Where do you start when looking build a team for a real project?

When you looking for a team, you need to be specific about it whether you want to hire or you want equity participants. If its to hire then you need to have enough funds and finding a team in that case is the easiest thing to do as you can get them on various freelancing sites with inbuilt escrow and also on the forum as well without too much stress.

The other difficult part is having little or no resources and wanting to form a team, here you would practically to everything on your own and it could be frustrating when those who joined are only there for immediate income and never believed in the dream. In that case, you need to have people around you who you know and can convince to believe in you to handle key parts of the project while other areas like publicity, design, public relations can be handled from the pool of externals. Its not always easy.

seems like your personal not easy, but successful experience. Thank you for sharing this info.

I was using telegram groups for that matter. Just talking to people, finding out their talants and abilities. Also discord communities are pretty good place to find some team members from different countries. But always make sure that you know who you working with

Team members should be bold, flexible, initiative and easily trained people. Those who see the ways of development of the project, want to develop themselves and know how to achieve their goals. I, as the head of the marketing department, do not care what kind of education a person has before me, whether he has a diploma. For me, the most important thing is that he can achieve goals and easily learn.

Go to meetups, get involved in the community, and join Telegram/discords.

I think I should look for the same target people to work and work towards the value of the community. You may have ideas for some project that is shared in this forum to attract the people who really need it.

There are many special sites, communities, forums, where people communicate professionals in various fields. I think it will not be difficult to find the necessary people there.

Frankly I think you have to outline the roles of your project and it's objective. Contacting amazix or tokensuite would allow you reachout to a larger audience because they have a good reputation already but they have their individual requirements which you have to meet up with. Goodluck with your project.

Hello everyone,

This is a good question, I've also been dealing with this for a while now. Finding good teams in blockchain can be pretty challenging. Here is how I can help guys:

I am a blockchain developer myself and after working and delivering jobs to many clients I have decided to create a website specialised in finding good teams and developers and match them with jobs, start-ups and projects.

http://dapptitude.io/

Don't hesitate to contact me, if I can help I will gladly do so.

Regards!

I haven't tried building my own team (at a business level), but in games, I have made a lot of teams where I'm the leader. It's not the right topic or project, but it can be related just by knowing the members. I hope the people that you pick in your project, you know them and their capabilities because those people are the ones who you would depend on.

Find the right co-founders. The most successful start-ups are made by teams of 2-3 people. They should be passionate about the idea, they must be ready to work for the sake of the idea. The competences of these people should not be repeated, but should complement each other, covering all key areas: development, sales and marketing.

I generally feel like you need to find people / talents that are in your region, or at least in the same time zone. It is extremely hard to communicate if you hire somebody but he or she isn't there physically that means that it is really hard to collaborate.

For me, people speaking the same language is also important too.

How to find the best team for the job you asked,Having a good team means a successful project but first, before you start searching, you need to know what you want to build,is it an exchange or a blockchain e.t.c so you can know the exact people to call and instead of hiring contractors,is better to get people with like mind to partner with you because the foundation of success is understanding.

First, you need to make a list of how your team should be like. Write down all the characteristics needed for a good team. If you are the business owner, then start recruiting people and accept the qualified ones. You are to proceed with the interview job. Remember that a good team must have a good and friendly leader. You should not go harsh on them because the work atmosphere will get rotten and the employees will get bored and will not do their job in the right way.

To find a best team, I believe all it requires is patience.
You have to participate in events, meet with different people, post your job on different forums, interview as much people as you can. The more people you contact with, the more diversity you have. After that, start filtering out the people you don't like to work with. With this, I hope you will find the good team.

This is not a good idea to rely.

I think you can then look at various hiring sites post job openings on forms etc.

If you want to build a real project then you can look for a team by posting a thread to your qualifications on services section,  good payment and trustworthiness is the best asset you may have.  There are reputable and veteran managers whom you can always have a deal they can also lead you to great and elite/professional person(s) that will make your project a real deal.

Don't underestimate your own network. There are always people who know people. For example, if you are looking for a tech guy, you might have a contact on LinkedIn. Maybe he has a job right now and can't join the team. But he will surely have people in his network who might be interested.
