because his addresses will be connected with each other and with that a person will know or at least the exchange will know that who that person is.

I cannot say that bitcoin faucets can be one of the advantage of bitcoin. For me its just an amusement and like what other said here it will gonna waste your time. The real advantage of bitcoin was is when you are sending money you don't need to go outside, to communte going to remittance outlet, all you need is mobile android phone with net connection or laptop its enough and you can do money transfer.

its just waste of time now indeed since the actual rewards is no longer that much considering the time and effort that you consume unless you have many ref that also claiming you will have some good chances of earnings and you can use that to encourage newbies to get involved to bitcoin for sure from that they will be interested and study much deeper,.

With refs it might be worth it, you wouldn't need to do anything but the refs won't last long either until they will also find out it is a waste of time. I used to get a buck in days, maybe even weeks with hours of work that aren't worth the effort.

you are right in terms of sending money through internet and received it instantly then that is one of the bitcoin advantage because we all know that it is fast way to send online. Well we could also use it by buying some stuffs if the merchant accepts bitcoin as payment.

I think for someone to get persuaded to letting his brother borrow some money for his bitcoin website, it would take more than saying: "No government control, decentralized, fast and secured." That's literally 7 words and I have never persuaded to do anything by just using 7 words specially if I am not familiar with the investment. You need to explain it to him in a deeper sense so he would know that his investment would probably grow but there's no assurance to that at all.
