hello everyone
my question is how to find a promising project? how to check the project is scam or real? if u have experience  can u share this experience in here
thanks

the best promising project is bitcoin! the other are just copy/paste with some modifications.

Finding a coins with same impact is practically impossible.
I made an analysis some time ago here
https://www.publish0x.com/bitbollo-cryptocurrencies-blog/a-depth-analysis-of-bitcointalkorg-speculation-thread-the-ne-xpnnjwq
taking in account 1000 predictions made in https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/the-next-100x-1000x-coin-2106360 this topic "The next 100x-1000x coin?" .
What was the result? Easy!

56% of coins suggested had a negative results.... from this number only 1% had a moderate loss.
11% of coins are literally dead.
13% of coins have a positive results but no one coin has realized a x100.

So yes there are promising project but isn't easy to identify, and in some cases the same coin suggested in a different timeframe has earned a negative return... or just a moderate return.
Mine suggestion? Knowledge! Is the only "coin" you need in this life Wink

If I'm going to be honest with you, it's a pretty difficult task, there are quite a lot of projects today, with many more still coming out, thus choosing/selecting the one that may be profitable is more or less based on luck, and very risky, personally I don't invest in new projects or altcoins for that matter, I think ethereum isn't a bad choice at all, it has gotten to the stage were it can be said to be a long term project, as a result it's a good investment. Having said that, If you manage to get any 'promising' project, do not invest more than you can afford to lose, and mind you that you should take profits when it accrues, cause most of this new projects are pump and dump coin, and they can dump at any time.

It is not as easy as we think when going to choose a coin or token from a new project. Additionally, I am wondering why should be interested in a new project. None is promising of they are new projects. every project team will always say that their project is very promising. But in fact, most of them are only shit.,
Only by doing deep research and analysis will make you sure about a project, including its clear roadmap that has been being conducted. Trusted and professional team moreover with their exact reputable track record with the successful project previously. Some real use cases and utilities, deal with the new development of the crypto industry.
And of course, doing some IEO/launchpad, and other listings in the middle or top exchanges with very good liquidity and market cap.
But, will it be easy to find this kind of project?
of course, no.
Will that kind of project be really succesful?
of course not.
It is still likely gambling in which it is still debatable and also 50:50 to be exactly promising.

The developers past history also bring a lot to mind because nowadays there are projects whose developers remained in businesses or in projects which got success in the past and they satisfied their users. If someone do not know much better about the future of a project then they need to follow the project which is started by a successful business or project.
Having experienced developers is a plus to know that the project have a future and that it is capable of handling the issues and activities of the project. It is needed to have a experience to determine how they can probably work on the project. Though when it comes in new projects that is not backed by know companies or personalities I prefer to buy them once they already have new development, been done with ICO projects before that just disappear after buying. Good thing now we can buy in a much secure trading sites than before.
I will also add one more thing. As we invest in the project so that in the future the price increase and we get the profit so we have to ensure that the developers give a solid promise or proof that after the ICO they will list on a good exchange. Because in the past I participated in some project which were started by good running companies but after the ICO they still not listed on exchanges. I have the coins of some of these type of exchanges but they are worthless in my wallet.

That is why people ask for the team to doxx themselves in projects. The fact that if they scam you, at least you have their name and so forth matters, but at the same time it is not just for to make sure you won't be scammed, you could still be scammed and not be able to do anything about it. The main and biggest reason is that you could literally see them doing work before they started this one, and that matters.

If a person who is in charge or a project worked on another project for years, then it makes sense of him to start another project and that is a great deal, if that person is anonymous then how would we know if they did anything similar before? So, knowing who is in-charge of a project matters a lot when it comes to crypto, it allows you to know if you should trust them or not and without trust then there is nothing in crypto left to invest.

hello everyone
my question is how to find a promising project?
I have some suggestions for this

1. Avoid to deal with unpopular project, the popular project will always come from legit project. The community will always try to invest into the legit project and you can see this and this makes you more easy to discover the legit project and avoid the scam project.
2. You can know that track record from the team. This will help you to avoid the scam project.
3. These days so many scammers are using rugpull method. To avoid this and never try to invest in the meme tokens or project with non audited code.

Try to do what i have been writting above and i hope that that will help you to avoid the scamm project and that will also make you feel easy to find a good project. If you are doing do your own research and you must make sure that you have been doing it with all of components in the project.

Now that we are heading into bear cycle it's best to start looking into IDO and IEO i believe this is the only way to make 2x using this method than trading or other ways of making money in crypto space, as the bear season gets dipper you can use the profits to buy bigger altcoins like polkadot and solana

You can do your own research but I personally get good opinions from users and investors here. Most reviews about trusted projects and suggestions here are reliable. Before investing, you can also check the reputation of the project's developer so you would have an idea if it would be handled well in a long run.
*team support
*legitimacy of the project
*use-case

These are the things I use to check as we know how tricky is the market and even are to care about doing research sometimes we've got wrong and fall into them. So investing doesn't need to be rushed, it should be in time and been in thorough research, or else, we just waste our money and time on shit projects.

At this time it is easy for us to detect a good project or not, at least it is not a scam project, and I think the best way is for us to invest in IEOs in several markets such as Pancake, Gate.io and so on.

hello everyone
my question is how to find a promising project?
Try to check whether such a project has been backed by venture capital or not. I think that when the project is backed by so many parties it can be said that if the project has massive support by so many parties and it means this project has been running by trusted developers. This will make you spend a short time to analyze whether it's a scam project or not. Im sure that venture capital like binance labs will never try to invest in scam project.

You can use the suggestion that i have written above and that may give you a small insight about how to pick the trusted project safely. So many scam projects are exist in the market these days and that's why you must be careful with any project. Try to learn the project before try to invest on it. DYOR is a must for everyone.

Third you have to gain your own experience in every detail and learn from your own mistake.

Sometimes we don't need our own experience to know what to do especially with the kind of enquiry that op is asking. If you learn from other people's mistake then nothing is wrong with that. In terms of buying coin, there is nothing special learning from others and avoiding mistakes but truth be heard that it is not easy not making personal mistake as it is part of the business of investment. To reduce such mistake is when you don't become foolish to invest in obvious scam project. Get to their telegram group and spend some time reading reviews it helps.
yep, that's not wrong but do you know about "dumb money" or what ever you want to call it. Some people just doesn't want to understand, their own assumtion is they are right until they're making personal mistake but if they can't accept it, they'll just quit. My point is I don't want to tell them what to do or become a bullshit seller in people's mind who takes advantage of people.

Look at this bitcoin dump today. I think a lot of new people have just quit when they see they are lost now. Panic, losing hope or whatever the reason, maybe they just can't accept what they've done and some learn from their own mistake. Reduce some mistake? it's their own choice their own freedom, which way they want to listen and choose.

Quote
“Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.”
― Mahatma Gandhi

In the end it's doesn't matter who is right and who is wrong. what matter is how you deal with it

You must have lots of friends in this forum or telegram group and see new projects on social media.
After that look at the project and how they run the project according to the roadmap, once it's done, look at MC, there you can buy altcoins at low prices when the market cap is under $100k usd, but still do your research before investing, recently I found a L1 blockchain project like Berylbit, the team is still developing the blockchain and you can see it here

There is no platforms that will tell you that a project is promising, even coinmarketcap and coingecko only lead people to the right links for coins and tokens and shows full information about every coins and tokens, do your own research and take your risks, you are on your own
I believe that concept that stipulates that we have no professional platform that can indicates that a project is promoting or is not promising, it just come to my knowledge that some points are fallacy and people just frame some points to keep theyself update wrongly, it's your practical research analysis that will let you know when you have a potential coin it doesn't matter a particular building platform or site that will indicates the potential of coin.

I feel like if something looks too good to be true, but you can't find the problem, and NOBODY found the problem, then maybe it is actually very good? I know the saying "if it looks too good to be true, then usually it is" but people just look at good projects with great potential and then they just think it is impossible and move on.

Yes, there are thousands of projects that will fail, but at the same time the good ones will look good, something bad won't make you rich, even though there are many scams out there, the fact that the very good ones will stand out still holds. So, look for things that look great and nobody could find a proper reason for it to not be great.

You have to research everything even on little details because it could make lot of impact on your decision. Stuff like if they put effort on making website to look really promising, if the team has involved into another scam projects in the past, if the whitepaper is plagiarized, if the social media account is active, if the team on telegram is really active and so on. So many stuff to search, you have to do it anyways to ensure your best decision.

if you want to get a good project, my method might be to see the team in the project, for example, the bounty manager has less value or not, and also as long as the project is held in smooth distribution or not because all of that requires accuracy..and also what the future project concept looks like by looking at the grub that we can access..

hello everyone
my question is how to find a promising project?
It's not easy. You need to did various research started from analizing the team, roadmap, hype, code, and many more. These things can be done when you can spend a lot of time to dig the project.

how to check the project is scam or real?
Try to dig it and do your own research. If the team was not revealing their identity and it has more than 80% chance to be another scam project and this must become the main concern to analyze or discover the scam project and avoid to invest on it.

if u have experience  can u share this experience in here
thanks
I have shared that but you must focus on the team. If you are not so pro in programming language and then you can ask someone who expert on this to audit the code.
